Great food for the value! It is a complete dive with no amenities and a distinctly local, ethnically diverse crowd. If you can leave your elitist tendencies at home, this is a great seafood restaurant with large portions, low prices, cold beer, and rock n roll on the radio. Will visit again.
Neat dive type of place to go. Super friendly. Great food. Always see regulars when we stop in. Wish they could get the Germantown location open. Currently it's just a trailer selling crabs in the parking lot of the building they hope to open.
Best place for steamed crabs. If you are in the area, this is the best place to pick up half a bushel of crabs. I got a big order of male crabs for $69 bucks. Delicious!
Not much to look at, but everything is hot, fresh, and tasty. Cheaper than Cameron's and just as good.
Very Good Seafood at very fair prices! My wife and I came here for the first time and got some fish with shrimp to go. It only took them about 8 minutes to prepare. And I gotta say: it tastes better than I thought it would. I am Definitely going back to try their other things out. I must try their Crab Cakes and Lobsters. Give their food a try. Not bad at all!
Got a dozen crabs here recently, they were fantastic and the service was fast. No hassle and a great price. Highly recommended.

The food is always hot and the Seafood seem to be fresh always. The service it’s OK. And the atmosphere seems to appease the neighborhood around the restaurant.
Staff is friendly and food was hot and fresh. Wish they had the crinkle cut fries still but the food was good. 1st time getting the greens they were pretty good. Lol not like my mama's.
Have enjoyed their seafood platters (whiting, scallops, shrimp, sides) for years, steamed shrimp and steamed crabs however the last couple of times I chose not to get the scallops because previously they started tasting like ammonia - ?? As for the sides, cole slaw, greens, potato salad, rice I find them very average tasting so I settle for the cole slaw which I tolerate. Like that they bring your food to you after you order pre-COVID. Kitchen staff are really nice. Former owner was really a people person and very sociable. The Buff has new owners now which are more behind the scenes. They have however expanded the menu but I stick with what I like and that are consistently well prepared. Also, like that seafood is lightly breaded so you get to taste the seafood.
The place had good prices. The food was ok. I would say it's not the best I've ever had, but far from the worst. The waitress dropped a shrimp on the table while serving our food, so she brought a whole cup full as a replacement. Good customer focus. No complaints here.
This is the place to go for Seafood. They are fast & efficient. The food is delicious . They have fixed the inside so nice.
I recently went back to this place & it all became clear to me. The older spanish guy sold the place. It has new Asian owners now. Some of the old workers are still there but now I get why the inside & vibes has changed.
When the older spanish guy owned this place, there was always lines and a crowd. Now when you visit, it's just about empty.
I'll miss him, he was really friendly.
Today was my first time eating here. Food was delicious. I got the fish and shrimp combo. I will be going again.
This place don't look great, but sometimes, sometimes these places are special. And this is one of those times. My dream would be another location that's beautiful with a buffet. But, I shake my head and awaken, and still have my special seafood place. Try it, you will like it. Keep up the good work....Perhaps a dream maker soon.
Fish is good..plantain is good..Mac and cheese is good.. collards might actually be mustard greens or maybe that's the way they overseason them. I'll be checking out more of their stuff in the coming weeks. The staff is friendly and will wait to cook your pickup order until right before you arrive so it's fresh.

Great local seafood spot!
Great Non-Traditional Thanksgiving Spot. Good amount of shrimp for 1 pound large in size. Only down side was the cocktail sauce. When I think cocktail sauce I think of horseradish in it that makes a great cocktail sauce otherwise the sauce was watery.
My fav place for crabs and seafood ! Came to check if roadside trucks on 355 were open yet! (Its only March). Prob will have to go to store in Wheaton, but the lady that runs the truck is awesome! Love them and their food!
