I had never been to this restaurant before today. We don't find ourselves driving down this road often, and since it's not visible from the main road, I really didn't even know it was here till my friends mentioned it. I met up with some of my friends here for a yummy lunch. They've both been here many years ago, but a first for me! We were seated right away when we walked in. The atmosphere was welcoming with high ceilings, warm lighting, and plenty of booth seating. They serve Coke products here, which is always a big plus for me😅, so I ordered a Diet Coke while I waited for my friends to arrive. I looked at the menu for a long time before finally settling on Yuk Gae Jang, I'm admittedly not very familiar with Korean cuisine so I wasn't quite sure what I was ordering but had heard the food was the best Korean in the area so I didn't worry too much as it would be good. And it was very good! The food was served in a blazing hot stone bowl, and the food was piping hot as well! It was difficult to eat at first, but as it cooled down, it got better and better! Tried as I might, I could not finish all the food in front of me. The meal was a great value, and I got to take home some excellent leftovers to share with my husband. I can't wait to return and try something else (if I don't just order the same thing again😅).
Food was amazing, prices were high, but large portions, Their sign is hard to find in the dark. Went to celebrate a birthday, his choice to go there. He has been there several times, His dad a couple times and it was my first time there. Birthday boy got the Pork Bulgogi, His father got the Beef Bulgogi, and I got the Kkanpunggi. They brought out 6 different sides for us to share with our own bowl of rice before our entrees. All three of our entrees were delicious. Large portions and the 3 of us had to get small boxes to go. We Definitely will definitely be going back again.
This restaurant is a hidden gem.
When I first walked in, I thought I was in a grocery store, not a restaurant. There were drinks, ice cream, and other products that you would find in a supermarket.
The food was limited because the fan was broken, but I could order Spicy Beef Soup and Jjamppong. It was delicious enough that I almost finished it.
I've seen some bad reviews about the server, but she was attentive and friendly, including refilling my side dishes and water promptly when needed.
I would definitely recommend here to my friends.
Hands down best Korean food in the area. My girlfriend and I have been coming back for years. We love Korealistic!
Ordered the kalbi and kimbap for take out. It was fantastic. Super fresh. The meat was soft and tender. Overall my experience was fantastic. Will have to try dine in soon! The staff was polite and friendly. The restaurant was very clean. I loved that they had snacks up front for purchase too! Would def recommend.
Not from the area we tried this place. A little pricey but the waitress was amazing. Great service. People should check it out.
Help support new local business owners!
Whatever salad I had was amazing!
Such pleasant owners. Helpful with menu items explanation. Surprisingly good wine selection!
The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. I enjoyed the variety of seafood included in the Seafood Udon, and all of the side dishes included were great. The owner/waitress was amazing - she helped guide us through the menu and was very personable.
This is an awesome Korean restaurant. The food is outstanding and the service is great. They have enough room to accommodate large groups and the menu has some great choices that I can't find anywhere else in the area. The staff also takes the time to explain the dishes and how they are traditionally eaten. Really great dining experience!
The food here is amazing. It has such good flavor and quality. This is my 2nd time coming and I have not been disappointed. Our server Sophia was very hospitable and attentive. We had a great time here.
The saohan I think was the name but it was calamari and pork, it was amazing. The eel melts in your mouth it was perfect. The Korean BBQ with short ribs and pork belly was amazing!
Tried this spot for the first time recently.
As I understand it, the previous owner had passed away earlier this year and her daughter has stepped up to run the store. She took super good care of us between getting our food out quickly and helping us navigate the menu. I tried the jeyuk bokkeum (spicy pork belly) at her recommendation and I'm glad for it, it was delicious. My wife ordered the seafood udon and while I'm not the biggest fan of seafood, it to, was really good. I'd never tried squid before, but now I'm a convert lol.
I get the sense that the new owner is fighting hard to uphold all the work her mom put into the restaurant. Definitely rooting for her. With food and service like that I'm confident she'll continue that legacy. Hoping this review helps out!
This is one of our favorite local restaurants! The food is always amazing, and the hostess is so kind and welcoming! Highly recommend! We bring all our out of town guests here to try their incredible menu! Also, their Takoyaki is the best by far!
So much food... but oh so good. Dined alone for lunch and easily will be enough for dinner as well. The side dishes included a seaweed salad that looked and tasted homemade. So often it looks like it's just been purchased from Costco. All the side dishes look like they were made in house which I really appreciate.
Easily my favorite restaurant in the area, amazing service, very chill and friendly environment. Everything I've ordered has always been delicious, great for people who enjoy trying new food, menu has so much variety you could order something entirely different each time. Fun and interesting selection of drinks and snacks you can purchase while there, almost like a mini shop within the restaurant for Korean snacks and drinks.
First off the service was great, if you got to see what I could see lol. The waitress/server/ hostess was amazing and made great recommendations . Food was fast and good.Prices are a lil steep but food is worth it. You don’t complain going to Ruth Chris paying 85 dollars for a mediocre steak so don’t start now. Lol. Definitely coming back 🎯👀🫣
