The absolute best BBQ around. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is impeccable. The owner, Mark is one of the most down to earth people I have ever met & he truly cares for his staff which is reflected on how they treat his customers.
After eating at Uncle Bubs and loving it, I decided to use them for my wedding. I never thought that I could love than more than I did after experiencing how much they truly cared about my big day. It was almost as if they were my wedding planner, providing suggestions that didn’t even relate to the food industry. Mark even met me out at my venue to help with setting up my tables and trying out different tablecloth combinations(we rented the tablecloths from a company they partner with). The day of the wedding was as smooth as butter and their staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The food was constantly refilled through the night and everything tasted just as good as every time I have eaten in the restaurant. We got so many compliments on the food from our guests! I cannot stress how much I love this restaurant and how genuine each and every person is who works there. I highly recommend them for whatever your BBQ needs may be!!
Uncle Bubs recently catered our wedding in Elgin. Not only was the food spectacular but the staff was friendly, kind and efficient. Our buffet style setup for 180 people moved along seamlessly and people could not stop complimenting the food. I would highly recommend Uncle Bubs for any event. Additionally, the owner Mark and our event coordinator Marie were beyond helpful. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. �

We just had Uncle Bun’s cater our double graduation party this past weekend and they did a phenomenal job!! “Bessy” as we affectionately called the pig (pulled pork) was tender, delicious & amazing, the herb roasted chicken fell off the bones and all the sides were perfect! There was so much food!! Frank and Laura did EVERYTHING and took care of our guests. Best decision we made was to have Uncle Bub’s!!! I’ll never cook for a party again! Thank you Uncle Bub’s and staff!! Not enough stars for our rating!!

Uncle Bub's catered our wedding on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Abbey Farms in Aurora, IL. My husband and I always dreamed about having them cater our wedding since we've dined there multiple times, so it worked out since they are a preferred caterer of our venue. The planning process was made so easy by Uncle Bub's because everything was very organized and our meetings were always very detailed.
I could go on and on about their amazing food, service and staff that were working during our wedding. We used their popcorn machine during our cocktail hour as an appetizer, which was so fun and it smelled amazing! The buffet dinner ran so smoothly and efficiently, that all our 142 guests were served in under an hour! That left us so much more time for dancing too!
I want to thank Uncle Bubs & Mark (who showed up at the wedding to say hello!) from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day so special. I would recommend their catering services to anyone who wants a professional and attentive staff, GREAT food and a night of memories to last you a lifetime. A very successful company that stays true to their values.
We had Uncle Bub's cater our wedding this past weekend! The food and the service was fantastic! From the beginning planning stages to the day of, everything was perfect! Mark was unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable. He made sure we had everything covered. He not only helped us with food selections but also general wedding planning. Our contact, Ashley was also very helpful and willing to answer all questions we had. The staff the day off was outstanding. They made sure all of our guests were taken care of and that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our guests are still talking about how good the food was! We would highly recommend Uncle Bub’s for any event!
Uncle Bubs catered our wedding and the food was delicious we are still getting complements from our guests about how delicious the food was 2 months later. The staff was great about answering our questions and provided great service for our guests. It was an awesome feeling knowing that everything was taken care of behind the scenes so we didn’t have to worry the day of the wedding. Thanks again!!!
I have eaten bbq all over this nation. Everything on the Uncle Bub’s sampler platter was excellent. I will return!!

Food is good, but forget s mixed drink. Bourbon & lemonade in a small glass filled with ice for 9.00 is not worth it. Stick with beer.
Great meal today, brisket is excellent. Can't wait to come back and sample all of the other foods, turkey, chicken and especially the ribs, they looked awesome. Sauces are A+ too. Thanks for the chat, Mark, nice to always meet up with people from our old neighborhood.

Incredible BBQ. You sincerely can't turn out badly with anything here. My undisputed top choices are the bbq pulled pork and the smoked brisket. Attempt to arrive right on time for supper since it gets extremely occupied around the night.
Stopped here on my way home, and surprised the restaurant was really good and reasonably priced. Not typical for airport restaurants at all.

