Great breakfast spot!. Excellent breakfast food, and great options for those with dietary restrictions! My wife and I came here in December while visiting LA, and LOVED it! She ordered the Almond Energy Pancakes, and I had the Go Green Frittata. Man, her pancakes were awesome and tasty! My frittata was HUGE -- so big, I couldn't actually finish it! But it fueled me up for a day of touring for sure. The service was great, and I love the vibe of the whole place, including the neighborhood in which the restaurant is located. I'll be going back there when I visit LA again!
Gluten Free Friendly. We went to Beverly Hills on vacation and found this gem for Gluten free eating. All the items on the menu show if its GF, Vegan or Vegetarian.
They had Cranberry Gluten free pancakes that my 8 year old loved. Also tried the GF Roasted Pineapple Coconut pancakes-- Yum. Another day I tried a dish with GF cornbread with black beans and turkey- awesome!!
They do change the menu so check ahead to see what they have. It's nice to have so many choices for GF eating!!!
Great for All Audiences. Took a vegetarian friend of mine by Hugo's and found it to be enjoyable for all audiences - vegetarian or not. Atmosphere is casual and service is solid - the dining room is fit for everything from a meal with the family or a dinner date. Menu is pleasingly varied and imaginative offering lots of flexibility of recipe options depending on dining preferences. Really enjoyed the special Veggie Waffle Cone starter that I hope becomes a regular menu offering (roasted veggies organic white beans and brown rice cooked in guajillo chili sauce. Topped with guacamole and pico de gallo). Also enjoyed my traditionally prepared Steak Tacos. Very good food - recommended.
Good food. Had a nice brunch there. I love potato pancakes, and theirs were fantastic.
Great Pasta. I went for breakfast and got a pasta dish with eggs, bacon, chicken sausage, and cheese, the pasta was homemade and cooked perfectly.
This place was featured on Food TV's "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" show during their "Wake Up Call" episode. Susan Feniger (STREET) recommended Pasta Mama at this restaurant.
Great turkey meat loaf and the pasta victor is a must!
...requested a non-GMO, organic meal with lots of gluten-free options. And cheese. I knew Hugo’s would be the perfect place.
Stopped in for our first time this past weekend and we all had a great breakfast. Hugo’s is located in the far west side of West Hollywood and is well known as a great breakfast spot that serves all the classics and can make any substitutions that you may want. It’s very lively and energetic inside, mainly due the locals/crowd, but in a good way. Service is fast, the food comes out quickly, and they have a huge, free parking lot directly behind the restaurant, which is rare and great to find in LA.
They have a ton of seating options inside and out but due to the rain we chose to eat inside for our first visit. We ordered the Cali Eggs Benedict and the Classic Breakfast and both really enjoyed our meal. I chose the Cali Benedict but subbed Turkey sausage instead of their vegetarian bacon and it was a great call.
Overall pricing is very fair and the wait time was nonexistent; we were able to be seated as soon as we arrived for a 10:30 breakfast/brunch. I would definitely recommend and plan to be back next time I’m searching for breakfast in WeHo.
Green eggs and (no) bacon was amazing! Crisp potato pancakes, tasty sautéed spinach and mushrooms, JustEgg moist, and vegan hollandaise that was the perfect complement. My son had the tofu scramble and it was good - he said it was comparable to others he’s had. The Cinnamon French toast had good flavor and the real maple syrup was perfect (we only got the side order to try). The atmosphere was pleasant, well maintained, and clean. The server was so nice and attentive!
Absolutely fantastic place, has a wide ranging menu and caters for all allergies and all their items are made in-house. The vegetarian burger is to die for - you have to try that if you go here. The gluten free pasta is also amazing and the vegan Reubens is another favourite
The place was clean. The staff were welcoming. The server did a good job but missed a few things. Would liked to have had follow up visits after each course, including the cocktails. Would liked to have had small dishes for shared appetizers. I left half of my Lavender Collins because I just didn’t care for it. The dining room was clean, as was the restroom. The mat inside the entryway had several wrinkles in it, which could be a trip hazard. The food, however, was spectacular. The pasta was fresh and house-made. The rolls were light. The squash soup was thick. It was good but lacked flavor. The chicken fingers were hand-cut. The pasta carbonara was amazing. It was cooked Al dente. I can’t say enough good about it. We were thanked as we left.
We sat outside, which was nice (always is), but the inside definitely seemed to have a better ambiance. Came for the vegan options. Looks like Hugo’s can veganize most things, but my girlfriend and I split two already vegan options - the green, eggs, and no ham & chocolate chip pancakes. The pancakes were good, but nothing to write home about. It was nice to have the option of getting pancakes for brunch as a vegan. What I would write home about though was the green, eggs, and no ham. Just egg, greens, & mushrooms over potato pancakes along with a hollandaise sauce on top. Oh BOY! was that good.
The almond energy pancakes were really good! The strawberries had a little after taste? So I didn’t eat those. The Turkey bacon was good. I also had the chai tea which was great!
The food is amazing I had thr vegan eggs and hollandaise on crispy potato pancakes with kale and mushrooms. One of the best vegan breakfasts I've had!!
Really good place for people with dietary restrictions and concerns. Everything is highly customizable down to the type of oil used to cook your meal (found this out through online ordering). Food has always been fresh with no issues whatsoever. They have a really large menu with something for everyone. Probably a good choice if you're with a group of picky eaters 😂 Great for take out or dining in

Came across this cute relaxing place while walking around WeHo. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was great too!
Yummy. Avocado toast, cauliflower padika, and a matcha smoothie we split. Filling too 💪💪
Drag Bingo featuring Bottomless Mimosas every Friday at 6 pm (it's drag time though so more like 7 pm). Highy recommend reserving since spacing is very limited! A very intimate setting that's pretty fun with Miss Tiffany Vogue serving you her best. The bingo cards are $5 per each card and make sure you bring some dollar bills to tip as well!
The food is diner food so pretty comforting. They gave drink specials until 7 pm too if you only want a few drinks and not do the Bottomless Mimosas.
Overall, a fun time with good and cheap drinks that will turn up your Friday pretty quick!
Friendly service. Modern cuisine. I came for breakfast. Portions are hearty.
Always a great time at Hugo’s. Had the Pasta Papa which was fantastic and the green juice which is one of my favorites. definitely recommend for anytime of day and any occasion, true LA classic
We were looking for somewhere to eat after visiting Griffith's Park, my partner requires Gluten free options and this place did not disappoint. Excellent staff, excellent food, excellent location. Huge, huge amount of gluten free options and fresh tasty food. Really great and would love to visit again if ever in the area.
Hugo’s offers fantastic vegan options! My favorites on the Happy Hour menu are Asian Spring Rolls and Vegan Mac n Cheese.
HAPPY HOUR is daily 4-7pm. Drinks are $6 at Happy Hour- highly recommend the Blueberry Bombshell if you like Makers Mark whiskey.
♻️ They use paper straws (except for plastic stirrers in lowball glasses - make sure to ask for a paper straw for all cocktails.)
🅿️ Free parking lot behind the restaurant!
Came to Hugo's not really knowing what style restaurant it is. They offer breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.
They offer pancakes, French toast and more for breakfast options. Oddly hard to find unless you go to IHOP.
The steak, salmon and pasta are top. Steak 🥩 is tender and flavorful.
