We had dinner there last night and were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in. Despite not having a reservation and it being a busy Friday night we were seated right away. The service was prompt and the food was excellent! Our server was taking care of quite a few tables and one couple at a nearby table were very unpleasant. But the server handled them so graciously. Overall a wonderful experience. We will be back again!

Food was fantastic, and prices are very reasonable. We were first timers, but will absolutely be back next week. Owners and chef are awesome. They talk to you like the have known you forever.

Nice place for steak or seafood, had the lobster and shrimp, it was good. Nice happy hour, although no draft beer. The staff are friendly, but it is in new ownership, so they are still all new to area. I suggest to try it out and know that Hottles has been there for over 80 years.

Every time we arrive we are greeted with a warm real smile and we are looking forward to another great meal ! I always pick a new item from the menu and each time we leave with a smile bigger then when we walked in ...This week I had the Haddock Francaise and it melted in my mouth. The twice baked potato as always was incredible and the veggie's we cooked to perfection. My wife and daughter had double orders of clams each their fav.. All in All never a surprise always quality food and George can make a mean cocktail.....

Hottle's is Back!!! Renovated and renewed in every way from the menu to the decor to the parking, the warm staff welcomed us with food and drink that recalled the olden times of the hottest spot in the Wyoming Valley, when ladies and gentlemen dressed in their best for dinner and the line was out the door. With offerings like the rich lobster bisque and French onion soup; appetizers of savory grilled chorizo and sauteed shrimp (the new bill of fare shows a Spanish twist) that had us calling for more bread to mop up the garlic sauce; entrees of lobster tail stuffed with crab meat piled high, veal chop done to a turn with a toothsome mushroom and wine sauce, and fresh, plump mussels made especially for my mother (they wouldn't tell us what they were called); and desserts like creme brulee and the rum cake; it would take a determined effort to go home hungry or unhappy from Hottle's. Or thirsty, as the gimlets and chardonnay were fully up to the mark. If a negative is required to prove sincerity, they need to upgrade their internet and social media presence, because the place wasn't nearly as full as it should have been on a beautiful Saturday night in August. Get out there! Go!

Was suprised. There's a nice dining room in the back of the place. They have a 4 for $25 deal. 4 course meal for $25. Choice of filet mignon or lobster tail. Both are really good.

Can't wait to go back. Large portions and lotza style to the menu. Great decor, brings back old world dining!
