Delicious sandwiches for an affordable price (relative to other prices in town)! We stopped here for a quick lunch to have the pesto chicken and “paul revere” sandwiches - they were very tasty. Can’t wait to come back!
Great healthy food selections! Service was fast and efficient. But smiles do go a long way. Better seating arrangement could have been designed. Definite drawback was the porta potty. Seemed to be enough space for an inside restroom. The yard behind the business was also flooded.
Box Lunch has been a favorite of mine since I was a little kid. I haven't been in a long time, but it's just as good as I remember. My all-time favorite is Porky's Nightmare. They ran out of Durkees, so I subbed for honey mustard, and it was still delicious! (I also like the Round Up.) Also, wicked friendly staff even when it was sweltering outside!
Perfect spot to stop for a quick lunch. Huge wraps that taste delicious 😋 One member had the Chicken Corn Chowder and said it was the best he's ever had.
We have been fans since Day 1 and go as often as we can. Sandwiches are freshly made and consistently excellent. Cathy always greets you with a smile!
Love all the sandwich options here! We got a turkey and a chicken sandwich. Edit: came back again and got another turkey sandwich and a brownie. Great service.
Good sandwiches for a good price! Wish they had some outdoor seating or something. The phone is busy a lot and they get a bit snippy if you try to walk in and order

Whatever the illustrious Earl of Sandwich was doing when he conjured up his iconic lunch staple, it's self-evident he'd be pleased with what this Box Lunch is dishing. On a recent balmy Saturday in January, for example, my wife and I sauntered over to this cozy shop just east of Main Street. Inside, we were quickly struck by its cleanliness and efficiency - plus popularity. Clearly, the Box Lunch's hefty menu has an avid following; and takeouts are a big part of it. But our timing was fortunate and a quaint table beckoned. For a starter, we shared a steamy home-made clam chowder loaded with diced spuds and real clams, a cup that'd keep a member of Captain Ahab's crew satisfied. Next, we opted for a warm roll-up, the Wild Turkey, two portions stuffed with turkey, mild onions, Swiss cheese and avocado, all in a light savory sauce. Then we opted to save our fresh desserts - a rich, super-moist brownie and a broad chocolate chunk (chip) cookie. All yummy and prepared with care and delectable ingredients.
I promise you'll leave happy!

Our favorites are porky's nightmare, porky goes Hawaiian, the gilded lobster and lobster my way! Their clam chowder is also delicious and they have a great selection of drinks to grab! We love you guys!
Been going to box lunch for 27 years with my family and over the years had different dietary restrictions. Box lunch always had options I could eat. They offer gluten free wraps which I wish more places would. Also great vegan and vegetarian options. Love this place I crave it all year and look forward to the summers going to cc to get wraps!!
Excellent attention to food allergies. Took my egg and wheat allergies very seriously and did not hesitate to look up ingredients on every item, no eye rolls, just compassionand patience. Packaged allergen free sandwich in an entirely separate bag. Can't say how much this means to us, one mistake could be tragic. Gluten free wraps were typical, inside wrap Ingredients were fresh and serving size ws good. Appreciate the phone ordering system
In the morning we call in an order to pickup on the way to the beach. Can't go wrong!

You just can't go wrong here. Order by phone from their extensive menu and pick it up in no time. They have a wide variety of wraps and my go-to is the Jaws (roast beef, horseradish, LTO & cheese)

The food was great and it’s super convenient for a quick, affordable meal to take to the beach. The only issue we have is inconsistent bills. We have gotten the same two sandwiches multiple times and have always been charged a different amount (sometimes under and sometimes over). Definitely still recommend this classic lunch restaurant.
We love this place!! Kathy and her team make the most creative and DELICIOUS "Rollwiches!!". The homemade Clam Chowder is FULL of clams, and has yummy potatoes, corn and ham in it!! Kathy is a hands-on, wonderful owner, and we look forward to coming here twice a year from Long Island!!
