Now I see why this place is always busy. I was a little surprised that you order at a counter. It’s just me, but I always thought they had table service. Anyway, they brought our food to our table. So I had to get the Culver’s Deluxe Double Butterburger meal. I was a little perplexed when it seemed my burger was cold. Was it the lettuce? Maybe the tomato was really cold. And why was the cheese not melted? It still tasted good and I liked the fries too. We also ordered the Cranberry Bacon Blue Salad. The chicken was flavorful and the vegetables were fresh. The atmosphere was very clean and looks brand new still. And we noticed how nice the chairs are. This group obviously takes care of their business. Ultimately, I remembered that they make frozen custard each day. So I had to try that. The Flavor of the Day didn’t sound great, so I ordered vanilla with pecans on it. DELICIOUS! We are going back to try other menu options.
Love this place for a quick bite! The cheese curds are great and the burgers never disappoint. One of the few fast food chains that I trust and recommend.
Awesome service and the burgers are delicious and fresh! The fries and cheese curds are also great! Will definitely keep coming back for more!
Great food, but if you've ever lived in or visited the Midwest, you know, those cheese curds suck! If you want real cheese curds, go to double tap bar-and-grill. those are cheese curds like you would get in Wisconsin.
I'm not a huge fan of Culver's. They're hamburgers are better than a lot of the other fast food places. However, the fries are let down. Crinkle cuts can be better but I often find Culver's under cooks them. Yes, they're fully cooked but they're very lightly cooked and you rarely get a crispy french fry. Also, I'm not wild about the custards. It's a different type of ice cream taste and though they have multiple varieties and flavor of the day it's really not my pic to go and get if I'm in an ice cream mood. But, the real reason for this review is to tell you something I am a fan of at Culver's. I stopped there recently because as it being the season of Lent all the restaurants have added a new or different fish offering to their menu. I believe Culver's most of the time you can get fish and chips which is a piece of cod, but during Lent they offer walleye. Now that's something I am a fan of. We used to have a restaurant that we frequently went to for walleye and there were several restaurants in northern Illinois that would served it as well. Culver's offers several versions in the use of walleye from sandwiches to dinners. I ordered a two-piece dinner. This comes with two generous portions of walleye nicely breaded and barely robust and not thin fillets. You also get an order of crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, and a dinner roll. Once again the fries were ear nothing to write home about. But the fish was a entirely different story. As I stated they're not very thin fillets but a nice thickness to them perfectly coated and perfectly fried. If you never had walleye, it's a freshwater fish and doesn't have that overly fishy taste to it something along like having haddock or halibut, close but not quite the same. Either way, Culver is serving a very nice cut of fish. The coleslaw was a good size portion for the size dinner and was very tasty. It was a treat to get a Parker House roll with butter. Probably the only let down to this whole experience was I had ordered it through the drive-thru, and it's Culver so everything is fresh. This means you have to pull off to the side and wait for the food to derived. You get the bag, you come home, you take out of the bag the nice container and a separate bag with condiments like tartar sauce and ketchup, but then you notice they did not include a single utensil or napkins. Good thing I brought this home because if I taken it to work I'd be stuck trying to figure out how to eat this meal yeah I could pick up the fish with my hands and he's a french fries in my hands and eat the role playing with my hands but not so much the coleslaw. If I was at the restaurant, I would just walk back to the counter and tell them what they forgot. This is becoming the typical thing at these fast food restaurants or should I say drive-through restaurants you get the food and they're forgetting to add the little things cuz they're trying to rush. Bottom line is Culver's is a good place for a burger and during Lent, walleye. They need to improve their fries big time.
For being right off a major road/highway my expectation was pretty low but it was a very pleasant experience. Felt pretty clean and the service was quick.
Really good restaurant. We had both burgers and chicken, and neither disappointed. It's not the fastest service, but the few extra minutes was well worth it.
Very good Culver’s location. Food is usually very fresh and well made. Drive through can slow down a bit when busy, but that’s expected. Staff is friendly.
Never heard of them before and we figured why not. I tried the Culver Burger. It was very very good although it was the skinniest burger patty on I ever had. That didn't take anything away from it being a very good tasting burger. Next time I'll have to try the double patty.
The Cod was very good, but 2 dinners with different sides came to $45. The waitress told me I could change to any other sides, she did NOT tell me they would cost more. Live and learn. I am starting to realize it is just too expensive to eat out anymore....even fast food ☹️
My first visit looking for a burger close to my hometown favorite. The Butter Burger with bacon was delish. I have to say the fries were excellent too. I took a container of frozen chocolate custard home and it was excellent, comparing it to Abbott's in Vero Beach and Rochester, NY. My friend threw out our trash with my receipt so I wasn't able to review on their site. I will be back.
Second time visiting a Culver’s and this one was just as nice as Jensen Beach location, only a little busier. Staff was friendly, food tasted great. Very friendly employees. Clean bathrooms.
Great, CLEAN, friendly place with great food. The custard ice creams are unique and the best. Beats standard ice cream.
Culvers is like a hidden gem. They have amazing ice cream. The burgers taste like it's homemade on a grill and the salads are delicious.
