Nice Scandinavian vibe in the restaurant setting, delicious veggie balls that are vegan friendly, as well as the Vintersaga beverage. Mixed vegetables and rice had a strongish frozen flavor to them.
I highly recommend the Ikea restaurant, completely underrated in everyone's eyes. Delicious, variety, healthy, unhealthy 😉, options, amazing drinks, salads, desserts, you name it. As someone that is very passionate about their Swedish heritage absolutely love this place
They have nice and very well organized food court in top of the IKEA building at West Chester, OH ..Very close distance from i75 and restaurant is clean and nice. Comfortable seats, family areas, affordable menu items, varieties of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food selection, little bit crowded specially on weekends and holidays. Overall very good! Highly recommended!
Ikea restaurant was pretty nice. Have some good premade menu meals/dishes but can hand pick items yourself. The quantity & size can be ehh, doesn't really fit the price so perhaps a bit overpriced. Can get more quantity & quality for the same amount. It can be a bit confusing on where to enter from since once you finish exploring , you get the option to eat or go downstairs, but the entrance to get in line would be across by the beverage machine.
Some nice sitting area across the large windows that overlook the parking lot & more sitting near the register after paying.
Store was clean and organized well. We went to their restaurant for the first time and I am pleasantly surprised. I got the Swedish meatball kid’s meal because it was too late for lunch and too early for dinner. My husband got a full size order - neither of us had eaten, yet. The meatballs had a good texture and were flavorful. The green beans were tender with a fresh taste. The mashed potatoes were not bad just didn’t stand out. What appeared to be cranberry sauce was actually lingonberry sauce. It was VERY good; a sweet berry taste, just like cranberry without the tart. We each got a dessert; my husband got the apple “pie” and I chose a chocolate layered-looking dessert (don’t remember the name). The were both very good; unfortunately, I forgot to take a pic. We added two sodas to our meal - try the lingonberry soda, you won’t regret it. The total was a little over $18. Just about any fast food restaurant would have cost about the same without the quality.
They had a variety of choices; chicken tenders, salmon, mac n cheese, chicken wrap and salads (all I can think of off the top of my head) - most came in kid’s meal sized servings.
The Ikea Restaurant in West Chester Township exceeded my expectations during my first visit. The cleanliness and self-service system were impressive. I opted for the Swedish meatball meal, and the delicious texture and flavor of the meatballs delighted me. They cooked the green beans to a tender texture and gave them a fresh taste, while they perfected the mashed potatoes.. The lingonberry sauce stood out as the highlight of the meal. The staff were friendly and provided helpful suggestions, reminiscent of a university cafeteria. Overall, dining at Ikea's restaurant was a pleasant surprise with its clean environment, tasty food, and attentive staff.
Maiden Voyage thru an IKEA. Had a blast! Had lunch in the eatery...Tasty. I just wish there were more people to help on the floor. We needed help in the carpet area and could not find anyone that worked there to help us! Other than that...What a fun place! Will definately be back...
If I'm going to Cinci, the best trips will include IKEA lunch 😂 This is basically a delicious, well priced meal and the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. Somehow simple and comforting, their restaurant always makes me happy 😊
Overall good experience. Small selection of for to choose, though the quality was great! Vegetarian options are available as well. Staff was friendly. Conveniently located at the exit so you can have a bite to eat when you're finished shopping!
My first time to visit the store. I love the examples of rooms they have. They have great ideas!
It was OK. I think it got hyped up way too much for me. Clean, easy to get your food and seated. View of the parking lot crowds is kinda nice. I ordered the meatballs with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Broccoli was cooked well. Meatballs are good. Just everything was kinda bland. Should have brought in seasoning for the sides. Cranberry sauce was tasty though.
Very limited hot menu options but still some excellent basic fare that tastes good yet not too unhealthy - our fav so far is the chicken tenders (better than KFC which is drenched in oil yet not as tasty) & the meatballs (who doesn't love meatballs). We also like their offerings like sandwiches, salmon options and desserts but I don't think those prices are worth it for cold items.
A big plus is if you have a free Ikea membership, you get diff discounts on most food items + some really good unlimited coffee for free daily (let then know if it's not hot and they'll poor a fresh batch on).
Only reason I took away a star is because it's very crowded unless you get there on weekdays - though it's not Ikea's fault (or maybe it is for being so good :) ). So really this is 5 stars for weekdays and 3 stars for weekends.
