Senbeb sits right next to my Barber Shop and I stepped in to grab a bite. My neighbors daughters are vegan and they have been slowly helping me change my eating habits and it's been a very rewarding experience. Any way I get the special of the day Spaghetti with two sides, mine were Mac N Cheese and Potato Salad. It was the best $9.00 I've ever spent. Not only did the taste knock me out, it filled me up. Senbeb is is not only a hidden gem nestled in Ward 4, it's a gathering spot in my community that brings out people of quality in my neighborhood from all walks of life...I will be back...
The people here are always peaceful or joyful and that is a perk to having great food. Best vegan food in DC.

Where do I begin....after patronizing other vegan eat ins in DC for sometime. My husband and I wanted something new but it had to be VEGAN! After looking at a few options we choose Senbeb Cafe and boy are we glad we did! Delicious meal...warm hospitality...and reasonably priced. The food here is made to order and it is so worth the wait. If they were closer to my home I would be a regular customer for sure!

Delicious vegan dishes !!! Very well seasoned and good portions as well as reasonable price. The staff very nice and welcoming. They were out of few things but all the dishes and sides were delicious.
The food was delicious!;I went twice during my weekend stay in DC. Once for dinner, and once for brunch with my mother for mother's day. Mom said those were the best pancakes she has ever had. I agree! The dinner was delicious as well. This is a vegan restaurant with a southern soul food vibe!
This place is a real gem! Such a warm vibe upon walking in, and exceptional service. The food is cooked with love, and you can taste it. I had the vegan crab cakes with collards and plantains. Will definitely be coming back!

Senbeb Cafe is the best Vegan cafe in the DMV. I've been to a number of vegan restaurant in the this area and I've been sadly disappointed by the selections and quality of the meals that I've consumed there. The warm and friendly homelike atmosphere is welcoming. They make special orders to suit your special dietary needs and use fresh ingredients. I love their healthy beverages and desserts as well. Looking forward to my next visit!
The best vegan food in dc. The daily specials are amazing. The juices are fresh. The vegan chicn drummies are disrespectfully good every time.
The sweet lady running it remembers faces and orders so you feel like family, and the natural foods grocery next door is the perfect spot to grab some essentials while your food is getting made! So happy that it's Black Owned AND Woman owned AND a small business!
