Nice sports bar. Service was reasonably quick. 1st time actually having something to eat here. I got the chicken tenders and fries. If you like reallly thick tenders and steak fries this is your place. For me, I like somewhat of a crispy frie and not so big tenders but they were seasoned well just humongous. 3 tenders and fries will run you $22. A bit pricey. Cash price the credit price was a little more.

We got lucky when we stumbled upon this tavern! We sat upstairs were there was a few less people, a beautiful view, stunning bar top and plenty of tv's to see whatever sport you wanted....yes including the bathroom. The food was fantastic! Our service was so kind to give his opinion about different items when we asked. And not a yeah I've never had it but hear it's good, it was a descriptive this is better or that would be my first choice, he was super knowledgeable and very patient with all of the questions. If I come to DC definitely have to come back here! I highly recommend!!! Plus if it wasn't so dang hot there is tons of outdoor seating.

Stopped in for some food before a Capitals game. The outside setup is great for watching games, and even though it was chilly out, the heaters placed all over the patio area made the area plenty warm. Shortly after we sat down, staff came by with menus and waters. We were checked on plenty of times by several different members of staff (thanks again to the gentleman who called me back because I forgot my jacket on the back of the chair!). Everyone we interacted with was super nice. I wish I could say more about the food, but the giant plate of wings my husband and I split were excellent! We definitely look forward to going back when we're in the area again.

Me and a colleague of mine came in here after a long afternoon exploring the city. It was 30c outside and as soon we sat down we were given a glass of ice water, very attentive staff. Waitress was amazing and gave us great food suggestions. She even praised my colleague for eating a plate of wings and not getting any on his white shirt 😅 If I'm ever back in D.C I'll definitely come back here!

Stopped here for a quick lunch. The atmosphere is a casual pub style sports bar, with TVs everywhere including the bathroom. You'll never miss a shot during the game. I had the pulled pork sandwich with Garlic ballpark fries. The sandwich was great and the fries were crisp and flavorful. The staff was kind and courteous. This is great stop with a couple of friends and during March Madness.

This place was very nice and the staff was super sweet but going at 5:30 with my kids on a Friday might not have been my best idea. Very close to the National Gallery. Great place for drinks and food with friends. My kids enjoyed the food, but don't know if I would label this as kid friendly.

This location was bomb! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside cause we were under an umbrella and it was nice and cool out. The service was fantastic and the food was super good! I had basic food which was tenders and fries. The tenders were so crunchy and tender and the fries were so good cause they had garlic on them. I also had the Mac and cheese balls. I was not a fan cause it tasted like the microwave kind but kinda worse.. my friend had the sweet potato burger cause she is vegan and she loved it. My other friend had burger and she also enjoyed it. Overall everything was great.

Stopped here in my DC trip for quick lunch. Staff was very attentive Food came in very fast Food was delicious We had burgers, garlic fries, quesadilla, and a salmon burger I asked if the burger brought pickles and they said yes. When they gave me my bill they charged me $3.95 for pickles which was very disappointing and very expensive. Other than that enjoyed the food and the ambiance. For sports fan that are looking for a place to watch sports and eat good food in DC this is your place! There are TVs everywhere including the bathroom.

After a long day of meetings we get in here. It’s a nice location with good food and a great selection of beer. I take the beer of the week which changes regularly. And the sunny shine up burger was great too. I can recommend both.

They helped us accomplish our mission of grabbing some quick drinks and apps. We were served just as we sat and everything came out with the quickness. Looks like the pitch-perfect (pun intended) place to watch "the game". Plenty of screens. Even "LooTubes" for when their brews break the seal. The Nashville Hot Honey sauce I ordered for my Chicken Wings didn't quite supply the amount of spice I expected, but they had the oven-crispiness that was advertised and I did enjoy them.

Penn Quarter was a typical Sports Bar and Grill which is the only reason I did not offer 5 stars, as I want something that makes it stand out. The food was very good, seating was ample with an area upstairs for our party of six, and plenty of TV’s for game watching. Our server was well versed in their offerings and memorized all of our orders and the quirks for each. I am always impressed by this method but have sometimes been met with a missing item. Not this time. Our server was great. The food was brought out relatively quickly, although there was not a lot of business when we first arrived. Business did pick up a bit but we found we could still comfortably carry on a conversation. After eating, we were offered dessert but found we were too full even though I heard cheesecake. Prices were fair and reasonable for the typical bar/pub experience. The facility was clean and offered an outdoor seating area too but it was close to 98 degrees so we opted for indoor seating. The close proximity to the National Archives and metro make this a great choice to refuel if you are a tourist.

Very good cheesecurds, and that is coming from someone who spent most of his life in Wisconsin. The service was outstanding. The outdoor seating area is great to take in the DC scene and people watch. Thus place is very close to the metro station, which was convenient for our trip into town.

Stopped in for lunch between museum visits. The bartender and the wait staff were so nice and friendly. Had a draft beer and a greed grilled chicken salad My husband had a mahi mahi salad. Both were delicious as there wasn’t any food left on the plate when we were finished.

Yummy food. Great service! Portions were a bit large. The french fries werent the best, but they were ok. The prices are a little high. They need more soft drink selections, like some diet sodas for root beer, dr pepper, orange etc. They dont have any sweet tea. The seating is nice. Lots of tables downstairs and a few upstairs. Restroom only has 1 stall, but it is clean. Restaurant is clean. Lots of tvs. A little noisy. No parking nearby except paid parking.
