Has the best Chicken Korma I've had in the Silver Spring area. Other places are solid, but I always think it could use a little more spice. But Methi's has a nice amount of spiciness. Their Lamb Roganjosh is also great.
I’m a regular here so is my friend we order all the time. Chicken biryani -chicken tikka masala, chana masala, and gulag jamun. It’s worth it - It’s good MashaAllah and I always come back and order. Also you can ask them to make it spicy or not so spicy. Idk why some of the reviews suck…this is my go to. I order the things I mentioned often and it’s always good Alhamdullilah.
I’ve dined in and ordered delivery
This is very good Resturant the reason being is the one and only one - food is like home cooked meal the guy at counter is very polite service is good as well if you are ever in sligo creek pkwy / silver spring / Yakima park area try the food here most of the big buck fancy Resturant donot give the quality food for the price you would pay however this Resturant met all my expectation
I have been to many high end Indian restaurant and end up eating not worthy distasteful food try this one for a peaceful well paid and tasty meal
Got this order to go for was good enough to scratch an itch and enough to have leftovers but missing variety and just something... would still recommend if it's local and you want indian food. I'll be ordering again for the convenience.
Honestly, some top-quality food. Everything I ate was bursting with flavor and I only wish that the area could support a larger version of this same restaurant where the cooks get paid what they deserve. (More. The cooks deserve more than whatever they're getting paid, it was really quite good.)
I got the chana masala, naan, and samosas. They were all delicious. I asked for my chana masala very spicy and they are one of the only Indian Cuisine places that was able to actually get it as spicy as I wanted it. I got delivery so I don't know about the restaurants service and atmosphere but the food is delicious.
I got the chicken tikka Masala and lentil soup as a takeout. I thought the entree was better than the same dish I’ve gotten over the years at traditional Indian buffets, thicker sauce, but not greasy, not hot spicy. The lentil soup also has a much better firmer texture than a canned lentil soup and it, too, was thick. The spice flavor seemed fresh and it was salty enough to not need extra salt. Update: I got the Chicken Vindaloo a couple of weeks later as takeout. I selected “spicy” from the choices of spiciness on the website and I got a good sweat from it. Tasted good.
I have ordered take out from here few times. The staff is always courteous when I call, and my order is always ready in about 12 minutes. The first time I had the lamb rogan josh and it was really good. I have ordered few more times after my first experience, and although I have been satisfied, I feel like the portion has reduced a bit, and the food is not as tasty as the first time (it still taste good though).
I def recommend this place and can't wait for my next take out.
I felt the food and ambience was very good and pleasant for a lunch. The staffs were helpful and really liked this place. The chicken and lamb starters and kabobs tasted great and it's a good value of the money spent.
This is a hole in the wall kinda place with great food! I loved the Nepalese food. The lamb appetizer was delicious with a little bit of lamb mixed in with bell peppers and onions. The vegetarian Nepalese dishes were great as well. They give you a good portion for the entrees. The appetizers are small but very good.
The food was SO DELICIOUS, I HAD to post a review. I’ve been eating there every day since I first ordered from them last week. Oh my god. They have some sort of culinary genius working in the back. My GODDD, the medium spicy lamb saag 😍🤤😋😋. The chef at this place IS one of god’s favorites. If I could cook like this, I’d be soooooo fat.
The lamb vindaloo and naan was delicious. Very spicy but I love spicy. Will definitely order from here again.
Ordered butter chicken, palak paneer , Daal, a naan and a mango lassi with doordash. I got a lot of good basmati rice, The butter chicken and the naan were great, palak paneer was just ok (texture was too creamy) didn’t like the daal which had beans instead of most Indian daal with lentil only, also was not spicy at all, never got the mango lassi (doordash refunded, still a shame it didn’t arrive). Order came in fast.
All & all was tasty, Worth another shot with other dishes mainly because of the great butter chicken & naan.
