Great hole-in-the-wall pizza shop. If you are tired of chain pizza this place gives you a genuine hand tossed New York style pizza - a rarity in our town. I tried the pizza by the slice to try it out and ended up bringing the whole family a few days later. The kids usually can't agree on food but everyone gave it an enthusiastic thumbs up! It costs a bit more but I think it's a good trade for quality pie.
Pizza is great. Occasionally too many dough bubbles, but the sauce, cheese and crust are excellent! Reminds me of when I lived in Northern NJ. Pizza on every corner! In Ohio, this is one of a very few NY and NJ pizza places in the seesaw! Worth it!

My new "go to" pizza place. It's tough to find edible pizza in these parts. Our first try for Fratelli's gave us a non-greasy, NY crust style pie. Sauce was good but not too sweet (like the horrible La Rosas). Toppings fresh. The reheat factor was superb as the pizza was almost better the next day. Many of the pizza we've tried lately won't even survive a day in the frig due to the grease and ends up a limp mess. Good stuff...we will be back.
This is a great pizza with an authentic crust and homemade sauce. It is real New York style pizza! We all love it:)

Thinking You're in NY. This pizza is simply the best there is. I'm not a native New Yorker, but I've been there enough to know that this pizza will stack up against any pizza place in NY or NJ, so it is especially nice that we have a pizza of this caliber in Cincinnati. Honestly, I've tried most pizza places in the Cinci & northern Kentucky. I've found a few good places, but none this good, or especially none that can do NY style correctly.
Besides the great pizza, I have to mention how good the spaghetti sauce is. The meatball parm is great, but the sausage parm is amazing! They slice rope sausage sideways, sauté it in a pan with onions and green peppers. Add cheese and a toasted bun. It's truly astounding. Salads are made with romaine rather than the cheep iceberg lettuce. The dressings are made from scratch. I love the Italian, but my kids all claim the ranch is even better (I'm not a ranch fan). The garlic knots are best with cheese added. Not too greasy, and with a side of the sauce. These are my kid's favorites.
Customer service is stellar! The employee's have always been very polite and kind. Quick to refill drinks, attend to our needs. On a side note, I must admit that it is really nice to be able to see your pizza flipped around and made in front of you. The restaurant is very clean and the 60" HDTV is great for watching the game. They will even change the channel for you when asked.
Overall, it is a very family-friendly pizza that will give you great bang for your buck (The XL is HUGE). Cincinnati is lucky to have such good pizza. I'd highly suggest you at least try it!
Came down from Toledo to visit Sister-in-law and family. Took us to Fratelli's for dinner. Loved it so much came back two days later for lunch. Spaghetti sauce is amazing!
I Love This Place. I visited Fratelli's Saturday afternoon with my basketball team. A few pizza's later and my team was all amazed at how fantastic the New York Style pizza was! The owner (Craig) was in and he was friendly and sat with us for a few minutes to make sure we loved the food.
No more Larosa's for this family. The only pizza i want is Fratellis. Its worth whatever drive you might have!
Amazing!! I went to New York for the summer and I actually like the pizza here better! Service was great, the pizza was great, and you just a lot for what you pay for. This place is my favorite and I go here a lot. Fantastic!!
First time to Fratelli's, and what a great experience. Hands down, best tasting crust ever. Food was delicious, beer selection was good, service was great, and owners are attentive and committed. Would highly recommend!

Best NY-style pizza in Cinci.... In a country full of $11, $10, $9, and even $5 pizza chains, finding a truly great pizza is getting harder and harder. I grew up in Jersey and my wife is from New Hampshire (via Scotland). NY-style pizza is what we love, and Fratelli's makes the best NY-style pizza I've had anywhere near here (in fact, better than some big time places in NY -- more on that below). Everything about the place screams "NY pizzeria", it reminds me of the little hole in the wall neighborhood joints that we'd go to after little league games growing up. Everything is fresh and they make the pizza right in front of you. In fact, we visited NYC over Thanksgiving, and I made a point of getting a pizza from Lombardi's, which is NYC pizza royalty (if you haven't seen them on various Food Network and Travel Channel shows, Google the history of pizza in the U.S. and pay attention to how quickly "Lombardi" comes up). I didn't say anything at the time because I had made such a big deal about getting that pizza, but frankly I thought Fratelli's was better. The giant foldable slizes have a nice crisp bottom but that signature NY chew, the cheese is perfectly melted, and there's just the right amount of grease (which is to say grease will run down your arm when you eat it. Just like it's supposed to.). It's not an uppity "we're cooler than you" pizza place (hello, Dewey's), it's not a "gourmet pizza place" trying to be an authentic Italian trattoria , it's just a great NY-style pizza place that will bring back memories from your childhood (unless as a kid you were subjected to Larosa's and grew up thinking that's what good pizza is supposed to taste like, in which case I feel for you.)

