The place was not super crowded and there were still options available to take out. The atmosphere was not overwhelming and there were only a few people dining in. There were so many options left for sandwiches and different prices so it took me a long time to decide. So much food looked good. The cashier was quick and efficient in putting the food in a bag.
Thank you for excellent customer service! Every morning when we came in there was Tia with her bright, warm smile greeting us! This made our day. The coffee is very good, the place is clean. Breakfast rolls and the fritatta is very tasty & fresh. Tia always served our food on a little silver tray which was a nice experience. We will be back. Thank you Tia. I appreciate your service!
Great sandwiches. Reminds me of London where they have these shops too.
I work in the building and come here every day. The staff is the nicest and most polite people I have ever met in any food establishment! The food is super fresh, amazing bread, and their coffee is great. I love everything about this place. Marc, the manager does amazing work here! You have a customer for life!
One of the larger Pret A Manger locations and has comfortable, non-distracting seating. Great for working with a laptop. I often drop by and grab the quinoa breakfast bowls (gluten free) and am never disappointed. The rest of their grab-and-go food always looks fresh and delicious. If you become a frequent customer, check out their app too! They have better deals and coupons than most other coffee shops around.
The friendliest staff ever! Will swing by on occasion for a coffee or to grab lunch quickly when I’m in a rush and it never disappoints. Recently popped in for a coffee and received a cappuccino on the house. It made my day (week really)! Thank you and kudos to the barista, the cappuccino was superb!
I love all Prets, but baristas at this location are amazing. They are so nice, always meet you with a big smile. I brought my son here once, and this Pret became his favorite place too. Wonderful service! A+
This is a good location for Pretty. Service is quick and courteous.
Pretty offers a good selection for breakfast and lunch and the serving size is good for a regular meal. Of course this may be on the lake side for Cheesecake Factory aficianados, but is good for the rest of us!
I like their breakfast croissants and coffee.
For lunch, I like their soups and sandwiches.
Good option for a quick grab and go lunch or snack.
Food is wholesome and mostly healthy. Interesting non-alcoholic drink selection. Service can be wanting sometimes as waiters forget to check on you or mess up your order but they always own up to it which is more important. A bit on the pricier side.
Pret is my go to coffee stop during the work week. The coffee is hands down the best in flavor and certainly brewed the strongest between closer competitors. Probably equal to The Coffee Bar drip coffee in taste and quality but I think TCB is a tad more expensive. The staff at Pret are awesome they've always been super helpful and nice which makes my stops more pleasant. Also, free coffee after 9 stamps! I don't like Prets food - way too much sodium and far too expensive. The rating is for the beverages and staff.
A definitely 5 star review a must to go place. I’ve been vegan/vegetarian toggling back n forth for 3 months now and PRET has been my best friend! The Marroccan Lentil soup, falafel hot wrap, quinoa fruit almond butter desert and more keeps my cravings at bay and lunch/dinner satisfaction @100%! Really good. Thank you. Ohhhh not to forget the Thai Curry and tomato soup really good.
Shutout to the staff here. Not only do they smile and chat up customers, but they work hard and you can tell that they care. The staff is really what makes this location stand out, since there are hundreds of places around D.C. of a similar quality with similar prices, but not many have such kind employees.
Quite a few stores down town and the one on M street is convient to me. It's on a corner and has a wide side walk with a place to park my bike or scooter. It'd bright spacious and clean. It's has lots of normal coffee in thermos along one wall. Light, dark and decaffeinated all the usual milks and creams. The opposite wall is sandwiches and soups and interesting things like cheese and colliflour etc. Good breads. Infront is the counter where you can get pastries and expresso and latte, tea etc. The shop opens up to areas to sit at table and beach like seats along one wall. Big windows offer views of street activity. There are two well appointed spacious bathrooms. You need a code from the counter to access. A place to eat a good sandwich and coffee and read your book for a while. They point out that at the end of the day what food is unsold is given to charity or homeless. It's a nice sanctuary in walking distance of lots of down town.
Located in various sites around Washington DC, and elsewhere, they offer relatively affordable, wholesome and fresh quick and easy food. They are my go-to for lunch especially.
One demerit for the obnoxiously loud and limited choice of music in most DC locations . For those of us north of 45, blaring hip-hop doesn't cut it, nor the techno-flavored offerings. More variety and yes, something from the golden era of music - the 20th century- would round this place out. Otherwise it's too self-consciously "hip" and overly brash and modern. Nothing mellow
ever? All millenial, all the time? It certainly may get people in and out fast.
Love this place. Always convenient and with so many great healthy options. Never had a bad experience at a Pret. The service at this particular location is also fantastic.
