We tried Cork & Keg today for the first time for Mother's Day brunch and had a wonderful time. We were greeted by the cutest little boy who handed me a flower. Their brunch was delicious! I enjoyed my biscuits and gravy but my daughter's french toast was soooo good! Portions are BIG! I highly recommend trying them out.

Great experience and a wonderful menu. Pork chop is out of this world. I'd put the red fish up against anywhere else. Only complaint is that the Old Fashioned I ordered used 'regular' bar ice and had a marichino cherry. Hopefully they can get some craft ice and proper cherries next time we visit.

The new owners Executive Chef Carlos and partner and wife Sarah have really left their mark... in the best way possible. The menu is excellent. We had the crab cakes and mussels for apps and Shimp & Grits amd the Roasted Chicken. Yum, yum, yum... and go. This charming restaurant and engaging staff can't be missed!

Came for the first time and enjoyed it.. We are low carb so the food options are very limited here which is the biggest complaint.. the bacon wrapped shrimp were really nice, shrimp cooked to perfection but bacon not very crispy but still good. The filet was tasty and the sauces that came with it were delicious.. the foie gras on top was delicious but was pretty small it was hard to get some with every bite. The bartender said she was new and didn't know how to make any drinks so needless to say the cocktails are not as good as i would prefer but still decent.. i have a pretty high bar for those and the food as well. We also had the special, the caprese salad, and it was beautiful but could have used more sauce and the tomato had no salt so not much flavor.. The bartender was very nice and helpful, just not trained properly.

Updated closing times: The kitchen closes 1-hour prior to their posted closing time. We arrived at 9:05 pm on a Saturday, website says 10 pm closing. We could not order food and the staff mentioned they’ve been doing this early kitchen close recently. So in actuality, they close at 9 pm on Saturday ——————- One of the best food places. I live in Dallas but visit my ranch in Waxahachie on the weekends. This restaurant is someplace we regular. Top notch menu. However, be prepared for awfully bright indoor lighting and poor ventilation. Ambiance and lack-luster service shouldn’t deter you because the food is well worth it.
