The coffee drinks are fun to try and so flavorful. Plus, they do have alternative creamer options like soy or almond milk. It looks small from front but the place goes back and has a big room with lots more tables and artwork lines the walls to keep it interesting and inspiring. Ask for the wifi password and get some work done while you chill.

Spent Saturday night with friends at Java Central and enjoyed the talented band of Avalon Nine. We had so much fun, haven’t laughed and enjoyed a night out like this in a while. The recommend the Buckeye drink. Great place! Will be back.

Drove in from Pittsburgh to watch Brady and Tim preform and had the best time! What a fantistic night of live music. Great entertainment, friendly people, great staff, and I tried a frozen raspberry mocha... loved it! I can't wait to come back again!

It’s the little things in life that keep it joyful. The baristas, owner, atmosphere and the coffee are a huge win and always brightens my day. The Buckeye I just got literally just made my day!!!

I love this place and come here weekly to get work done in a quiet but friendly place. I have meetings here often because there is always the right space depending on who I'm meeting. Great drinks and food and all of the employees are super friendly:)

We were in Columbus visiting our daughter. Later in the day my husband and I were looking for a “local” coffee shop and found Java Central! It was a wonderful date night—awesome chai latte and mocha, sweets, and relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

This is my go-to coffee shop. I love the staff, the drinks, the atmosphere, and the SMELL. Oh my goodness. I study here for hours at a time, no matter the season. I recommend the new coffee they roast themselves; I've been drinking coffee for years--just for the caffeine to get through the day--but coffee itself has never gotten my attention like their Sulawesi (earthy but sweet) coffee!

Love these people & this place! I stop in almost every time on my way in to work in the morning & the staff (especially Wayne & Alyssa) are like family to me ( & vice versa;-). AND they have the BEST chai I've been able to find in Ohio (like mine vanilla apple & iced;-). My day would not be complete without them:-) Go check them out!

Java Central is one of the jewels of Westerville ... a place full of generosity hospitality and deep conversations. Owners Ralph and Andy and all the baristas are wonderful.

Java Central is THE social epicenter of Uptown Westerville. In addition to a varied assortment of carefully and artfully handcrafted beverages (non-alcoholic...it is still Westerville after all), they are also a performance venue for a number of local artists, storytellers, and musicians. Both the menu and the entertainment schedule change frequently, so check in often. Oh, and they have excellent gourmet donuts on the weekend. What"s not to love?

Java Central Cafe and Roaster is an awesome gathering spot. Not only do they have great coffee, their support of the arts, make them number one in my book. It will always be a “go to” place for us.

Very nice staff ! I ordered a medium roast pour over, excellent flavor. It appeared they had a pretty extensive menu and pastry selection. it doesn't look big from the outside but this is a very large yet cozy coffee shop, plenty of seating if you have a larger group. I felt very relaxed while I sipped my coffee and completed some work I had to finish. I sat in the back area where it also appears they host live acts from time to time. Just a heads up, They prefer you where a mask in until your seated.

This place fits the “neighborhood coffee shop” title perfectly. Such a warm and inviting atmosphere and delicious coffee! I got the cardamom rose latte and it was just perfect. Not too sweet, not too bitter.

What a great little shop! I've been wanting to try it since seeing it when visiting my brother this summer. It did not disappoint. Met there with friends, I had an oat cardamom latte (super interesting, I liked it) and my friends had the honey latte (reported as not too sweet, but good honey flavor) and a hot cocoa. The house-made chocolate peppermint cake was DIVINE and huge, easily split among us. Also they had all kinds of Pattycake sweets! If I still lived in Columbus, I'd come here often and I'll definitely be back. Cute outdoor seating for whenever things get warm again. Oh and a nice clean bathroom with lots of hooks for coats/bags, doesn't go unappreciated in winter especially! The staff was also very friendly!

The drinks were amazing and I was very happy with the food. I had the gluten free breakfast sandwich and it was the same size as my boyfriend’s. They do have baked goods from local gluten free bakeries, which I enjoyed. We will definitely go back.

Java is my favorite coffee place! Among all the places I've been, I love their vanilla latte with almond milk (half sweet) the best. More than that, I called this morning to see if they could do a box of coffee for a group. Usually they need a bit of a heads up (didn't know), but they made it happen in 15 minutes! I came in to pick it up and they had a carrier full of extra cups, creamers, sugars (multiple kinds) and stir sticks without me even asking. Plus, the staff is so kind and personable. Love the vibe of the whole shop and always have a great experience.

I went to Otterbein, and spent many a study session at Java Central there. Even 7 years later, I love stopping by here. The staff is super nice, the atmosphere is great and the drinks are fun!

Loved it! This was my first time here and I got a scone and a frozen white chocolate latte and sat outside at one of the tables. Both were delicious and it was a really enjoyable visit. I'll definitely be back!
