Ordered with Emily for an office lunch (6 people) Two entrees were with vegan cheese and on gluten free bread, two things you don’t find a lot of downtown. The vegan cheese was the best I’ve found in town. It was delicious! Others ate the Jurassic Pork, Bada Bing Lasagna and the Dragonheart, not a bite was left uneaten. One person is now a lifetime fan of Bacon Jam!
We will definitely be eating here again and soon!
Thank you again to Emily and the staff! So glad y’all are downtown!
Sandwiches are on point! Super cool atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food and great drinks! What a great addition to downtown Wilmington. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu
Well hot & holy damn, went in today on a day off and let’s just say I’m blown away. Had the pleasure of Xena taking care of me. Great personality and attitude! Desperado definitely hit the spot and may have turned up the heat just a bit with the jalapeño cream cream, but not to worry I had Beyoncé’s Knees there to carry a cool sweet refresher to the palate. Well done Crust ! You have my vote of Absolute Approval Thanks for the deliciousness and welcome to the neighborhood!
Sandwiches and drinks were on point!! The Desperado was incredibly delicious! Our server Addison was a pleasure! Best new place downtown!

Amazing atmosphere, best sandwich I ever had, and Prosecco on tap - best spot in town! Can’t wait to try the next sandwich and MAC & cheese!!!
Such delicious food and wonderful staff! They have vegan cheese options and gluten-free bread options also.
Tried 3 different sandwiches, all outstanding. Really good bread, grilled to perfection, great combo of ingredients. Loved the Desperado (steak, herb-y cream cheese, avocado, etc.) and Dragonheart (a riff on buffalo chicken with a terrific slaw and cheese sauce). Next time I'm definitely getting the VIncent Vega (pimento cheese, ham, and fried green tomatoes)--sounds yummy. The fries were perfection. I predict Crust is going to be a big hit. The location is really good (parking lot right next door, in a busy downtown area) and the ambiance is friendly, laid-back, easy-going. I hear they're going to have Prosecco on tap--can't wait!
Great spot. The food and cocktails are thoughtful and creative. Ambiance and staff are warm and welcoming. Awesome new addition to downtown.
A little more to try but the Desperado is the cats pajamas... Soooo good. My first time there I split three different sandwiches with my wife. Couldn't finish them all. But the awesome food, drinks, atmosphere, music and service will make it my go to place on my day off.
Just Wow! Some of the best grilled cheese selections I have ever seen...Thelma & Louise is a must have!
Ahhh-mazing food and cocktails!!! It was great to see you Emily and meet part of the Crust crew today....they are all a blessing to the food scene in downtown Wilmington. CRUST Kitchen & Cocktails is the best new food stop....you must go see for yourself, you won't be disappointed. See y'all soon!
Stacey and crew have achieved nirvana! I had the Vincent Vega, but of course they had me with fried green tomato! Lovely atmosphere, great staff, and plenty of great food on that tray! Go get some Crust love...you can't go wrong!

