So we wandered in to When Pigs Fly today. Jeff Beadle met us at the door. He is one of our favorite basketball referees! He explained the menu as soon as we sat down. We sat in the dining room with an amazing view of the lake and placed our orders. My son got a Cheesy Mac n Rib Grilled Cheese sandwich served on Texas Toast. He said it was incredible and ate every single bit of food on his plate. My wife ordered the My Boy Blue, without a bun, and enjoyed every bite. I ordered the Que for Two, with the beef brisket and the sweet potatoe fries. The brisket was perfectly seasoned but the sweet potato fries were a little too sweet for me with the cinnamon and sugar on it. I cut the sweetness with the bbq sauce which was a good addition. I am looking forward to stopping there this summer and enjoying the outside area and the view of the beach. It is a great dining experience and you should stop in and try it out.
Had dinner on the patio last night and it was wonderful! Food was great and portions were very generous. Seemed pretty busy, however our food was delivered quickly and with a smile. Our server, Taylor was terrific! Can't wait till the next time. Great spot to have a drink and enjoy the sunset.
Excellent service and amazing environment. The food was great! I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun place to go with amazing food. Very casual and inviting to everyone. Indoor and outdoor seating and they have a volleyball courts!!
Dog friendly, great drinks, super view from patio, amazing BBQ and super affordable, huge portions. Oh and awesome service to top it off.

Food was excellent! Portions are huge! Cowboy caviar was incredible, as was the mac n'cheese. I highly recommend the loaded pig spuds!! We arrived before they were open and Dave welcomed us in and gave us a tour. Great experience all the way around!
My son and I stopped in Barcelona to buzz by the water. He recommended we stop at this cool bbq place. I just want to say the food was great and the service was awesome! Great atmosphere and great lunch!

I went to When Pigs Fly BBQ with family members for lunch. We all had good food and a great time walking down to the lake shore. I would recommend it to anyone going to Westfield, Barcelona and that area
Wife and I loved it. Our Server and Food was Awesome. Ignore the 1 star people. They are the McDonald's fast food generation.

My group enjoyed a late Saturday afternoon lunch here while traveling and were very satisfied with our meal. The place wasn't too busy and the food was delicious. The view was lovely too.
Phenomenal all the way around! WPF not only has an excellent bbq but also a very relaxing atmosphere! This restaurant is dog friendly, equipped with outside dining, tiki bar, volleyball court, cornhole boards, and a nice gazebo for live music- all on the beach!

My mom & I love this place. Great views of Lake Erie. They smoke their own meat. They even smoke their tea for iced tea - it’s strong and flavorful, I love it. If you sit outside beware of wasps trying to taste your food. The outside is pet-friendly. There’s an outdoor bar area and a little koi pond. My mom got a Bloody Mary earlier this year that looked amazing.
I've never been able to find a place to eat where all of my boys were satisfied. Tonight my teenager told me his meal was the best anything he's ever had. I believe it was a sandwich with pulled pork and mac and cheese. My 6-year-old put his heart on his chest and said oh my God I love this grilled cheese! My 1-year-old said nom nom nom nom all smiles eating off of our plates. I had the American cheeseburger and it was so amazing with whatever sauce they put on it. Everything comes on Texas toast. Five stars and worth the price! We also enjoyed cornhole and volleyball while we waited for the food and sat outside on the beach. If you're looking for something for everyone, you have found it.
Went for a Jeep Event with DSO and it was so much fun! Great venue and great indoor restaurant. Everyone was nice and the food was delicious. Beautiful view.

Our experience was great. The patio is beach front, with volleyball. The portions are more than plenty, and the meat is awesome. We got the half rack of ribs and Mr Beefy, and we would both get them again. Jeff served us and he did a great job.
The food is phenomenal! Highly recommend the food! The servers seemed to be all over the place with tables. No one had a certain area to take care of. There were 3 different servers for us, the table in front of us and the table behind us. Overall though, would definitely say you need to stop and eat here!
Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. We dined outside on the shore of Lake Erie. The view was spectacular. Potato salad was a little bland but the BBQ was delicious.
Food was delicious! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Very hot day so sat inside but the view was beautiful.
