Pretty good pizza! We got a half a pizza after we saw a show at the Anthem. It was a little to well done and the only had 5 pizza options. But not bad for a late night snack.
This was a last minute dinner stop and we didn't know what to expect. In my opinion a good pizza is a 2 to 1 topping to crust ration and Union Pie knocked it out of the park. It took about 15min to make and was just the right crunchiness. It is more of a thin layered crust but they nailed it. Great spot right by the water as well. Highly highly recommend.
Personally speaking, I liked the food as it satisfied my hunger. The area is also a plus as it is in “The Wharf.” The vegetables were cooked and there is unlimited chili flakes and extra parmesan cheese! 😋😋
We got a half white with chicken and half hot honey pepperoni. So good! Perfect after a late night concert!
This is some of the best gluten free pizza have had. The staff was super helpful and understood about gluten allergies!
Ordered full pie with pep, so tasty very good
Pepperoni and cheese pizza are fast and good. You can grab pizza and sit by the water 🤌.
Fast, hot, and not too greasy. This isn't a stack of pre-made pizzas that they cut slices when you order. They make it all on demand. In short, it made my concert with King Crimson that much better with a full stomach of good, basic pizza in short order.
When it's open, which seems to be weather based, it's a great little quick bite. Love the white pizza or simple pepperoni. Nice to grab a half and sit by the water.
We had drinks and half pizzas while waiting for a show at Union Stage. For sure best white pizza I’ve had with the balsamic and arugula, caramelized onions & ricotta-yum! Hubby had Sweet & Hot and loved it. Honey and Serrano peppers. Loved every bite and reviewing a day later because I’m still thinking about it! Pizza arrived in less than 15 minutes and the bartender was helpful with our pizza decisions too. Will definitely go back!
Really good, pretty fast pizza. The half pie will feed one person and the whole pie can be split between two hungry folks. The service was a bit gruff when we went, but it was hot and they were busy, so I get it. Only outdoor seating and it's limited so if you plan to eat there, try to grab a table in the shade before you order.
When I first tried Union Pie, I was greeted by the most enthusiastic staff ever and I absolutely loved their energy. Charlie is awesome, friendly, and helpful with sweet tips to add to your pizza- for instance he suggested adding honey onto pizza. Like get outta here, who would’ve thought, and it’s SUPER good, especially on the veggie or the cheese and tomato pie.
My second time, wasn’t so pleasant and I do not remember the woman’s name who helped me, however the owner- Luke, was very helpful and invited me back for a third try.
Third time’s the charm, and I saw Charlie again and he made sure I enjoyed my ordering experience as well as making sure my pizza was exactly what I wanted.
The pizza is yummy and the crust is made perfectly. If you live walking distance definitely walk here and give Union Pie a try. If you aren’t in walking distance and want to have a great half or whole pie, totally take the metro, Uber/Lyft, or drive down to the Wharf. You won’t be disappointed.
Prices are great also.
I tried their Hot&Sweet pizza and its one of the best unusual flavors I've had! Waiting time was reasonable too. I'll be back for more!
