This place was a very pleasant surprise hidden amongst the pizzerias that is West Yellowstone. The food was some of the best Chinese I have had in a long time. Quick, great service and not ridiculously expensive. The Mongolian chicken was spicy and very very good. The family shared most of the entrees we ordered, the portion sizes were very large. Left full and satisfied. Will return to this eatery before heading home.
I ate at several restaurants while in town. This was the best. Clean/nice interior. Friendly service. Excellent menu selection. Great food. Would highly recommend if you're in town looking for Chinese or fine dining in general.
Pretty Good. Busy chinese restaurant. My wife liked the hot and sour soup. The vegetable dishes were good too but I was not crazy about the curry sauce; I prefer Thai curry. Service was fast and efficient.

Fresh, Modern, Delicious. We are regulars to West whenever we stay at our cabin. We usually expect to pay too much for mediocre food, so Red Lotus was quite a welcome surprise! We were treated warmly even with two messy little kids (it has an upscale feel) and served promptly. The food was great--have you ever had BBQ pork that they actually made in house?! They even make their own fried rice and it features their awesome pork. We loved the Orange Chicken too--not too spicy despite the menu's warning. The other major plus is that they were open for dinner in mid-March--usually unheard of in West.
The best Chinese food in the town! The dining place is nice and comfort. I had a combination plate D for dinner, it was good. I like their soup, Szechuan beef with veggies fired chicken and beef with radishes but the fried rice can be improved. BTW, the owner was so friendly!đź‘Ť
The food was pretty good and the customer service was great as well. It was very cold on the day I was visiting Yellowstone national park and the hot food was exactly what I needed. I would go there again if I were to ever visits Yellowstone again!
Authentic and tasty. What’s up with all those fake 1-star reviews? A 15% tip automatically added and white rice is $1.50 per adult. Beware of the wide price ranges of the dishes.
Great and quick service. We had our food within 10 mins of ordering. The portions were great and filled us up really quick. Food tasted great! Tip is automatically added in because many tourists are not used to paying a tip. Thank you for an amazing experience.
The food here tasted great! While visiting Yellowstone, I wanted some American Chinese, and I was initially skeptical given the negative reviews about food not having any taste, but I’m glad I didn’t listen.
We ordered the chow mein, ginger beef, and pork with pickled vegetables and they tasted exactly as I expected. The dishes came with complimentary white rice and have well sized portions.
The price may initially be off putting, but given the location and the type of folks that visit this town, it’s very much expected. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you have a craving for Chinese food while visiting the national park.
Expected a 15% tip automatically included in your bill.
The food was hot and delicious. The service was good and we enjoyed all our food. We had egg rolls, hot and sour soup, tofu and veggies, spicy cabbage and tofu and Crystal shrimp- all very good!
As a Chinese, I got three authentic Chinese dishes recommended by the boss. We have a great conversation with them!
