Service was great, but the food was phenomenal. I've frequented sushi restaurants across the states and this one is one of my favorites. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.
My husband and I love Sapporo! We order it to go weekly! I recommend the spicy yellowtail sushi, crab salad and steamed dumplings! Delish

Located in a strip shopping center with several other restaurants. Not fancy or an upscale atmosphere, but nice enough. Rolls were of very good quality and the prices are reasonable. Excellent service.
This is a very pleasant restaurant that always has people in some seats. Very nice service. They have really great lunch deals and accommodate take out orders. It is very legitimate as a Japanese restaurant in all it's trimmings, from alcohol offered, dishware, decore, and even playing baseball over the bar. Only thing missing is a sushi bar in which you can see sushi assembled and interact with the chefs. But they do well with the space they have. The food is delicious, and I don't think I'll be able to stomach sushi around town that's any less than Sapporo's quality!
Awesome!. The restuarant is not trendy, it's very simple, but it doesn't matter when the food is EXCELLENT. The sushi is fresh, the sushimi is excellent. the housemade Gyoza is fabulous. They have a lot of created cooked sushi rolls if you want to bring someone in that is "scared" of sushi. Great service. We just moved from Westerville and will greatly miss visiting almost every week!
EXCELLENT!. Just had a fabulous dinner at Sapporo! My husband had the Rock-n-Roll, Gyoza, & the Rainbow Roll and I had the large sashimi sampler with a fresh salad! The service was very warm and friendly and the food is probably the best, freshest sushi I have had in a very long time! This little place is a gem!
Yum! The owner went next door to UPS to fax my office a menu (so nice of him!) so my office could order lunch carryout. Everyone's food was very yummy, fresh great tasting ingredients, plenty of Ginger and soy sauce on the side. Very great for the price. Definately going back SOON!
Excellent quality and very reasonable prices. I don't think it's the best in Columbus but it's in the top 10% in my book.
This is my favorite place to get sushi. I've been going here for years and it has never let me down. Definitely the best place to get sushi in Columbus hands down. They have very reasonable pricing as well.
Second visit here from almost a year ago. Same staff!!! Small dining area, clean, efficient and welcoming. Food is fabulous. Westerville roll is a must have! This, drinks and two orders of fried rice and an app fed 4 (3 teen boys!) for $100.
I got take out, but it was darn good. The person on the phone was accomidating to my requests and the food was ready fast. When I entered the restaurant it looked very nice and clean. The sushi bar was impressive and made me regret not staying. It was not crowded for lunch but you could tell the people at the bar were regulars and were being treated as such with engaging staff. I will return.
Good authentic Thai food and good sushi for a decent price.
I am pretty picky with my sushi places, and finding one that is just as good as it was on the first visit has been a challenge. Their sushi is always good every time we go, nice selection on rolls and all very flavorful. Only thing I wish is they had a cocktail menu or more Saki options, as I like to have a nice drink with my sushi.
This is a really nice place to get takeout from. We had had a date night here before but I don’t really like the way that the booths and restaurant is set up. It doesn’t feel like a date and feels more casual. When I’m spending money like that and eating some thing special like that I would like more of like a romantic feel and where I can connect more with the person that I’m sitting with instead of hearing all conversations around the restaurant
Love this place, always has delicious food, quick friendly service and I've never had to wait long to get a table. The prices are very fair, too.