Good, but Pricey. I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, and finally did a few weeks ago. The pizza is pretty good, but pricey. The crust has that great oven-baked crispness you expect from NY pizza, but I didn't care for the sauce; it was too tart for my taste. For the price, I think I'll be going elsewhere from now on, unless I find a coupon.

Recent Guest, Some of the Best. I came to writeup my visit at Fratelli's and there's a lot of "Unclean" posts on here... I don't know that I would have visited if I would have read them first.
I don't know if it's rival pizza guys flaming each other, or if there's been some change between those and the time I went there but I thought the place was very clean, the staff was friendly to me, I didn't have to wait on refills and the pizza,..
WOW I don't care what anyone says, I'll take that pizza over ANY delivery place EVER. We got a pepperoni, onion and meatball. The sliced meatballs are AWESOME, big pepperoni like slices nice and thin that get cooked really well. We ate till we were full and we looked at what was left and just wanted to keep eating becasue it was Sooo delicious.
It was even good re-heated the next day (and I usually can't stand pizza re-heated)
Usually urbanspoon is on the mark and I find myself agreeing with the *negative* posters in places that I've visited, but this is one of those times where I'm just scratching my head and wondering if they went to the same place I did.
I'm used to Umberto's in New Hyde Park, NY.... If you want NY pizza in Cincinnati, Fratelli's is the place. The manager, Craig (ask for him) works his ass off to satisfy! The pizza is as close to Umberto's as you will get in Cinci...lots of real Mozz, Sausage is Ital, and BIG, oily pizzas! Great for the price!

Great Pizza. Fratelli's makes their own dough and hand tosses each pizza to order. This is the most authentic New York style pizza in the area. The crust is thin, but has just the right chewy texture. Great sausage from NY that they slice on premises. They serve slices at lunchtime until 2 PM. Delicious. My favorite is just a slice of cheese pizza. Don't go between 2 & 4. They close.
Goood Pie. We had Fratelli's pizza on Tuesday evening for dinner. My 19 month old daughter knocked the pizza on the floor and the young man (Joey) behind the counter came over and cleanned it up. Then turned to me and said I'm going to make you a new pizza. I said WHAT? She was the one that knocked it on the floor. He made us a new pizza and it was perfect. YOU DON'T GET CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE ANY MORE. Thank you Fratelli's the PIzza was WONDERFUL.
Great Pizza. Have always loved NY Style pizza and cannot get it in Ohio. Absolutely love their slices!! Big, thin crust slices that taste as close to New York as you can get.
I've since moved from Cincinnati, but everytime I go back I make sure I get a pie from Fratelli's!
If you haven't tried it out yet, go get some pizza with the family. In the summer there is a great ice cream place across the street called The Cone. You can't miss it. Go for pizza and ice cream, you will be satisfied.
THE REAL DEAL!. For those of you that don't understand the concept of NY Style Pizza let me try to help you out. Fratelli's has done a pretty good job providing the atmosphere, staff and as close as your going to get NY Style Pizza without being in New York. It's different. Everything is fresh and most importantly the dough. Chain pizza places have their dough trucked in, literally brought in on a refrigerated tractor trailer and the sauce comes out of a bag. Heck, you can get that at the grocery store. If you think La Rosa's is the best pizza, then don't wast your time going to Fratelli's. Thanks Fratelli's for keeping it REAL.
Good NY style pizza. I always feel like maybe they're hiding Sloth in the basement (Goonies... the Fratellis...nvm).
Anyways, the pizza here is pretty good. Not anything terribly out of step with other pizza places, but they do a good thin crust, NY style pizza. Think Sbarro's, only a little better.
That being said, I'm surprised at the attention they've gotten on here - it's worth a try, but not anything to hop towns for.
Edit 3/17/2011: Hmm, 5 positive, generic sounding reviews on the same day (2/24/2011) from reviewers who only bothered to review Fratelli's. I respect your pizza, Fratelli's, but don't be dirtbags and puff up your restaurant. That is a sleazy thing to do.
Yankee Pizza. This is as close to good Yankee pizza as them come. Yankee pizza is not overwhelmed with herbs or "stuff", it has a great crust and tons of cheese and a nice mild sauce. I give Fratelli's 3 thumbs up.

