I honestly don't eat out often but when I do, this is the only place I go. By far the best place to get filipino and vietnamese food. Love all of the options on the menu and that I'm able to try something different everytime. Been going since this restaurant opened last year and have reccomended this place to just about everyone I know! I always hear the same feedback.. and that is that dai trang bistro is best place to go out to eat in Cincinnati with friends or family hands down. If you haven't gone yet, you need to change that. Also order a boba drink.. best I've had.

We drove 30 minuets to get to the restaurant and it was quite worth the drive. We are not Filipino so we were unsure of what to order, but the customer service was outstanding and they helped us through the menu. If you would like to see the food before ordering, the menus does come with a picture book, making it easier to order. We ordered fried and soft Spring Rolls for appetizers and two entrees, the Butterfly Milkfish and the Fried Talapia. The entire meal was absolutely delicious, I am definitely going back next weekend!
My wife’s favorite place for bubble tea. Happy to have a place close enough to us.

If there were stars higher than 5, we would rate even higher. The bistro is clean and the menu offers many choices. Service is outstanding! The food is fresh and made from scratch. It was our first time here and we will return.
Love that our adopted Filipino kids can eat their favorites here in Cincinnati!! The food was delicious and our server was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return to treat the kids again!!
Great experience!Delicious and exotic flavors with a super fun and friendly staff.
I have never had Filipino food before and it's great!Ask for advice, they are more than happy to help. The Halo Halo is a fantastic desert! It is a little out of the way but well worth the trip!
Authentic and delicious and good portion sizes. It made my tummy happy :)
Always great ...if you looking for authentic Filipino foods this the place to go big serving and yummy delicious desserts
Great service and food. Drove over 1 hr to eat there and worth the drive. Large servings.
Our 4th time coming here, Great food and service. Food can be a little on the slow side but we'll worth the wait! simut sarap talaga!
Super delicious bubble tea and very friendly staff! While we waited for our teas (not long at all) they even gave us samples to try!
Best bubble tea in the area. Had chicken lumpias for first time and now I'm addicted. Love the people there. Their awesomeness shows in their food. Say hi to Anna when you go in.
OMG. Didn't know this place was here. Food IS authentic, straight from the islands and so friendly. Can't wait till go back
Dai trang got good variety of food and the owner are friendly and caring...
First time eating here as we just visiting for the weekend. My parents loved the food. Not gonna lie, the and the menudo had too much pepper, but it was not bad. We still ate it. Customer service was PEFRECT! We ate here on a Sunday so it wasn’t busy at all. The only thing that can be done is the AC - it was so hot, but again, that’s not one to give this place a bad rating. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE who loves Filipino food. We’re Filipino and approve of this place! Will definitely go back!’
Menu had a very good selection. Portion sizes were adequate for pricing. Taste and authentic cuisine was spot on! Presentation was great.
Service was ok, and could use some attention to have an overall great experience.
Handoff from once staff member to the next was not there and they didn't come back once after dropping food off to check on us, and there was only us and one other group to serve. Their knowledge of the menu needs improvement too.
I am born and raised as a Filipino with a dad who can really cook. This place reminds me of my dad's homemade Filipino cooking. Food is great. Price is reasonable. I just really wished it is closer to me. I crave for their fish dishes every time. Fish Tinola, Pinakbet, Escabeche, Chicken Adobo, Chicken Egg Rolls, Fried Bangus are one of my favorites. When i go here with my family, i spend quiet amount of money coz i pretty much get everything i want. When i was pregnant, i crave for Filipino food all the time, this was my hang out place! I wish they deliver to me (i am about 30 mins away).. i would be willing to pay extra fee.
This was first time for me tasting Vietnamese food. And it was good. I am a vegetarian so they customize the food for vegan. Even though service was not very good but not bad also. I don't know the name of the food but it was lovely and delicious.😀😀😀
Had food catered from there for a house party filled with filipinos and vietnamese, so the food had to be authentic and good, and luckily everyone was impressed by the food. I greatly enjoyed the Korean Street dogs and vietnamese fried rice. Staff was very friendly and helpful, will definitely be going there again in the near future.
Staffs: Friendly, helpful since it's their family owned business. They will show you how to eat the food too.
Food: Authentic Phillipino food, well made. It's good.
Price : From $8-$20. Just right.
Environment: Clean, nice.
Very good Filipino food! Shown, pansit, adobo and lumpia. Tofu pho is really good as well, halo halo for dessert is a must! Wish we lived closer, very excited about this place!
Really friendly and nice place! Definitely come here for their happy hour, everyday from 1-6! We had the "small" Halo-Halo and it was a pretty big portion.
Really big menu with diverse options. So far all have been good. It may take awhile to make but it's worth it!
It was our first time here in a while. Went above and beyond our expectations. Food was great, We ordered Palabok Sisig Lechon Halo Halo Kare Kare and Bihon and it hit the spot. Took me back to my roots and my moms cooking. Staff was very kind, witnessed another customer act very foolish to staff. Our waiter was working in the front and the kitchen, and was doing his best to keep up with calls drinks and customers. Very sad to see their staff be harassed by an upset customer, the behavior I witnessed was the same you would see from an upset child. The staff remained very professional with a smile on their face during the whole “performance” can’t say that I would have been able to stay calm in their shoes. Come on people there is a national job shortage, be patient with the people who do show up. Any way rant over, loved the food, will be back soon with friends to try the buffet. I can’t believe I have been missing out in this place! In my top 3 favorite restaurants now!
Ps….. if you were the outrageously rude customer I witnessed I paid right behind you & noticed you didn’t tip so I tipped the young man for you.
Excellent food! Awesome environment! I have never had Filipino food before and I am allergic to fish. The waitress was extremely helpful in my dinner choice.
Everyone was very friendly and also gave me great advice!
Definitely going back!
It seems a bit on the pricey side, especially if you go after 5pm (when only the larger portions are available). My wife (who is from the Philippines) likes going here, and she has met her friends here many times. One time we met some of her family and my wife asked if we could pay for them. The near $70 bill for three adults and two kids was a bit of a shock to me. I'm not a big fan of Filipino food myself, so I always get the same thing. However, my wife really likes the place.
I thought the food was terrific. I had the bulgogi which is skirt steak and onions served with rice. The depth of flavor was great and the beef was tender. Also their are ample portions so you won't leave hungry. The service was friendly and helpful explaining what the dishes were.
Excellent food, friendly atmosphere. Food came quickly. Bicol express was phenomenal
This spot is the ultimate foodie designation!!! Everything was delicious! So many dishes I wanted to try. The Lechon was tender and still crispy enough. They also have a blueberry habanero wing flavor, soo bomb. And I even got to try the “chocolate soup” It was surprisingly so flavorful and I wanted more! Oh and I got to try lychee milk bubble tea, it was so good I wanted another! Check this place out! You won’t regret it!!
It was a bit of a wait but I think it's because it's during the weekend. Other than that food was AMAZING! I wish I live close by but I'll be definitely coming back. It's the best Filipino food I ever had. I feel at home here. I wanted to bring the chef home with me.
