The food at Margaret Kuo's - Wayne is absolutely delicious! It has a lovely ambience, friendly staff, and excellent service. Our orders were taken promptly and the amazing food arrived quickly as well.
I loved the Taiwanese rice bowl with minced pork sauce (卤肉饭) and Taiwanese beef noodle soup (桃源街牛腩面). They were flavorful and authentic, making me quite nostalgic of my many trips to Taiwan. The flaky beef sesame pocket (牛肉夾餅) was also very tasty, and the pork soup dumplings (上海小笼包) were full of flavor and soup, reminiscent of my favorite NYC soup dumplings.
I would highly recommend Margaret Kuo's. I will be back again!
The ambiance and the dim sum was amazing! Highly recommend the dan dan noodles, spring rolls, alllll the dumplings and the service was great! Would come here again and try more but we were so full from the dim sum, we had to tap out.
So good. Visited last night for my second time. Got around to trying the sushi during this visit as well 🔥.
It was a great dinner. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service blew us away. Our waiter had us dying with laughter the whole night.
Things to order: (and share)
Sesame Beef Pocket
Soup Dumplings ( both types)
Simple Sushi Rolls ( salmon avocado & tuna avocado where well priced and delicious)
Taiwan Fried Rice (sausage is sooo tasty)
Short rib with mushroom
Peking Duck
Can't wait to go back and try the entire menu!
Best known Chinese food on the mainline for good reason! Worth a visit for the decor and architectural elements inside alone. The Peking duck is always great and the moo shu vegetables are incredible. Love the ambiance and service is great. They serve cocktails, wine and beer with plenty of options
I brought my significant other here for an early Valentines Day dinner. We had never been here before and were pleasantly surprised. When we walked in an older gentleman checked our reservation and asked if we prefer to eat Chinese or Japanese food. Based on some light googling and reading their website, we had walked in already pre determined to eat Japanese. Based on the pricing and menu items the Japanese section seemed a bit more high end and that's what we wanted. We were shown to the upstairs section where the Japanese food is exclusively served. The seating area was elegant and the bar was sharp. Chefs preparing fresh sushi could be seen working at their station. We ordered an appetizer to split, entrees and dessert. Throughout the evening the same older gentleman who showed us to our table checked in with us probably three different times, we assumed he's also the manager. He even brought us tiny flowers as a nice touch. The food was well portion controlled and delicious! At first I thought I'd leave hungry but surprisingly felt perfectly full and content by the time the bill came. Japanese dishes are priced from mid $20s to high $30s for single service. The also had options for meal service for two. Over all I'd be happy to return again and highly recommend! Looking forward to see what the Chinese section has to offer!
Great option for Chinese food, and I appreciate the extensive menu, especially the Chinese menu. Service is on the slow side, though, and they tend to be sauce-heavy, which is not my favorite style of cooking.
Wanted to give this place a try. I pretty much ordered everything in the specialty rolls menu starting from TNT and down. These pieces are much larger than what I’m used to, so order accordingly. Moderate value for the portion sizes. I would order from here again. Delivery was fast and friendly.
