Good atmosphere, generous portions. Eaten here several times and never disappointed.
First time here and I am a huge fan. The setup is cool. You get in line, pick out your food, then pay at the register. You can then take your food to go or seat yourself. The restaurant is in a really cute house. The food is excellent. The ladies working the front are very friendly and the place is clean. They were packed when my husband and I got here but we got through in no time. They’re packed because this place is awesome. Would definitely come here regularly if I could!
The food was really good. Ordered ribs, hash and rice with green beans. Wife had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese. Both came with cornbread "pancakes". My son ordered a cheese burger with fries. Every bit of it was good. The staff was incredibly kind. It's amazing the way they treated us having never seen us before. I love meeting nice people when we travel and these were some of the nicest.
Food was delicious as always - staff that helped was not pleasant due to it being almost closing- had attitude when I ordered burger- and kept eyeing me the rest of the time I was in there - very uncomfortable due to this, then we were told that we couldn't eat in dining room bc they closed that at 7:30 - so my family of 4 prepared to leave and 2 other guys sat at the table we had and weren't told they had closed the dining room. The food is great, and normally service is incredible, but I was disappointed this time.
This place was crowded. And for good reason..The food is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME here. The plates are LOADED with food, with lots of choices to pick from. Some of the best food I have had from a restaurant in a long time. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often. It's was Crowded but, everyone was taken care of quickly, and just as fast as they got everyone taken care of, here comes another crowd of people. You ABSOLUTELY MUST try this place. Best Food Around for Miles and everyone was very nice and Friendly. I promise, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Do your self and your stomach a favor, get on down to Taylors and grab you some of this DELICIOUS FOOD. Thank you bestie for taking me.
I live 30 miles away and I love this place. Country cafeteria. Excellent food, fast service, reasonable prices and nice people.
