It's hard to be objective about my favorite watering hole, but here it goes. Larry's has a friendly staff, generous pours on their cocktails, they're pet friendly, the eclectic crowd can change in a heartbeat, the patio is fun and the people watching at 18th & T is just the best. It really is the neighborhood watering hole �����

As an out-of-towner I thought I would feel conspicuous in a neighborhood bar, but the vibe was stellar. Totally comfortable right from the start. Excellent cocktails and quite a cast of characters at the bar!
What can I say, that's not already been said about this iconic bar in the heart of Dupont. For more than 17 years, and several transitions, it has remained one of my and my friends favorite neighborhood watering holes to frequent.
Always a good time. Superb staff, excellent drinks, and a relaxing atmosphere unlike any other gay bar in DC.

This bar offered a comfortable, welcome experience. It’s clearly beloved to a large group of regulars, many of which brought their adorable dogs.
We had a great time chatting with local regulars and unwinding in a comfortable, safe environment.
Surprisingly, the drinks were not the usual strength expected at most gay bars. Not at all a detractor for us, just worth mentioning if you’re expecting a heavy pour.

This place is Awesomesauce!!! The best drinks, atmosphere, patrons, music...etc. there was even the most beautiful little dog named Sparky. ❤️❤️ BEST bartender Ali. We thank n appreciate them for such amazing service and going out of ur way to serve my friends n I once to then politely & understandingly explained the bar has no table service. MOST WONDERFUL 🌙 IN GEORGETOWN EVER....
But beware gaslighting if u seek Amy!!! So after paying 15-18% tip automatically included all weekend in DC, n now maybe 1 too many drinks I'd given my card to my friend who provided it to the bar. When time came to pay, I stupidly signed while stating the aforementioned n sat back down only to have Amy come outside n thankfully point out if I wanted to tip. So I immediately apologized n went to pay the check with my card n tip cash. When I went inside to do so Amy very abruptly/rudely/ assumingly began to yell at me accusing ME of being rude bcuz I was "going to count money in front of her n that is sooo damn RUDE!" Thankfully Ali stepped in n I was able to explain that, though the cash covers the bill entirely I intend it as a tip for the wonderful service provided n to still charge my card. I hope Ali 🙏🏼 u get all the wonderful things u deserve n we should have more amazing n understanding workers like u in the service industry ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎🖤🩶🤍
I did not have any food, only drinks. I sat outside and there is no table service outside. However, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bartender was nice and served me quickly even though the bar was full. The weather and patrons at the outside tables were very pleasant and the drinks were well made. Recommended.
Flogged by a weakling. Begged for it harder but they refused. On the other side a man was using NLP to try to seduce me. Immune to his charms of course. And met an interesting couple who taught me a bit about spousal privilege and partnership in crime.
Ali was the reason I came. He didn’t disappoint.

Yesterday was my first time ever going to this bar it elwas fun as a typical bar usualy is but the bartender jason was wat dtamped this as a place to revisit he was helping every one and yet my drinks came out fast i never felt like i wasnt seen by him i work in the bars myself and i must say if he was on my team in my bar i ser him bn a huge benifit great service
Larry’s is all about the vibe. It’s a wonderful “hole in the wall” type bar with lovely people and a great no frills approach to the neighborhood bar scene.

Came here with friends and got rum buckets. They were kinda on the smaller side but we were also bar hopping so I'll have to go back to do a review just in this spot when I'm clearheaded

We love Larry’s. We have going here for years when we are in the area. The bartenders are attentive and always a perfect pour. Not to mention it is always clean and inviting.
