Don’t sleep on the wings. Normally I prefer flats but their drums are insanely good. My order is garlic and herb seasoning with buffalo sauce.

Oh my god !!! The good lord has indeed blessed me today with some Burnt Ends from Steam Boat. I ordered takeout and it tasted like it just came out of the smoker. All I have to say is this place needs a Michelin Star for Bar B Que. You just have to try it. No words of mine will ever describe what you will feel after every bite. Steamboat is the real McCoy of Bar B Que. Quick pro tip - Get the Apple Bourbon Sauce.

One of the best BBQ places in my recent memory. The food is great and the sauces are good. Walked in and the place smelled like good smoke (hickory and applewood? Idk.), staff was friendly and attentive, but the menu is posted wayyyyy in the back, paper menu up front was more helpful. Got some brisket, wings, fries and beans. The beam portion was a bit small, brisket was on the leaner side which is honestly my favorite way to have it and the wings were smoked to juicy perfection. It's a bit on the expensive side and not really by anything else. But, I live close enough I'll probably go back as a special treat once or twice a year.

This was my first time having Steamboat BBQ. WOW! If you like smokey BBQ, this is the place for you. Very authentic BBQ taste! I had the brisket dinner and my girlfriend had the burnt ends. The brisket was much lighter in flavor and slightly dry, which most brisket is, but paired with their Apple Bourbon BBQ sauce, the brisket was delicious. My girlfriend got the burnt ends. PHENOMENAL! Super tender, huge meaty smokey flavor, and the fat on the burnt ends is a punch in the mouth with flavor, and the texture, it just melts away as you move it and chew it in your mouth. We both had the beans for a side, and those were the best beans either of us had ever had. Reminded me of camping with my grandparents when I was younger and basquing in the smells of the campfire. So delicious. I also had the sweet corn and the girlfriend had Mac-n-cheese bites for our additional sides. The corn was good, but corn is corn and it's hard to make corn amazing. Their Mac-n-cheese bites were a bit more basic in our opinion, but still a good snacky side dish. Both of us had the Apple Bourbon sauce and it was sweet, smokey, and delicious with the slightest bit of heat that lingers, not too much, just perfect. I can't speak much on the atmosphere as I had a to-go order, however. This isn't a sit down restaurant atmosphere if that's what you're looking for. 80% of their building is taken up by kitchen and front desk, and it shows because the food is TOP NOTCH! Do not hesitate to give these guys a try. We will definitely be returning customers.

Almost 5 stars. Why do people go out for BBQ? is the meat. I had the beef brisket & it was very good and tender & I liked the butlers sauce. Good price too! Esp now as meat prices are through roof now. Friendly great service (but needs a place to write tip!) Deducting 1/2 star that even though soft & tasty & I know are skin on & seasoned fries (and you get A LOT with sandwich) That, still seemed too dark. I like fries par cooked then fried instead fried so long they get too dark colored. And also though a great deal on the sandwich I feel 2.99 seems pricey for 4oz of slaw & pot salad. Maybe next time I'll try the pork with carolina style vinegar sauce. It does hit the spot for that bbq craving, flavors and freshness seemed very good.

I have been here several times, food is awesome! We are enjoying the brisket burnt end meal with Mac n cheese bites, and pit beans. Daughter has the pulled chicken sandwich, which after a try was found to be very moist and flavorful. Another has a full rack of ribs! Sauces are all very good. If you even remotely like bbq, you gotta give this place a try!

Amazing bbq! The bacon is the best I've ever had. The restaurant is small, so take out is probably your best option.

This was and still is my favorite BBQ place in the west burbs. I haven't been here in about 4 years so i wanted to see if they tasted the same. They did not miss! The BBQ is tender, smokey and juicy! I highly recommend the ribs, the rib tips, definitely the wings and burnt ends. This is real BBQ and they are smoking. If you like fake oven cooked with super fall off the bone, this is not the place. If you order on a holiday, I recommend you place an order online because they can be overwhelming crowded. I ordered online a day before Father's Day and still had to wait an extra 45 minutes. Any other day I'm sure the wait isn't as long, but be please aware. (The only reason I rated the service a 4 is because the young lady at the counter had me come back 3 times before my food was ready. It was supposed to be ready at 1pm and originally I was 20 minutes early. She couldn't give me an accurate pick up time. They told me each time come back in 15 minutes instead of just saying " hey we're behind and yours will probably be ready closer to 1:30pm to 1:45pm.) Other than that the staff here is always super nice!

Absolutely the best BBQ place I have ever been to! Granted, I have only been to 12 to 20 or so BBQ places in my entire life but this place makes them all seem bad to lackluster. They have this really awesome sweet BBQ sauce too. I forget the name of it but it's awesome. When I go there next I am going to see if I can buy some for home use because it's just that good! It's been a long time since I was there but I recall getting a combo platter and loving it. ❤️ I plan on going back to there in the next week. 🤤 I gave it 3 stars for atmosphere because it's just a whole in the wall. It's not meant to be a fancy restaurant. You can eat outside but I just eat in my car so I could stay cool and listen to Part of the Problem podcast.

Tried the 3 meat and it was delicious. The burnt ends and brisket were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The wings were decent. What stood out was the sauce - I choose the apple bourbon and another sweet & mild one. Both were fire.

I visited the first time today and just walking in the door the smell was so good I had to let the person in the store know. The food was nice and hot and the burnt ends almost didn't even make it out of the parking lot. I almost ran back in to tell them that they were the best I've had outside of some southern BBQ without a doubt. I will definitely visit again and real soon as you have a new fan in me.

Edit back in town for the day. Stopped in to say hey and Johnny is at the counter. Brisket sandwiches are better than I remember. Stop in today and make your mouth happy. Johnny and his crew are top notch. Love the burnt ends. Best brisket in town!