I am so impressed with the interior and service. We had Uncle Bub's Sample Platter with fried Mac n cheese,hand cut French fries and corn bread. The platter includes 3 BBQ back ribs, pulled pork, BBQ sliced beef brisket, rib tips and BBQ chicken. Everything tasted wonderful, BBQ sauce indeed deserved to be awarded. Chicken wings were very tender and juicy. We did tried there ice cream as well..
Nationally award winning BBQ. Great clean family place, super service and a menu that is top to bottom awesome. Cute and comfortable restaurant on the Main Street (Cass Ave. just south of downtown Westmont).

Great BBQ. You honestly can't go wrong with anything here. My personal favorites are the bbq pulled pork and the smoked brisket. Try to get here early for dinner because it gets really busy around 6:30.
Best pulled pork sandwich around and the baby back ribs are great to.

Love the Pulled Pork and Ribs. Best Pulled Pork in Western Burbs. Just make sure you bring a healthy appetite cuz these ribs will stick to you for a few hours but well worth the trip.
Love it-excellent food and the staff are nice, helpful and smiling. Casual and kid friendly.
Uncle Bub's is a great kid friendly place that is a great time and a hopping experience for the whole family.
Overall I'd give Uncle Bub's a B-, but I think I'd like to try the place again. It has some potentially good food with their brisket and pulled pork.
My husband and I ate here for the first time, and we were certainly not disappointed. I ordered the meat sampler plate and was in heaven. Ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, bbq chicken, rib tips, 2 sides, and corn bread! Ok, can I just say that my husband and I were SO in love with the corn bread. We called it sweet corn butter cake, and we both refused to leave one crumb on our plate. The chicken was so juicy, flavorful, and tender. The beef brisket was my Favorite meat on my plate. The ribs seem to have won many trophies and have now received Our #1 ribs in Illinois award. The eat-in area is huge and So southern kitchen/restaurant style. We loved it! I will say the service and employees were also friendly and welcoming. We have deemed this our new Go to BBQ joint! It's so worth it!
We hired Uncle Bub’s to cater our wedding and boy did they not disappoint. the food was INCREDIBLE. Our guests are raving about the food. Isabella was our coordinator and she made this whole process smooth and effortless.

We used Uncle Bubs for our wedding back in September. Our event coordinator, Briana, was seriously the best! She handled everything timely and was very patient with us. They also have vegan/gluten free options for guests, which made things easier for us. The food itself was great. Definitely consider them for a buffet style dinner!
Uncle Bubs catered my wedding and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh. Everything was unbelievable. I got a comment from every single guest about how good their food was. Their customer service is absolutely amazing as well. They help you with EVERYTHING! It was such a pleasure working with Briana throughout the whole process. The owner Mark is amazing as well, best customer service I have ever received. I highly recommend this place for your next event or dinner!! Delicious!
Their roast ribs are good. It would be better if there was more sauce. The sandwich is a little hard, but it's acceptable. Recommended ribs. I waited for about 30 minutes on Friday night, but it's understandable. A lot of people are busy. The service is very good. The staff are very enthusiastic. I am very patient when I ask questions. Price and affordability. The drink is a little disappointing, but it doesn't taste bad. It's worth spending less than 200 yuan with my family to have such a beautiful night. I will come back again.
My husband and i had Uncle Bub's as our caterer for our wedding last Friday and i couldn't have better things to say about them! They gave me absolutely no stress, which is so important for a bride. I trusted Isabella 100% and her and her team definitely delivered! All of our guests loved the food and couldn't stop talking about it, but also couldn't stop raving about how nice, caring, and personable the wait staff was as well. They really did amazing and am so thankful we chose them.
We worked with Uncle Bubs for our wedding and it was amazing! The staff was amazing and so easy to work with! The food was delicious, and weeks after the wedding people are still talking about how amazing the food was! It's definitely the best brisket in Illinois, my hubby would not stop raving about it!
Been coming here for 20+ years now, but recent experience had me thinking that the food isn't as good. Maybe it's because I make my own brisket at home now, since Bubs is quite far from me at this point... But the meat seemed to be reheated and tasted like my 2 day old Brisket/pork after I microwave it (see picture). What happened to the steel plates and the old fries (non curly home made fries)? Food was just good. We came in right at about 1:30 and it wasn't busy like i remembered it to always be around 12-2.
Very good food. I went two days in a row because I was working in the area. I had a brisket sandwich one day and a pulled chicken sandwich the next. Both days, I had the macaroni and cheese with baked beans as my two sides. All of the food was very flavorful with their own twist of seasoning. They don't put a lot of sauce on the food, but they have bottles at the table for your own preference. This is smart because I know some people don't like a lot of sauce, while others like it to be drowning. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

