Stayed at the hotel nearby and didn’t want to go too far to eat. Got the beef and chicken bourbon combo. Was offered some hot sauce, which looked like chili flakes in oil, so asked for two to go.
The good:
They had some chicken that was cooked already (probably the most commonly ordered item) so they just had to heat it up on the flat top. The beef was cooked fresh. Both were still hot though for the few minutes that I had to drive back to the hotel (in 20F weather).
The portion was very good. Probably big enough for an adult and a child or a very hungry adult.

The chili oil turned out to be not very spicy at all. It looks like the traditional Asian hot chili oil with actual chili flakes inside. However, it was not spicy even when I put both tubs on the food.
I also think they use too much oil to cook the beef. It was swimming in oil at the bottom of the container. There was so much oil that the rice couldn’t even pick it all up.
Overall, I think it is an okay place to get some decent food and a good portion size. Would be better if the food didn’t have so much oil.
The dining area was impeccably clean and taken care of. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was as expected for the price and for this type of fast-serve restaurant. I've also had catered food from here for work events. That was excellent, much better than most catered food.
Our favorite dish here is Bourbon Chicken. It's always a large portion & great value & also very tasty! Limited inside seating & no public bathroom but you can always order & come pick up at their drive-thru window. Staff has always been very courteous!
LOVE THE FOOD HERE AND THEY ARE SUPER FAST!!!
Timeless classic Wausau comfort food. Best bourbon chicken recipe in the Midwest and fair prices. Don’t skip the chili garlic sauce.
The sushi was really good and much fancier and better quality than what you would expect from a counter order restaurant like this! The bourbon chicken was good and a sizable amount but not unlike the chicken you get at most mall food courts.
A complete surprise being so much better than expected. Flavor is the key and from the first bite, it really was a meal and 1/2. Even the rice provided was Flavored, not just a scoop of plain white rice. Don't trust Google maps, it will mislead u. Located just west of the BP gas station.
