Hands down the best barbeque I've ever had. Had the three meat plate (beef, pork, and chicken). It weighed at least 10 pounds. Not only is the barbeque amazing, but the homemade deserts are incredible. The strawberry coconut pecan cake is perfect and the peanut butter pie is outstanding. A must try.
Tucked away and not the easiest place to find but well worth the effort!!! Go early to ensure you get a full choice of the menu!
We stopped by here, not long before they were due to close, so not everything was available. Irrelevant, the food was fantastic, we both had the pulled pork. The various sauces available were so good, we sampled a few of them. We sat outside with our 2 dogs, who were not only welcome, they were given bones and meat as well. In fact, their take home box was over flowing, all thanks to the amazing staff. If you are anywhere near this area, I can't recommend it enough. An absolute gem of a find, great food, great staff, great setting and location, an absolute perfect end to a great day trip in this beautiful part of the world.
Had the best chicken ever. A friend traveled all the way to Belton to bring me some brass town chicken. Have to get up there soon.
The best pulled pork I ever had at a restaurant. This is real BBQ smoked to perfection I live over 3 hours away and I would walk to come eat this stuff . Try the nachos out of this world .

The staff was extremely attentive and the food was awesome. I will definitely be back. The grounds are beautiful and the outside eating area would be perfect for the spring or fall.
Can't wait to go back. Living in Texas, this is the barbeque that I compared everything out here to, and nothing came anywhere close. The brisket, pork, ribs, chicken...all perfect. And you absolutely have to try the Carolina mustard sauce!!! Miss you Katie!!!!

I enjoyed my first visit. Fun place with an interesting menu. They feature a BBQ sauce which I've never had before (and I've pretty much run the gamut), but I liked it. During the pandemic they were closed to inside dining but they had outside tables and an open roofed area for seating. But you ordered at a takeout window. Nevertheless, they brought your food to you and replenished your tea. I was with a group of about 25 which had reservations, and they seated us a 3 adjacent tables.
I found the ribs good but a little dry (maybe I should have added some of the BBQ sauce (I had asked for it on the side). I did add sauce to the pulled pork. Fries were fine and the Brunswick stew was good if a little small. They have bulk meats and sides, but I had a platter w/ 2 sides. There was a huge helping of pulled pork. (The rib was from my DIL.)
The flavor, quality and quantity of food portions, the service, and WOW the atmosphere were all phenomenal!! This place is nestled back on a country road, so not only did we get to enjoy the food, but the drive to and from are totally worth it!! This is my new favorite BBQ place ❤ Just remember to bring cash or check - they aren't set up to process credit/debit cards.
Most wonderful place for family dinner. Huge portions. Incredibly friendly staff. You can eat inside or outside by the creek. Did I mention, portions are huge!
Excellent place to get wonderful southern BBQ. There is inside dining with a pleasant atmosphere, feels so homey. Also beautiful area outside behind the restaurant to enjoy a picnic next to the creek. Places like this are hard to find, but should be experienced . Cash or check only!

Awesome food huge proportions very fast. Super super good BBQ, and ribs. Offer pork beef or chicken bbq. This is one of the best places I have eaten this far.
Staff was so nice and friendly. The food! Oh the food. I tried the bbq chicken, amazing. I highly recommend the strawberry coconut pecan cake, BUT if the red velvet is there, it's to die for. It is the real deal. Great place. Will be back tomorrow.
