Not a vegetarian but all their food is great every time! Service is awesome and she is always nice and welcoming and always knows who I am when I walk in. Prices are reasonable and portions are nice sized. We usually get Chicken w/Veggies, Beef w/Veggies but substitute garlic sauce. Soups are good abs everything else we've tried has never disappointed. I wouldn't mind some actual meat options but I realize that's probably against their whole theme. Highly Recommended!

Be careful! You may just get addicted. My husband and I have spent well over $1000 here over the past two years. We drive all the way from Allentown because we can't find such an array of amazing vegetarian asian food anywhere closer - and believe me we've tried. Here's a photo of our most recent haul. We always get enough to last for at least 3 or 4 dinners.

My favorite Chinese joint to get food from. I am not vegan/vegetarian, but man does their sesame chicken just hit the spot. Love going in and cant wait for them to open back up in July!!

My family absolutely loves this place! Great people, great food. The pricing is comparable to other Chinese food restaurants. Hopefully they will be open again soon because we are in desperate need of a fix.

I tell everyone you’ll get obsessed with the sugar cane drumsticks and they do. Also love the dumplings and mango chicken. Food and service is great!

I was flipping through Happy Cow to see if anywhere near would have an option or two for me. Imagine my surprise at finding this little hidden gem in this area. The place is just tiny only about 4-5 tables and they recommend you do take out since they don't have AC. We ended up eating in the car but it was definitely worth it. We're not from the area so we loaded up just to be sure! Everything was wonderful. The general tso's chicken was a really tough, like eating jerky but the flavor was good. I got to have wontons for the first time in decades so that was nice. The hot and sour soup was exactly like I remember and so delicious. I got the tenderloin and it was our favorite, the flavor and texture was great! And they get a non dairy cheesecake that is sooooo good, I'm glad I got 2 slices! Everything we got was so tasty that I'll happily travel the 45 minutes to visit again soon!

What an amazing gem of a find this place was and even that in Reading, Pennsylvania. I urge all vegan and vegetarian food lovers to visit this place especially if you are fan of mock meats like we are. This looks like a small mom and pop restaurant. The interior is very normal like any Chinese restaurant but its the food that caught us off guard. We ordered carrot and ginger juice which was prepared fresh. We could hear the blender. For appetizers we had salt and pepper chicken tenders and deep fried wontons. Dinner was General Tso’s chicken and basil soy protein. Everything was flavorful and very different. We really enjoyed. I urge people especially vegans and vegetarians and mock meat lovers to try Chen. Keep it up guys. We will definitely stop by when passing thru Reading.
