First visit… Teriyaki Steak with Broccoli for lunch with stir-fry rice and carrots as the side dish. Great value and a wonderful meal… I was very surprised.
Can’t wait to try the Teriyaki Chicken Sticks with Stir-fry noodles.

Food was really good and nice portions too. The scallops were cooked perfectly. There was a bit of wait but not bad considering it was 1 lady doing all of the front of house. She was nice and I never saw her stop once. Overall a great experience.
The service was amazing, we got served as soon as we got seated. The wait time wasn't rediculous, and the food was so good! The shrimp was so flavorful. And, the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend going!
The menu is very limited and not exactly the Japanese food I was expecting. They no longer offer sushi and do not have many of the staples of many Japanese restaurants. That said, the food is very good, the staff is friendly, and the portions are a good size. Will eat there again.
The food is good the shrimp sometimes is over cooked Some of the servers are very rude but overall I really like to place. is a little pricey when you add a couple things to your meal but it's worth it.

We love it! We eat there almost all week. The girls do a great job at attending guests. Always have a smile and know what we are getting already. 😊
I love Akai Japan!!! It is so good. The hibachi is amazing and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the steak hibachi! White sauce is also very good. Service is great!

This was my first time trying Akai Japan, and I loved it! Their sushi is reasonably priced, and delicious!! We tried their chicken and steak lunch special. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the staff was so friendly. Our waiter was very patient with us as it was our first time. He offered recommendations, and was very courteous! The environment is very relaxing!
Cheap appetizers with good portions. Pretty good. Bathrooms could be cleaner. We found an old menu online, but they no longer do sushi.
The portions were huge and very flavorful. The staff was fantastic. I had the steak and shrimp with fried rice. My wife had the chicken and shrimp with fried rice. We both had carrots that were cooked to perfection.

Food is great and the service is great. Of they had sushi more often there would be a five star rating. That and I don't think the temps of the steaks are known by the chef.
