Really good Korean fried chicken. Think it’s one of the better ones I’ve had since Asia. Prices are reasonable. Portions of chicken are generous. One thing I would like though is if the 10 pc, for example, could be split 5 and 5 of different sauces. Or even just 5 plain and 5 of a sauce. Shouldn’t be a lot to ask for. Other than that, really enjoyed the food. The paper plates were interesting as well.
The wings are very good. The cheesy fries to me were a little wierd but worth the try.
5/5! Excellent customer service — friendly, helpful, and speedy. The tables were clean, water tasted great, and the food was spectacular. We ordered galbi, spicy chicken, and honey garlic for chicken — juicy, tender, flavorful meat! We demolished the chicken, rosé rice cakes, and kimchi fried rice.

A really cool spot! Had it for the first time today and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was so tasty and very flavorful. Portion sizes are nice and definitely filling. We ordered it as takeout and the packaging is very neat and unique in my opinion, so cool. Definitely one of my new spots to order out from, would recommend to people who want to have some tasty chicken!

The chicken was tasty, however, it's a bit of a nuisance that the smallest amount of chicken you can buy is a 10 piece. EVERY fried chicken place in the world have 2+ chicken combos. No 1 person can eat 10 pieces of chicken in 1 setting, true, the chicken can be taken home, however, for out of towners (which they get a lot of) can not. They should serve combos like other spots, they'll make more money.
Update: ok, so after driving from Chicago back to Michigan, I realized a few things. 1. The "wings" weren't wings, they were actually wing dings, and the thought of eating 10 wings just for myself was outrageous, however, I am kicking myself, because I could have totally eaten 10 of those wing dings. I got the chicken around 1145 am, got home close to 8pm, and those buggers were still crunchy, yes CRUNCHY. I popped them in the air fryer and they were DELICIOUS. Best wing dings I've ever eaten in my life! Get the 10 wing dings, you will eat every one. I got the Galbi spicy 😋. Even the pickled radishes were fresh and delicious. 5 out of 5 for me, and I dont even like chicken like that.
was up north about 40 minutes from home and tried this place in a whim and I was not disappointed. The size of the chicken is perfect (not to small and fairly big.) great flavors and great chicken. Sides are really good and so is the customer services. Highly recommend and would definitely make the drive back.
I love Korean food! Somehow they have learned the ancient secret to a perfect fried chicken 🍗 with a juicy crunch. I enjoyed the kimichi fried rice along with spicy wings. At this point I think the chef and my grandma were in the same sandbox kitchen 🤔
We tried the kimchi rice, fried pot stickers, and about 6 flavors of chicken wings. The rice was mediocre, glad we tried it though. Pot stickers were not good, very dry and little flavor. Chicken was exceptionally good. Perfectly prepared with the crispy outer and moist inside with fresh flavored and quality. Our fav was the Honey Garlic, followed by the Mala and Galbi. Did not like their version of Soy Garlic or Gangnam. Overall very good.
Absolutely delicious. We were so impressed of how well each flavor came through. The wings were perfectly crunchy yet never over cooked on the inside. The portions and prices were good. But those flavors!!!! Oh my goodness those flavors!!! We would seriously eat this every night 🤣🤣🤣

First time at this location. We ordered the gang-jeong boneless wings, and honey garlic wings. Gang-Jeong was pretty good, honey garlic was ok. Wings were crispy and sauced perfectly. The pickled radish is also very good.
We ordered different flavors (secret spicy, hot spicy, Gangnam style, and soy garlic).
Definitely recommend this place.

BEST chicken place in town! I have tried a lot of their chicken, both boneless and wings. What I love about their chicken is that they are super crispy but not oily. They have the perfect balance of sweet, savory and umami.
These are the flavors I've tried so far:
WINGS:
*BB Wings - my husband's #1 favorite; simple golden crispy fried chicken wings; reminds us of Jollibee Chicken Joy so if you're a fan of that, you'll definitely love this.
*Soy Garlic Wings - definitely a must-try; perfect balance of salty, sweet garlicky flavors
*Gangnam Style Wings - I love this too! Salty, sweet, spicy, umami wings; if you like a little spice, order this.
*Wings of Fire - MY ULTIMATE FAVORITE; perfect spice level for me; and it's not just spicy... It also packs a wonderful burst of umami flavor; definitely a must-try
BONELESS:
*Golden Original - this is legit; simple, golden fried boneless thighs; they're super crispy yet very juicy inside; this one reminds me of KFC spicy crispy chicken without the spice
*Gang-Jeong - similar taste with Gangnam Style Wings but boneless version; just a little kick of spice to make things exciting
*Cheeseling - my least favorite among all flavors I've tried so far (probably because it's not spicy), but still pretty good; crispy fried boneless chicken dusted with sweet salty cheese powder; at first it's just okay but the more you eat it, the more you'll like (at least that's my experience lol)
BONUS: they make their own pickled radish, which is by far the best one I've tried. I already tried a homemade version following some recipes I googled, as well as store-bought ones, but they weren't as good as the pickled radish from BBQ Chicken.
This chicken is so delicious and fresh!!!! I tried it one time and actually craved it the next day and had to go back!!! The chicken itself is fresh and crunchy! Absolutely delicious!!! The garlic soy is my favorite!!! I also tried the kimchi fried rice with cheese. The flavor was amazing. A bit heavy on the sesame oil but still delicious!!! I am soooooo happy that there is one closer to my house! I recommend this place!!! If you like crunchy fresh flavorful chicken this is your place!!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Food was good. I recommend you call your order in advance. There is a hefty wait. Would've been 5 stars had I got my food within 20 mins. But will I eat from them again? Sure! I got the secret spicy boneless. Not too hot slight tingle.

The chicken and wings are delicious and amazing. I tried the original chicken and secret spicy chicken half and half. It was delicious!! The soy sauce wings are great also. Get a side of kimichi fried rice with cheese. Loved it. The flavor profiles are on point. I am so glad in Waukegan there is a great Korean style fried chicken place. Everyone must try. Have a side of pickled radish to enhance the chicken flavor. A must to get some chicken and wings. Authentic and original. The bb.q chain is world famous. I am amazed its in Lake County. Go get some and have beer ready...!
