Absolutely phenomenal! We went to Kandi's and had her make my mother's wedding cake. She and her team did a fantastic job! They worked with our special requests and made the cake absolutely stunning! They matched our theme perfectly and made the icing flowers that my mother requested pop! I'm not even sure how they got them to do that! Even when I called and asked for added macarons they made a beautiful plate for us! We were so so very pleased. Thank you guys so much for making the beautiful centerpiece of our celebration
Hands down the best cranberry muffin I have ever had! It was so moist and flavorful with an orange glaze on top. My only regret was not taking a picture of the beautiful thing BEFORE I ate it! . The bakery smells like heaven when you walk in. Will definitely be coming back!
Best bakery in town! I can't believe I'm just now writing a review after years of being a customer. The cream horns are perfection, the danish are delectable. Really, everything here is excellent. Your waistline will not thank you, but you'll love every bite!
LOVE their danishes- my whole family is obsessed!! I always swing by when I visit. We will even freeze them and take them back home on the plane! You simply must visit if you have a sweet tooth :)
We were visiting the area for the weekend and celebrating a friend's birthday, so I asked if Kandi's could do "something with cheesecake and brownies." We ended up with a beautiful cheesecake topped with brownie crumbles and chocolate and caramel drizzle. It was an exceptional cheesecake and not too rich or heavy. I also appreciated how eager they were to create something custom with just two days' notice, and flexible when I needed to change the pickup time. Highly recommend!

Great variety of pastries! The bars and danishes were excellent. The bars are cut small, so get at least two. The cream horn was sickly-sweet, I didn’t realize it’s a buttercream filling.

Lovely staff! They offer lots of delicious pasteries, cakes and more... Lemon bars are amazing and the vanilla cupcakes taste so much better then your average cupcake from a grocery store bakery. The cupcakes reminded me of my favorite cupcakes in Gatlinburg at gigi's cupcakes- the wedding cake cupcake from gigi's is what kandi's vanilla cupcakes taste like! So yummy! You have to try!
Seriously can’t say enough good things about this place! We love stopping in for treats, but they have made our son’s custom birthday cakes the past 2 years and the cakes have been perfect. They have matched his theme and made the cakes look identical to his themed shirt. We always get compliments on the cake and everyone asks where it is from! The customer service is also amazing. Kandi’s is easily the best bakery around.

Stumbled up on this basket while visiting Waynesville. We got this entire box of goodies for less than 10 dollars. Very tasty and reasonable. They have a large selection of sweetness!

The cake was reminiscent of the old Whitman’s bakery, which was special and nostalgic for my daughter since we used to get birthday cakes there when she was little.
So excited to stop after our visit to Maggie Valley. Just a few minutes away. Wonderful selection of pastries, cookies, and pies. We came out with boxes of assorted pastries and deserts!
I was craving a date bar, I had not had one in years. I stopped in and was so glad they had some. They were amazing. There was so much more inside the store. Al kinds of sweets. Everyone should check it out
Came from out of town for my wife's birthday and ordered this gorgeous cake that tasted as good as it looks! Also while we were in picking up the cake we tried the pastries and they're to die for! Danish, bear claws, turnovers, everything we got was incredible and I couldn't be happier we found this place. Next time we're in Waynesville or Asheville I will make sure to come back!
