This place is a gem! Fantastic food, especially the pulled pork deep fried tacos. And that Angry Elephant sandwich, WOW! Truly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Taco Tuesday is awesome as well. You won’t regret stoping by for a meal at this great establishment. Lastly, the staff are courteous and friendly.
I would highly recommend this establishment. I had an Angry Elephant sandwich it was awesome. I love BBQ and if I cam eat a sandwich without adding sauce I rate it a great sandwich. I wasn't even looking for sauce if that tells you anything. I will be back. Also the wait staff was well trained and courteous! Check this place out!
If I could afford to eat every meal here, I would. I had the elephant sandwich, fries, and baked beans. All delicious! I loved the egg on the BBQ - interesting taste I've never had before. The staff was amazing and very friendly. I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu!
Ordered the Elephant Sandwich with Mac and the Angus Angry Elephant Burger with fries. Great Mac, fried egg cooked perfect, pork very tender. Will recommend and eat again

Walked in and was greeted politely the place looks great and clean and service was really good the food was great the pulled pork nice and juicy and tender will recommend them to everyone and will go back again
Just had dinner here this evening at the suggestion of a co-worker. It was so YUMMY! Our ribs literally fell off the bone (& I barely touched them). One of our kiddos hardly eats much in one setting. He ordered a pizza (it’s a good size one) - & finished all but 2 slices. Our daughter had the chicken wrap & said it was delicious!!! As a matter of fact she has decided this place needs to expand all over the world Lol! Oh and I can not forget the peach cobbler for dessert...all I have to say about that is OMG!!! It was amazing! The service was awesome and they were very attentive. We will definitely be back. #SupportLocal #ICT

My husband and I just had dinner and it was fantastic! I had the ribs and chicken combo. Ribs were awesome! Both meats were fork tender and loved the green beans. My husband had the Carolina pulled pork sandwich and said with each bite it tasted better and better. Can’t wait for them to start serving steak and seafood. Service was excellent too!
Went here with the wife after reading all positive reviews. When we pulled up there was only one couple in there. I was kinda worried and skeptical. Glad we tried it. Very good food and the guy who waited on use was very friendly and did a good job helping us. Would recommend.

I was very surprised from a restaurant laying in the cut! The food was great & the staff was very friendly! They had a variety of options. I had the BBQ but I can't wait to try try the tacos & cajun pasta.
Amazing food! Really good BBQ, but I like the non-traditional approach. It's a nice change of pace from all the other BBQ restaurants in town. It's also important to note that their sweet tea game is spot on. Service was a little slow, but very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again!
Went with a friend for the soft Reopening of The Angry Elephant. I'm so happy this restaurant has survived the pandemic! It's one of my favorite BBQ places in town. I had a two-meat platter with brisket and pulled pork, with a side of fried okra, Mac (shells) and cheese, and what I believe to be the best cornbread in town, covered in honey. Definitely go and get some of this for yourself!

It would take an elephant to eat all of this food. The portion sizes were crazy! Easily 2 meals for us. The BBQ waffle was a new item that the waitress didn't even know about. Turns out the owners changed the menus and didn't tell the waitstaff. 😂 It was a winner. The waffle was very savory and reminded me of a corn fritter. It was piled high with multiple kinds of meat and creama sauce. Glad they added it to the menu.
The BBQ Mac was awesome. The Mac was so creamy and not dried out like some Mac can be. Loaded up with 3 different meats and creama sauce. I personally didn't care for the hot links just because they were too sweet for me. The spice level was perfect but I'm just not a fan of sweet links.
The staff was awesome and very friendly. The art on the walls was done by a local artist. We will definitely be back because there were too many things on the menu that we still want try! Gotta get through the rest of the alphabet first!
Delicious and unique touches to make their BBQ top notch! The pork literally melted in our mouths, the Carolina sauce is a rare find in the Midwest and hit the spot, and they have a great variety of local craft beers on draft! Highly suggest!

Good location, parking was easy, service was good although the food took a bit longer than some, but exceptionally tasty. Few suggestions for a BBQ joint.... plates. The rectangle platters might look good but not very functional as intended. Plates should catch the drippings of those juicy burgers not my shirt. I looked like a 3 year old with burger dribbles all over my shirt. Ok okay laugh, my gal thought it was funny too. Also place paper napkins on the table. Fabric napkins is a nice step up but not when you serve burgers that barely fit in man paws. They are not enough for those over the top menu items. Exhibit A - The Angry Angus burger with okra. Too juicy for the rectangle plate. Love you guys I'll be back!
So happy they opened a new location closer to us! So...my 6 yr old daughter is very picky when it comes to food. She almost always tells us to go to Jose Peppers cause she loves their Mac. Last week she told us to go to Angry Elephant! She is in love with their Ultimate Shake. We actually order it for dessert and we all eat on it. I have had their brisket tacos and pork burrito and If you like that smoked barbecue flavor you need to try these. Also both come with a Pico that has cucumbers in them. It is such a refreshing Pico! Fair warning...if your Kid does not like spicy stuff don't have them get the kids mac. I love the stuff and have been more then willing to eat it when my girls don't.
Loved the Food and the presentation was awesome. Will definitely eat here again. can't wait for the 2nd location to open as it will be right down the street.
We were visiting from out of town. The food on the menu seemed good, so we decided to try it out. It did not disappoint. My husband and I loved what we ordered. The Mac and cheese had a little kick to it, which I wasn't expecting but made it so so good. I gave my husband a bite. He said if he knew it was that good, he would have ordered a side of it too. Lol. The pulled pork was also amazing as well! We went on a Tuesday night and there was live music. Not sure if there is always live music or just certain days. Server was nice and knowledgeable about the menu and also things to do in Wichita.
