I haven’t tasted a shawarma like the one this Place serves in like 15 years. He also have the best sweets like Konafa. Reasonable prices and very welcoming environment.
It tastes like the good burgers from iraq. These things were crafted in heaven!

Best Middle Eastern food I have tried in the area. Food quality is great and very constant which makes me go back there constantly. Prices are unbeatable considering the quality and quantity of their food. Desserts are amazing also. And they are super nice people. Best of luck to you. I'll definitely keep coming back.

I can't even get the words out to say how delicious the food was. 😮 This place is, for sure, a hidden gem! It's a tiny window in the side of a building with a doorbell that brings you happiness. The gentleman who runs it was very kind. Thank you for such a wonderful meal.
Outstanding food. Znood dessert is a must eat. Eat the kabob bbq platter, it’s the same boy platter that comes with their amazing fresh bread.
I'm often in the area visiting from NYC with my Iraqi partner and we are always looking for mid-eastern food in the area. We discovered Ahalna and absolutely love it. The food is authentic and never fails to be cooked to perfection. We've tried the chicken shawarma, rice, lamb kebab and more. They are consistently great and have made it our go to for mid-eastern food in the area.
Wonderful food here. Our kids love the huge burgers and I love the shawarma and the lamb kebabs. Also, the znoud is fabulous! Such nice people, I wish they would open another in Northampton.

You have probably driven by this eatery one hundred times and may not have even noticed it. Yet hidden behind its austere storefront is some of the most delicious food you will ever eat! The menu is small but diverse. The prices are reasonable. The owner and his wife are welcoming and friendly. Also, the portions are HUGE!
I recommend the lamb and chicken kebobs with rice. Also their sandwiches are unbelievable. There are practically as large as a standard dinner plate. They may have the best chicken sandwich of all time. It has to be tried to be believed (sorry Popeyes and Chik Fil-A, you are not in the same class at all as Ahalna). Please, do not forget the Znood for desert; it's divine.
Ahalna has it all-- price, service, flavor, portions. Once you find them, you will be a happy repeat customer. They are a gem!
My first impression when I drove up to the place was that this restaurant didn't look like much. But I figured I'd give it a try, since it had so many reviews and nearly perfect scores. Not everyone can be wrong, right! The guy at the window was super helpful, he asked if it was my first time and showed me around the menu. I placed my order and he said it would take about 20min. 10min later it was ready, and oh so good! I had the steak shawarma plate, and my wife had the Lamb Kebab. The portions are big, my wife ate only half of her meal and I was barely able to get my down. I will definitely be coming back!
