The best local coffee shop in Wilmington. I often meet people, do some last minute work, and of course drink tea here at least a couple times a week. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. The staff, at all locations, are friendly. Highly encourage you to check it out.

This was our first visit to Carolina/Wilmington NC area and had a Port City Java across the street from our Hotel. We had not heard of this coffee shop before and decided to try it.......My daughter and I were not disappointed!!! We LOVE our coffee and are very "picky" about what we drink but in 24 hours we had gone back to this coffee shop 3 times and everytime it was the same delicious cup of coffee!!! Fresh and the same tasting everytime!! We had problems with our favorite coffee places not being consistent in taste π We're only here for one more night and are disappointed Port City Java is not in our area but will look forward coming back here just to be able to enjoy visiting this coffee shop again!! Would recommend this place to anyone that appreciates a great cup of coffee!! βπ Also the staff were all very pleasant and took the time to give me the history of their beginning and explained that customer service was what was most important to them!! We plan on at least two more visits before we leave π

A don't miss coffee shop. The mocha shake is amazing. We had the blueberry muffin was fresh and tasty.
Can't wait to make it back and stop in again.
This morning I ordered an iced coffee and a sandwich. Both were very good. First time here, and will return on my future trips. Staff was very friendly and at 7:30 there was no wait. Thank you Port City Java!

The two ladies working were very nice. We had a lovely conversation about almond milk and our drinks were made quickly and correctly.
Its a nice local chain providing a refreshing change from your large national branded espresso dealers.
Stopped in on an early Saturday morning and got friendly service and a traditional cortado (off menu) that made the morning a little more enjoyable.
I'll be coming here again.

Best coffee shop next to Cup of Joe in Raleigh. I've never been able to find a place that can make a Mocha shake the way they do.
Staff is always friendly and ready to provide good strong coffee, I reccomend a dirty chai or a salted caramel latte β

Love this location of port city java, service is always good with a smile, I've never had to wait very long at all, and they do a great job with subjective amounts of additives when it comes to the more complicated or involved drinks!
