Williams is not really a destination city. Unless of course you are a duck hunter in which case you know all about Louie Cairo’s. If you are on Hwy 5 and looking for a great dinner or lunch spot you can’t go wrong with Louie’s or Granzellas which is a couple blocks away. Granzellas is more family oriented and has a huge variety on the menu. If you have a craving for a great steak and selected Italian dishes this is the place. Louie’s famous garlic and blue cheese bread is decadent to the max. I had the NY steak. Great cut cooked to perfection. My fishing buddies all had the steak sandwich which was as good or better than the New York. Definitely going to try that next trip. Service was great. Antipasto plate and good dinner salad accompanied dinners. Great bar and reasonably adequate wine list.

It's pretty good! Prices are reasonable and service is friendly. If you are in Williams..give it a try.
What a find. We stopped in Williams because we just didn't want to drive the remaining distance to Sacramento. What a happy accident or we would never have found Louis Cairo's. Williams is a small ag town with very little going on (is there even a supermarket here? We didn't see one.) But this place was packed when we arrived on a Thursday night. We can see why. Serving classic Paisano dishes since 1947 along with great steaks. Their garlic bread is famous for a reason - it is unique in it's used of whole pieces of cooked garlic mounded on the bread. No compound garlic butter here, just pure sweet garlic bliss.
I haven't had sweetbreads in over 25 years. When do you ever see them on a menu except the rare old school French place. Well they have them here every night -breaded and served in a marsala sauce. My wife had a very nice alfredo that was light and flavorful. Nice to see the sauce not thick as gravy.
Service was very attentive and friendly - we felt like locals right away. Well work a stop if traveling along the 5 and looking for a good old school Italian meal. Meals come with soup or salad and an antipasto tray
Awsome Food!. The Bread is soo soo soo good! The spaghetti is Awsome and everything else I have had there is amazing!
Wow. From the heaping garlic bread to the juicy prime rib to the tender calimari steaks through to the fine wines... this place is awesome!
The food itself was excellent. I ordered clam chowder and chicken marsala, and my husband ordered minestrone soup and Mac and cheese. Everything was hot and delicious! The garlic bread was outstanding, as well.
We didn’t call ahead and they were able to squeeze us in without much of a wait, so that was also unexpected and appreciated!
Our waitress was clearly overworked and stretched thin, and we watched her apologize to multiple tables for forgetting things. We also heard her ask the front of house to stop seating her section because she was running around and doing the best she could. I felt awful for contributing to that, so we tipped as well as we could.
Hopefully Louis Cairo’s has additional staff who can help, or is perhaps hiring more?
Great food! Hadn't been here for decades, and boy had I missed it! The chicken parmesan was wonderful 🤤
Was here 30 years ago and have never forgotten their ginormous Onion Rings..today however i had the Bbq Brisket Grilled Cheese....so absolutely amazing...i highly recommend this Restaurant...
I have been going to Louis Cairo's since I was a little girl, it has changed very little in that time, more casual dress requirements are about all that has changed, the good has always been and still remains some of the best in the area. Primarily Italian foods, with some of the best, veal, lamb and prime rib. The absolute best part is the garlic bread, layered with garlic, real garlic, not powder or just a few shredded prices if garlic but 1/4 " thick in garlic on top, and now they make the same style garlic bread layered with melted blue cheese, and I cannot pass it up any time I'm there. You won't have to worry about vampires for a week after eating Louis Bread! 😁
Absolutely perfect filet mignon! Also they were doing a great job of safely running a restaurant with covid-19 restrictions while not losing the ambiance or enjoyment. Whether you're going north or south, make this stop in williams. You won't regret it.
Delicious & Upscale
I have been to Louis Cairo's three times for dinner. Excellent Italian cuisine, upscale atmosphere and wonderful service. I highly recommend.
Good quick service! I had the minestrone soup as a starter and then the 12oz steak and prawns with half ravioli and spaghetti as the side. Everything from here I ordered was delicious!