My husband and I booked Bubs for our wedding as they were a constant date night spot for us when we lived in Westmont! We were incredibly thrilled with all the work and effort and talent that went into curating our perfect day! From booking to the day of the wedding, they were efficient and quick and offered so SO much help! We worked with Brianna the most and she was truly a blessing, not one thing wasn’t taken care of immediately, especially day of, or done exactly how we’d pictured it! Every single guest told us how happy they were with the food all night! I cannot recommend Bubs enough for a wedding or just a simple dinner in, incredible from start to finish!!!!!
Uncle Bub's catered our wedding a few weeks ago and it was phenomenal. We are still getting compliments on the food. They were amazing to work with from the beginning. Our first meeting we met with the owner and he was so kind and straightforward with everything. He went over our options but then gave us his recommendations based on our budget, venue, etc. Isabella was our event manager and she was fantastic as well. She kept in contact with us in the weeks leading up to the wedding to make sure we had everything we needed and to make sure thatv they had all the info they needed to ensure everything would go smoothly for dinner. And the food. Everything was amazing. Guests were complimenting the food all night long. I can not recommend Uncle Bub's enough. Make sure to check them out for your next catered event!
Still the best BBQ in Chicago ten years running! Ordered this months special Catfish and sides with a hearty portion of this months always outstanding chicken dumping soup! Kudos to Mark and his crew for yet another superb visit to the farm! Well done!
Warm and friendly environment, appreciated the fallen soldiers table. Large menu with lots of options. We started with 6 Buffalo wings which were fantastic and got the 2 meat dinner with brisket which was moist and flavorful and ribs which were perfectly cooked, and a half slab rib dinner. Good mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese along with the cornbread. Finished with the peach cobbler and ice cream which was good but seemed like it was microwaved. Overall a very good experience and we will be back soon to find out who Uncle BUB is.
Great service, extremely clean dining area, and bathrooms were over the top clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. No leftovers everything was eaten. Food was delicious and I loved the fact that the corn bread was warm. A lot of BBQ places give you cold corn bread. Not here warm and fresh. I had the bbef brisket and it was tender definitely worth it. Also ordered pulled pork sandwich and same thing tender meat with delicious sauce. I definitely recommend this place. They have won many awards as well.
Went for their Chopped Brisket Sandwich special only to learn there is a limit at the register. A little disappointed since it was not mentioned in the promo email. The sandwich was very good though.
We just recently had a small wedding shower here and utilized their party room. Communication in setting up the event was very easy and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. The party room was the perfect size (we had 20 guests). The room was nicely set-up and ready to decorate when we arrived 30 minutes prior to our party time. Had very nice tables and chairs. Our waitress was outstanding and was very attentive and quick to serve our guests. The food was phenomenal! We had more than enough to eat! Everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Would definitely schedule a small party here again! Thank you!
Hired them for our wedding and AMAZING. Food was great, service was awesome, and they were understanding and supportive through everything this year as we planned and replanned. I will be hiring them again for our one year anniversary party when it is safe to do so again. Thank you for a great day and amazing food and service!
We worked with Uncle Bubs as our caterer for our 10/7/2023 wedding and just could not recommend them enough. We worked with several members of their marketing team including Cinnamon and Briana- both who made the process so seamless and easy. From the moment we stopped in to inquire about them being our caterer to the wedding day they were full of professionalism and obviously incredible food! The day of the wedding we catered pulled pork, herbed chicken, au gratin potatoes, baked beans, green bean almondine etc. and EVERYONE was raving about our food! Beyond the food being delicious, the entire team just went above and beyond and they were so easy to work with. I would highly recommend them for your catering needs- especially if you are looking for great wedding food!
