Great little bookstore and coffee shop. Drop coffee was quite good. Cappuccino absolutely spot on. Nice Ethiopian menu too.

Coming from MD I miss Ethiopian food so much. Popped in planning just to grab a quick coffee. The latte was one of the best I’ve ever had, and while waiting for my passport I had a delicious veggie sambusa and I will be circling back to get food to take home. Sophie was so welcoming and let me set up shop for 3 hours on a rainy day. Cannot recommend this place enough. Would have posted pics, but I was too busy enjoying everything!

Delicious coffee for my husband and me. Incredible service! The couple in charge of the cafe are so cute and nice. They made a special hot chocolate for my kids, so yummy!

A quaint and delightful coffee shop in Foggy Bottom. Delicious fresh coffee, any coffee drink you need, and good food on offer, too. Awesome place to stop by in 2022. A great stop if you find yourself in the neighborhood.

An institution best the World Bank, this little Ethiopian coffee shop is hands down the best spot for espresso on the go or when you just need a nice spot to sit and rest with your coffee downtown. Highly recommended and always worth a visit when you find yourself in the area.

Great downtown stop for an espresso or cappuccino. This place is warm, welcoming, with tables and benches outside and books inside. You will often hear people speaking in Italian here: a clear sign the espresso are short and strong (as they should be).

Appreciate this cozy warm coffee shop staying open but they’re only serving coffee and the espresso bar, nice to support local business, can’t wait for sambusas to return. Connected to the book store.

I'm a loyal customer for many years. Sophie makes the best coffee in town. The best place for having a good cup of coffee, read a book and chat with friends.

Stellar place Excellent coffee Wifi kinda eh- it's not their own but a local dc network Not much for outlets Indoor/outdoor seating Connected to a quirky specialty bookstore (Reiters) This is a more social setting If you want to hunker down with the laptop I'd suggest one of the many chain coffee shops nearby Run by a team of very friendly and efficient Ethiopian women They carry a light Ethiopian cuisine but were temporarily out of food Near GWU, world bank & IMF
