Dickey's is pretty good. This was my first time here so I'm not experienced with this place. I'll say I love the Mac and cheese but that's because I'm weird. To be honest it's exactly the same as cheap buffet Mac and cheese which 90%+ people hate or at least don't enjoy. The beans and chicken were also fairly good. I love the souvenir cup that came with the meal. The problem I had was my brisket. It was dry and pretty tasteless. I barely had a nibble of it before disliking it entirely. I took my problem to the guys at the counter and they exchanged it for turkey - which was amazingly tender and pretty delicious. It needed a little BBQ sauce because it was dry but overall I got my way and am a happy camper. The guy seemed reluctant to trade out the brisket and lacked the friendly customer service I desired. If it was me on the other side of the counter I would've put on a smile, promptly apologized for the lack of quality in the meat, and eagerly replaced it for something else. But maybe I'm too demanding on that subject since I did get my way. Overall a four star experience.
I love Dickey's BBQ! At first, we were surprised that this unique sit down restaurant, had a counter that you go up to, to place your order. But the boys behind the counter were so helpful & polite, & I really had a taste for BBQ. The food is outstanding, (ease up on the pepper on the green beans:) we loved this family restaurant, they even had free ice cream for dessert!!
I have been to three different Locations and this is by far the best one!! The staff's customer service was superb. Kevën and Riki really took care of my family and I. The ribs, oh those delicious ribs, were perfect! And everything else about the food was Grade A!!! I highly recommend this location and will definitely be eating there again very soon! Thank you guys!
They guys are friendly and the food is good!!! Kevon and Rickie went out of their way to help us make good selections that we all enjoyed. Somehow the address does not show up on all of the Dicky's websites. The food is good, and then you get to pick the SAUCE you want to go with it. SO customizeable that everyone is happy, me, my 18 and 10 year old sons!!!!
BRING BACK THE PICKLES. Fantastic food! Four stars because it's slightly on the expensive side, even the family meals. I love the combo plates. They have several types of meats and sides. Fried okra is something you can't get in too many places and theirs is just right. They have free ice cream. We find ourselves taking the cups home with us and have been washing and reusing them for a couple years now.
The meat here is delicious! I also love the onion tanglers, and the fact that the BBQ sauce is kept warm and out where you can put as much on everything as you want. When my husband and I each ordered something similar to their specials, they let us know, so we saved some $ there. And there's free soft-serve vanilla ice cream, so treat yourself to a cone, or add some to your drink!
Excellent food. The beans are not as good as the rest of their food, but I enjoyed the ordering process. The food was all delicious. I had the 2 meat plate, with the spicy cheddar sausage and the marinated chicken breast. It was delicious.
The customer service was outstanding, I had just finished an 11 hour day at work I was starving and I got the Tuesday Special Ribs my favorite! Kevën was great, friendly, helpful, waited patiently for me to get off the phone, he was Amazing I am going to become a regular!
So my girlfriend and I came in like 10 minutes to close and they welcomed us warmly. Kevën was super friendly and made us feel at home. We will definately be returning.
Good food and good people. I hadn't been sold on Dickey's until this experience. All the meat and sides were perfect and very delicious.
I love barbecue food and this is an awesome place to get it. They have good tea and they also have an ice cream machine for kids to have ice cream after their lunch or dinner
