Only thing open on a Wednesday after 7pm so after driving all day, we stopped in. The butternut squash soup was heavenly but the beer cheese dip was flavorless and greasy. Great atmosphere and service was friendly. A few local beers on tap.
It was a beautiful Labor Day weekend and we enjoyed a lovely lunch on their awesome patio. The food was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. We definitely will be back!
A random stop on our drive from MA to NY and we loved everything about the place. Sean, our server, was friendly & attentive. The ambiance is great and the food was fantastic. Despite there not being a kids menu, my 8 & 10 yr old boys found great dinner choices (grilled chicken club & the grilled trout) and my husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our meals & great beer selection. On a cold November night, it was cozy inside but we are looking forward to coming back in summer to enjoy the outdoor seating & bar.
Anything that makes my boys happy makes me happy! As a mother of three boys it can be difficult to find a restaurant that is family friendly in a small town.
Our server Jane was excellent and personable, and the food was top notch. Veggies and hummus amazing! All and all a great experience and we will definitely be back!!
We are so glad that The Tap House has reopened and is a huge improvement from the previous restaurant that was here. The food is consistently delicious and the staff is great. Sean is a server that we love to get because of his wonderful personality and attentiveness. We go often and always leave happy and content! I would however love for the soup to change regularly šš
A New England Gem Restaurant and Tavern. Wonderful place to Dine and Drink. The Food is incredible, the Mac & Cheese is to die for. With various items you can add such as Bacon or Lobster. The Prime Rib is Friday and Saturday , my Wife said it was delicious. The House Garden Salad was made of fresh Greens, Cherry Tomatoes , Cucumbers and there Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing,Awesome. Beautiful atmosphere and our Waitress Jane was great. The prices where appropriate and also enjoy the outdoor Patio.
So I started my evening with a glass of wine at the newly opened outside bar. Love the atmosphere, service was spot on! This is what the area has been missing for too long. Had my dinner inside so I could watch the Red Sox Game. I love that so much of the interior is the same BUT so much has changed. This is the location of my first date with my husband 21+years ago so I immediately go back to that date when I walk in the door; love seeing our old table. š What has changed is the food and how! Thank you for everything. Great service, great food and continued memories ā¤ we will be back for more.

Congratulations to the new owners! Beautifully restored tavern with an excellent bar menu and great beer selection. Plenty of local craft beers and a great selection of bottles & cans. The outside is primed and ready to go for summer. Couldnāt be happier with the re-opening of this local gem! Thereās nothing better than owners and management who listen to what their customers want and have a desire revive a local favorite. Cheers!

I tried to get in touch with Red Lion Corp as I didn't want to publish a public review for something that I believe is corporate policy (at least that's what our server told us). But there was no contact information for RLC other than snail mail...So here goes. First and foremost, our food and our service were great. Our server was extremely cheerful, professional and a lovely young lady. The food that the four of us ordered was delicious. Nice portions; reasonable prices. What I wanted to complain about was the policy and size of the soda. I doubt that the glass more than 6 ounces, if that much. But to add insult to injury, no free refills. If you're not going to provide free refills, at least give a 10-12 oz glass that one can enjoy more than 3 or 4 sips. Our waitress said that other people have complained and they've brought those complaints to management, but apparently management has decided not to listen. It's a simple fix - small glasses = free refills; large glasses can or can't = free refills. In a sports-bar feeling place like this, free refills are the norm. 6 oz glasses, never!!
I stopped in starving with my wife on the way back from a weekend in the Berkshires for a 3rd anniversary This was the absolute perfect ending to an amazing weekend. The Burgers were masterfully perfect and the fries were top flight!! Thank you and keep up the great work in these trying times! It's little experiences like these, these days that keep us sane LOL but seriously!
We spent Thanksgiving at the Tap House. My husband has trouble getting around due to a stroke. Everyone was so helpful to us. Helping him to and from the car, helping us with the buffet, etc. The food was fabulous also. What a nice surprise to have grits for Thanksgiving dinner. We will be back. Thank you to everyone who made this day special for us.
Had an amazing experience... the everything pretzel with a cheese sauce that should be bottled, shrimp and grits, executed perfectly and dessert that was unreal!! An all around fantastic night!!! Service rocked! Wine was awesome!! Thanks Tap House!!!
This place is amazing! I stopped there for lunch with a party of five and each one of us thought the food was delicious (my BBQ pulled pork arepa was so good that I will crave it!). The service was fast and friendly, the ambiance warm and inviting, and the beer selection outstanding. Moreover, it had plenty of parking for my motorhome (and parking is scarce in West Stockbridge). I canāt wait to go back!
Had the fried chicken with my family for four. It was fantastic. Tender, juicy, and light. Came with a large salad, cookies, green beans and mashed potatoes for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.
Great experience with Sean as our server! I recommend the grilled chicken club...the fries are to die for. Denise stopped to check on us during our meal; very nice & attentive staff all around.
