Goodies hands down is the best frozen Custards truck. If you pass by this truck you are doing yourself a disservice. Get a peanut butter shake or a Oreo concrete.

Goodies Food Truck visited our school today and was out of this world! No one could resist smiling when they walked up to the vintage truck with the 1950s tunes and the owner in his bowtie. And then there was the frozen custard! So delicious. Whether you had the turtle pecan sundae or a simple waffle cone, the custard was creamy and perfect. We can't wait to invite this truck back again.

Best secret in DC. The Oreo shake was Devine and although we could not stay for lunch the crab cakes looked and smelled amazing. We will definitely be back the next time we visit D.C.!

This is by far one of the best places my family and I visited at the National Harbor! I am a bacon and maple fan and to find it here with my favorite desert, is outstanding! Keep up the great work!

Last week I was heading for a meeting on M Street and spotted this light-blue 1952 Metro panel van named Gigi with Goodies paint on the side. By the time I got out of my meeting it was gone. Two days later I was at National Harbor having dinner, spotted the panel van again and learned that they also have an outdoor ice cream parlor. I can’t say enough about the nostalgic happy feeling this place inspires. The Root Beer floats were excellent, Custard delicious and music was great. The employees were friendly and cared about the customers. Highly recommend checking it out.

We got a ice cream cookie sandwich with chocolate chip and double chocolate chip cookies with strawberry ice cream in the middle. As well as a double chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookie on the side. The double chocolate chip cookie was a little hard which made it difficult to eat but it was all delicious either way, especially the strawberry ice cream. It tasty like fresh strawberry ice cream. Definitely a good place to stop by after dinner.

Wow! Best cookie ever! We got the peanut butter cookie with vanilla ice cream. It was amazing! Definitely check them out if you are nearby. The staff members are super nice and deserve 5 stars across the board too! Keep up the great work! There is a little park with benches just across the street to eat at.

Indulging in a delightful combination: a freshly baked cookie paired with ice cream. Wrapped up the evening with a warm cookie ice cream sandwich featuring a double chocolate chip and a regular chocolate chip cookie, along with Oreo ice cream. The service was prompt and efficient. A helpful tip: there's seating around the corner to unwind and savor the treat.

I am the Events Coordinator at the Maryland SPCA in Baltimore. We asked Captain Cookie & the Milkman to join us at an event and I cannot recommend them enough. Communication was clear leading up to the event, they arrived on time, the customer service was fantastic, and the cookies were warm and DELICIOUS. It was a little chilly outside so I was hesitant to get ice cream, but I’m glad I did, because it was also fantastic. 10/10 experience with them and we hope to partner again.

We had the Captain Cookie truck come serve dessert at our DC wedding and it was so much better than we could have expected. Our guests have been raving nonstop about the delicious ice cream sandwiches and it was the perfect party surprise. Highly recommend!

Wonderful comforting dessert We saw this place on the map and had to check out a restaurant with such a fun name. After dinner elsewhere we wandered back to check out the options for dessert. I selected two cookies and milk and found them delicious and the cookies obviously fresh-made. My wife chose an ice cream sandwich and really enjoyed both the ice cream and the cookies. The staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was delightful. Highly recommended if you’re in the area for a snack or dessert—plus they’re open late.

Generous 1 scoop of butter pecan in a cone. Had to use a spoon. Service was great. Will definitely be on the list for many repeat visits. Hope you guys stay open for a very long time. Stay well!

This place is actually located in the Eastern Market. They have their own “entrance” just west of the Eastern Market entrance, but it’s a much more direct route to go in through the Eastern Market entrance. As for the cookies, I got the ice cream sandwich on chocolate chip cookies. The cookies were too crunchy for an ice cream sandwich resulting in the ice cream coming out the sides as I was eating it. I’m hindsight, I probably should have just tried a couple different kinds of cookies. If you’re looking for soft, melty cookies like I was, I would go somewhere else.

Very nice lady helped us and the cookies were delicious! Only reason I didn’t rate it five stars was because they gave us chocolate milk that had expired the day before. A non-issue for drinking but not really good for a food establishment.

The ice cream is so good, almost like a custard from how rich it is. The cookies are delicious and fresh, and the woman behind the counter was very friendly despite my partner and I coming in so late to order.

I had an amazing experience ordering a large cookie cake for a friend's going away party from Captain Cookie! The cake turned out delicious and beautiful--the decorator obviously put in a lot of time and effort into the cake, which I really appreciated. Will definitely order cakes for events in the future!

Was looking for a dessert place near the national mall and these guys were only five minutes by car! Fresh warm cookies and multiple ice cream choices. You can make a full ice cream cookie sandwich, open faced or just get cookies! If you're looking for dessert late night in DC I highly recommend checking Captain Cookie and the Milkman out!
