Some friends took us out to Double B's BBQ ,it was crowded but we didn't have to wait long. I had the smoked pork, my husband the brisket.,our friends both ordered the combo meals. Everything was finger-licking-great.Our waitress Kate was a happy bundle of fun and helped answer all our questions. Then to our surprise the owner came around and talked to the customers. What a fantastic place I would recommend it and will be back.
The best service I’ve ever had, even accommodated a weird request, best ribs I’ve had in a restaurant, the corn bread was perfect, the coleslaw has a hint of apple very interesting, the mashed potatoes were top notch. If you love meat and the fixings, you need to eat here.

Absolutely my favorite bbq joint. I go to double b’s everytime im in Milwaukee. There is so much good stuff on there menu it’s always a challenge for me to chose what I want. I would definitely recommend you give this place a shot. I’ve been to Milwaukee 3 times and been to double b’s 4 times and will probably end up a number 5 before I leave town.
It was an interesting start when I called for a reservation but when we showed up it was an incredible experience. Our waitress, Teagan, was hospitable and really good at her job. The BBQ sauces were sinfully delicious and the brisket was perfectly tender and drool worthy. Service was so quick! We maybe waited 15 minutes tops for 5 different meals. Overall very happy with our experience and cannot wait to go back. Only recommendation is get yourself a bigger space, you’re food will definitely pay the bills. Keep doing great things!
If it was possible to give 10/5 stars I would. My wife and I used Timber's Catering service for our wedding this April, and it was AMAZING. The staff was incredible and very helpful and patient with our crowd of hungry people. Every piece of food they provided was cooked to perfection, and we still have guests talking about how delicious the food was. Recommend this place to everyone, we will be coming back again!
We came in on a random Wednesday evening, found it to be crowded but we didn't have to wait for a table. We ordered drinks and food then a gentleman brought us some wings we didn't order. We were protesting the order when he mentioned it was free wing Wednesday! We loved our food! It was great! Smoky and rich in flavor!

I am pretty skeptical of BBQ places, but I can say that I haven’t enjoyed a meal as much as I did at Double B’s in a really long time. The kielbasa was delicious, and the wings were so tender. The garlic aioli was delicious. My husband loved the brisket and I found the mashed potatoes to be awesome. I don’t even like corn bread, but it was amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try the chicken and jalapeño dip!
Great service and great food! Every table was full of satisfied customers! The owner even stopped by several times to see how we were doing! The only thing that could make it better would be having craft beers on tap!

1st experience was GREAT ! Could smell the BBQ about a block away, place was fairly busy, but seated right away. Really like the décor in the place, felt very Down South, and Yes JD was represented with several signs. Server was very Friendly and explained in detail the food & drinks. Food was OUTSTANDING, I had the baby back ribs....dry rub & you choose the sauce to put on at the table. Bacon Balls were great also...But can anything with Bacon be bad ? :)
Wings as an appetizer were done to perfection. Shared a rib and meat platter with my son. Beans as a side. Everything had amazing flavor and all the sauces we tried were great. My only gripe would be the ribs seemed a bit small. The waitress Jennifer was on point the entire time even though she seemed to be the only one working. Will definitely be coming back in the future.
The service was amazing. The food was soooooo good. It had that tasty smoke flavor and all the BBQ sauces they give you is great. You can try each one if you wanted! There's so much on the menu I'd like to try.
The most delicious food you could ask for! We hired Timbers Catering for our wedding and everything was hands down delicious! Everyone at our wedding raved about how good the food was: from the juicy brisket to the savory baked beans and mashed potatoes to the super fun mac n' cheese bar we had, they did it all. Not only is their food amazing, but the team behind it all is absolutely incredible to work with! They also do an incredible job with the food displays - they turn out beautiful!
The staff is super nice and the food is good. I would say great, except today was not. The chili was super salty, ribs were burnt, not to a crisp, but enough to hurt the flavor. The fry portion for the full rack of ribs was skimpy.

As a vegetarian with a meat loving partner, I was excited to see a veggie burger on a bbq menu. The veggie burger is a black bean pattie. It was pretty good, but not my favorite. The sides were amazing. The macaroni and cheese is a must have.
They have nice outdoor seating and seemed to follow good covid procedures. Service was a bit slow. Would definitely try again.
I called for delivery the staff was very courteous when the driver came she was so nice and professional and the food!!! Delicious burger cooked perfectly and the ribs and pulled pork delicious as well I wish we had this place in my home city Racine because I’ll definitely be a returning customer and also the sauce was great!!!! From dining in to takeout to catering Double B's has never disappointed a single time. Everything is always fresh, hot and tastes incredible. There is not a single bad thing on the menu! Best BBQ in all of Milwaukee, don't even bother going somewhere else. The outdoor patio has great ambience and we love eating out there!
We had the double B burger and it was amazing. Large burger with your choice of brisket or pork on top. Soooo good. Staff was friendly and had good speedy service.
