Nice Patio. We sat on the patio and got wings, beers, onion rings, and loaded cheese fries. Everything was good. The loaded cheese fries were better than I expected, but the wings could have used a little more sauce. They were still good though.
I will definitely go again, I'll still order the wings, I'll just order them with extra sauce.
Always great food. We love this place. The food I'd always good. We especially like Fred's hot pepper pizza. The buffalo chicken salad is delicious too. The staff is very friendly and always very attentive. We jjust wish they had a better draft beer selection.
Reservations. Would really be nice to have,since people are just beating the doors down to get in,because your food is so good!
Delicious food and just a great vibe all around. My husband and I got chicken fingers for an app and they did not disappoint. Our Jack burgers and fries were wonderful. Fast service even though it was busy.

I also like their wait system. We had to wait for a table which is fine (it was a saturday), but you can see where you are in line and how long you’ve waited. It’s cool.
Have never had a bad meal here. The perch and shrimp is very good. Burgers are great! Hungarian Pepper pizza is delicious. Nice patio on the Chagrin River.
I'm pretty critical when it comes to reviews you either get an amazing one or terrible one or nothing if its the way it should be that's just expected lets be honest. We recently have gotten into hot sausage pepper subs, appetizers and thought we would give the Freds Hot Sausage Pepper Pizza a try via take out! 1st of all the ingredients are top notch, from the crust, cheese, sauce to the sausage and peppers, quality is top notch. Taste was out of this world, very spicy but perfect because if you order this lets face it, its a spicy dish anyone who doesn't like spicy shouldn't eat it. However, if you do this won't disappoint, in fact local pizza places need to step up their game!! Perfect pizza, presentation was great, the bake time nothing was over done or gooey either, everything was spot on!! Great job don't change a thing!!!

Warning ...Bees on patio. Got stung and had to deal with a bad reaction the entire labor sat weekend.

Suggestions to traders.. move the flowers that are attracting the bees even more.
The lobster bisque is superb. The pepper pizza is flavorful and cheesy. Their wings are large and the signature sauce is the best. One problem is their boneless wings have many little shards of bone in them. I showed them to the waitress and she said she would show the chef. The manager did not come over for the issue.
Large, casual riverside restaurant with eclectic menu and large portions. Full bar with lots of specialty drinks. Family-friendly, fun vibe. I tried the perch; it was delicious and a large portion, too. Friendly and efficient service. They had a 55-minute wait for tables when I arrived but we were seated after about 20 minutes, although patio tables probably had a longer wait time. A friend recommended this place long ago and I am glad I finally tried it. Worth the wait for a table and quality food. Highly recommended.
Group of six seated right away inside. 30 minute wait for the patio. Our waitress , April Z, was friendly and attentive, amazing .The food was excellent. I had the jambalaya which was spicy and so delicious. Perch dinners, cod sandwiches. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the portions are huge. The only downside was the prickly pear margarita...way too sweet.,
Great food and excellent service. The only down side is the corner room is SO loud that people have to scream at each other to be heard. We would have been better off being seated behind the check in counter. Outside was not an option.
When we got there it was quite busy and there was about 1/2 hour wait time, which I kind of expected. We waited for a while and then ended up sitting at the bar watching baseball. The food was good and the staff was great. I’m not sure where we would have sat if we had waited but I like that they’re right on the river. Fun place and would like to go back again.
Pretty cool place that has an amazing patio that I unfortunately didn't get to try due to a 1.5 hr wait. Next time I'll get there earlier. The staff was friendly and efficient. My sangria was awesome. The food was good. I'll go back for sure.

The Pizza is a winner. The steak salad was top notch and the perch and shrimp platter was good. The perch unfortunately tasted fishy.
When in the area, we would definitely drop in!
We arrived early for a birthday celebration. The outdoor seating has a variety of seating options. For eating, you have covered patio areas, tables with umbrellas and even a covered bar-style seating with a great view of the river. For just having a social drink and small plates, there is a nice selection of fire pit and barrel tables to sit at along the river's edge. The entire restaurant is very handicap accessible, including large wheelchairs.
The service was very friendly and will accommodate your pace, which is a refreshing experience. Two of our party ordered the Lobster Bisque, which looked and tasted very appetizing. The mains included BBQ Chicken, The Jefferson Salad w/Chicken, Garlic Broiled Shrimp, and a Blue, Bacon Jam Burger. All of the food tasted fresh and was plated well. The dinner portions are large as more than one of us took home some of our meal.
We will have to save room for dessert on our next visit as their menu has plenty of options.
Was not disappointed by this place. Really good food and service! If I lived here I’d be here every week. The appetizers were perfect and the local perch filets were super tasty! Perfect place for lunch and I imagine it’s a pretty cool Friday night place too. Huge outside area too.
Trader Jacks was a cool place to grab a bite and drinks before Kayaking up the Chagrin River. The food was fresh and well seasoned. The only downside was things were a bit slow because they were SUPER busy. That said the wait was worth it.
