The avocado juice in this place has a taste of coconut, which my husband really likes. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of Indonesian food options, from snacks, appetizers, to Indonesian dessert and exotic food like sate kambing (goat kebab). Parking was a breeze because it's inside of Hong Kong Plaza where there are plenty of parking spots.

If you want a taste of authentic Indonesian food, this is the place to go in LA. Nasi bungkus padang taste exactly like it came out of a rumah makan padang. Ayam kremes was soft and flavorful accompanied with the best sayur asem (tanarind soup) I’ve had in the U.S. Order the durian juice for those of you who are durian fanatics. Es campur was perfect as a dessert on a hot day!

Yummy homestyle Indonesian goodness at a small food court adjacent to an Asian-specialty grocery. We were feeling the need for ayam goreng kremes, fried chicken with crispy breadcrumbs, and the lovely folks at Indo Bistro hooked us up with a huge bag of extra kremes. Love. Sides on point as well, including good rendang and a delicious light bean and tomato broth with hints of anchovy and shrimp paste. Can’t wait to try more options from the menu!