Incredible Pizza. My younger brother played baseball with the owners kid growing up so when he quit his FedEx job to open up a Pizzaria, of course we were going to try it. Needless to say Fratelli's quickly became a staple in our house. The hand tossed super thin New York style crust, is simply the best and the toppings are killer. Try "The Craiger", you won't be disappointed (unless you are a vegetarian). Its always a pleasure to support local business owners, but now we just go to get the best New York style pizza in town!
Closest to NY pizza I've found yet!. My husband is from Long Island. Now that he doesn't live there, he tries every "NY Pizza" joint he can find in the hopes that one will be close. He always leaves ticked off and angry at the crud they try to pass off as pizza. He was overjoyed with Fratelli's! Damn close to NY. Can't be exact, a lot of NY pizza is the water, but closest we've ever found yet. And I've eaten at the Original Ray's in Manhattan (where Santa tells Buddy to go 'cause they claim to be the Original Ray's), and I like this better!
Pretty tasty. I'm always on the hunt for good pizza, and this was pretty tasty. We got ours loaded with veggies, which at some places can come out pretty soggy, but this pizza was nice and crisp. It had a good amount of toppings, a nice sauce, and not overly greasy.
Great sauce. My family had eaten here several times, usually at my request. I am the only one who really digs it so I have to speak up when they want to order pizza hut. I think I love how they put pepper on the pizza, it gives it a kick. A large is really big too, much bigger than a large from other places. The only drawback is that you really need to eat this fresh from the oven. For some reason when it has sat a while or if you want leftovers the crust is unbearably chewey. My kids think the crust is really bad even fresh but I like it with some chew. It is really awesome fresh from the oven.
Great family pizzeria!! LOVE the white pizza!! The staff and service is always great, and the place always is clean. It is a great change from all the cookie cutter chains. We love the local hometown restaurant where you can get great food, great drinks, and feel like you are part of something. I would definitely recommend Fratelli's!
Great Pizza!. We've been going to Fratelli's since we moved here 4 years ago from Florida. There is no place else to go to find good NY style pizza in WC. Highly recommend!!!!
Great NY Style Pie. We had two large pies last week, one with extra cheese and one with pepperoni and onions. Both were awesome, the guy working there told me they make the ingredients daily, everything on the pizza is fresh made.
Cincinnati has lots of conveyor belt pizza places and they taste that way too.

Best Pizza in Ohio!! Go check it out. Fratelli's Pizzeria is a very tasteful and family friendly place to eat. I love going there with all my friends for a Hockey Game during the winter or a football game during the fall. I always meet so many nice people when i dine in and can't help talking to others even if i am just waiting for a pizza! The staff always makes a pretty tasty pizza and its great fun whatching them toss that dough in the air! My Favorite thing there is their speciality pizzas!!
Voted P & G Gov Hill Favorite Pizza!!. Our big HOST event we hold semi annually at P & G (the Governor's Hill location) we have catered by Fratelli's. Everyone always comments on the PIZZA! They love it! Any team building we have if we are having pizza - it now has to be Fratelli's!
Forgot to take a pic before I scarfed this. All that's left after pizza salad and 2 10" pies. Great zah and an awesome staff that, get this, actually like working here. Had their veggie pizza and added sausage because why not? The missus had pepperoni, which was a bit on the spicy side but still good. (Ranch is too spicy for her, so take that how you want). Wonderful casual experience. Don't miss out.

Add some hot sauces and we brought in 2023 with heat! Love the Craiger, The Italian and the white pizza. Heck, I love all their Pizzas. Meatballs are awesome too! See you again soon.
First time here! It was suggested to us because we were looking for a pizza place similar to Westshore that closed a few years ago. It was excellent! The pepperoni was VERY spicy which is why we are giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. For me it made it inedible but my fiancé didn’t mind the heat. We will be back!
Been hearing alot of hype about how good Fratelli's pizza is so we decided to check it out today for lunch. Man all the hype was no joke. They just moved into my top 5 pizza places around. Service was great and food came out fast and fresh. Just got a large pepperoni pizza, cheese sticks, and a salad. I'm thoroughly impressed with how good this pizza is and we will definitely be back regularly.
This was very good pizza. We got one large meat pizza and one medium vegetable pizza and they were both as close to New York style as you can get without being in New York. I think the large tasted more like authentic New York style than the medium, but we were happy with both. Definitely coming back. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, & and reasonable prices.
Good NY style pizza. The plain cheese is great. The sauce has a light, fresh tomato taste to it. Also pictured is a large pizza with Capicola ham, sausage and black olives on one half.
Really good NY style pizza. They use stone gas deck ovens at 600F to cook the pizza almost to perfection. I let them know that I like there to be color on the bottom and crispy but they cooked it just short of perfection. I would drive the 35min again to get another cheese pizza. All of the employees were really nice and didn’t mind me asking questions and being a looky-loo while I waited for my pizza. I would definitely recommend.
Oh yes please! White pizza with broccoli, tomatoes, and ricotta; Delicious. Authentic New York style and flavor. I ordered again the next week
Delicious New York style pizza. We tried the pepperoni and it was great. The service was great, and you can actually see them tossing up and twirling your pizza crust.
My family has been looking for a good NY style pizza place for a long time. There are several good ones and this one moves right up there. The pizza was thin and crispy. Great sauce, and cheese. I love that my jaw was not sore from chewing like some NY style has done to me. I will be back.
