A nice spot by the VA with quick service and generous portions – loved the yogurtlu dishes, with bread and garlicky sauce! Yelp; website. Click to email (Opens in new window). Enjoyable, Byob!!! Love the Greek salad, lamb Adana, chicken shish, baklava and milk pudding!!! Very nice wait staff!!
Classic Turkish Cuisine. The Turkish Kebab House has a large menu with all sorts of middle eastern foods. Most things are resonably priced, and you get a lot of food with your order. They hava a nice atmosphere, and good service.
For any first timers--I recommend the "adana kebab"

Once again my kids and I explored a new quisene. We had to wait a bit to be seated even though there were many tables open but that is the only negative I can mention. We had stuffed grape leaves for an appetizer which was one of the best I have ever had. Now to the main dish which for me was Ribeye and Chicken Kababs. The ribeye was excellent. The chicken was a little dry but still good. Served with rice, a cooked tomato and a spicy green pepper. Service was right on target. You can always judge by how long your water stays empty and ours never was. A little pricey but well worth the time.
i have been coming here often for over 10 years, its just so good and i have always enjoyed their food. the staff is friendly and you can eat as much bread as your heart desires before your meal. it is a really good place for take out or just dining in and everything is perfect. i will say the quality has gone down a little lately since i have been coming around and it tastes a little different, though it obviously has gained more service and popularity so that is bound to happen, but it is still good food and i nontheless enjoy it. love it here. i hope to eat again from here soon when renovations are finished. favorite restaurant forever
The food was good but the service was not that great. The server was rude.
They have nice authentic Turkish Tea. Must try Lahmachun and mixed kebab platter. But the highlight of the evening was Kazandibi (baked milk pudding). Absolutely loved it.
First time dining there. Good food, friendly staff. Waiter was very attentive and helpful as this was my first time having Turkish Kebabs.
Great resturaunt, food, and staff. Probably one of the best middle eastern places in the new haven/west haven area. The shish kebabs are the best items on the menu. They are extremely flavorful.and very well cooked. The accompaniments are also quite good especially the bulgur wheat pilaf. The waiter was very kind and accomodating. Definitely a great option if your looking for middle eastern food.
Nice, elegant and delicious meals.
That's all what you can find there, handsome waiters that were very happy to serve us.
I ordered the mix grill meat meal, and it was amazing.
Maybe it would be better if they increased portions a little bit and added some hummus to the meal.
For sure I have to appreciate their dessert menu especially the Kunafa, beyond the amazing and one of the best Kunafa I've ever eaten in US
Wonderful Turkish meals that may seem a bit pricey but are served in large portions by the friendly staff. I recommend the chicken chops (if you like grilled thighs), lamb saute, and the red lentil soup. This place is BYOB with no cork fee so be sure to bring your own firewater.
THE FOOD IS AMAZING COMING BACK HERE THE SERVER WAS SUPER NICE AND AMAZING 10/10 FOOD WAS GREAT
The food is left overs in the picture