We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of food and how delicious it was. Wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend
Delicious food, friendly staff. Love this place!
Great food, great vibe, great people! You can't go wrong walking through this door, you'll definitely leave with a smile on your face.
I had the Mel B which is vegan and it was delicious! My husband built his own and says it was too greasy - but he's the one who added the Impossible Burger 🍔 patty, so I think that is on him🤣. Also, in my opinion, a grilled cheese has to be a little bit greasy. And this is a very nice grilled cheese place. My only complaint was that I found the music to be a bit too loud.
Fun, friendly atmosphere. Very clean, good social distancing. I got the Desperado sandwich with tots. The sandwich was packed with meat and flavorful. My wife (vegetarian) got the fake meat gyro and it was AMAZING! We will be back and that is what I will be getting. Very fresh and tons of flavor. The tots came as a large portion, we took food home. John the owner is a hoot, and has another restaurant in town we want to try and can't wait. We will post a review when we go. We will be back and also maybe try The Little Rascal with fried chicken!!! Well worth a look and the money.
Oh..... My.....gosh... The most amazing grilled cheeses that my wife and I have ever had. I'm so sad we missed Vegan Wednesday, but we will definitely be back for that! I recommend the vegan grilled cheese, it's too die for. Thank you Crust!!
Stopped in on a Friday for lunch during Hurricane Ian. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, staff was attentive and friendly. I ordered the Ghostface Fillah and tots. Food came out fairly quickly and the waitress checked in with me several times over the course of my meal. Cool little restaurant with a dope vibe. Will be eating here again!
I just found another place in Wilmington that blends semi-exotic flavors with modern art...and it's a masterpiece. This place? Crust Kitchen & Cocktails.
FOOD: Ok.....alright and...ok, again. Crust has the goodies. Paying homage to the once-famous "Beef on Weck" from the now-closed South College Deli, Crust introduced me to their "Ghostface Fillah" sandwich with a side of mac & cheese. My first bite took me right back inside S. College Deli when I first tried that famous sandwich. This GF (with vegan mayo) is as close to, if not better than that Beef on Weck. This sandwich included shaved ribeye steak, aged mozzarella & provolone cheese blend, au jus, horseradish, arugula, caraway seeds and sea salt sourdough bread! This sandwich is close to perfect when you're searching for that one, nostalgic mixture. MUST TRY!! The mac & cheese side was solid. Although it's not the absolute best of mac & cheeses I've enjoyed...it was still good. If the cheese would have been slightly less on the thick side with some additional, light seasoning...it could have reached full potential. I also tasted the Home Alone Cheese Sandwich with a legendary bacon jam! Just saying this now...I enjoyed that bite so much that I had to ponder which Sandwich was better. I still do not have a conclusion to that question. Also featured was the "Perfect Strangers" appetizer (Roasted 'shrooms. Marinated olives. Artichoke Hearts. Boursin Cheese. Fresh Herbs. Grilled Naan Bread.). This Mediterranean Antipasto was a clean and refreshing start to our meal, not to mention delicious. All around? Crust Wow'd me! SCORE: 4.8 STARS!!
SERVICE: We entered inside the restaurant, masked up, where it appeared we were the only patrons at that moment. We were greeted and seated out on the back patio area for outdoor seating and greeted by Bryn. Bryn practiced safe, social distancing and was properly masked throughout. She was friendly, personable, confident in Crust's products and was thorough with check-ins, refills. We also met the acquaintance of General Manager, Nikki. Nikki was equally as friendly, appreciative and awesome. Smiles everywhere. Prompt service. Good vibes in the face of a pandemic. SCORE: 5 STARS!!
OVERALL SCORE: Crust Kitchen and Cocktails will be a go-to place for me in the near-future. You left a nice, first impression for this foodie. Thank you again for the amazing food, incredible service and making me so full I may not eat again for days! 4.9 STARS!!
Crust isn't open on Sundays, my big day to try new restaurants, so it took a long time to finally get to n try it! So glad I did. Its located on Princess Street across from Manna! A great location, good street parking, or right around the corner from the Market and Front St. Parking Garage. The restuarant is crisp and clean. A good number of booths. The menu is fun. It offered a number of tempting adult grilled cheeses, some salads, soup, cocktail menu and dessert! I had the special, a fried chicken, melted cheese, ranch, tomato sandwich, it was delish. I tried the tomato soo too, no clue what was in it, but I loved it, got it instead of French fries! Speaking of fries, they have a variety of those too! Great lunch spot if you find yourself downtown! Enjoy!

We ate here for the first time last weekend and absolutely loved the food!! I had the Home Alone with cheddar, provolone and fried chicken. I also got a side of tots and tomatoe soup. My better half got the Lumiere and a side of tomatoe soup. Everything was amazing! The staff was friendly and kept our needs filled at the table. Everyone followed Covid regulations, wore mask and maintained social distancing. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of products. They have seating out back too and the area is Beautiful! I would highly recommend Crust if you are in the downtown Wilmington area!!
Delicious! Wonderful selection of sandwiches and beer. Staff is really nice and the location is great. Enjoy downtown Wilmington after eating here!
We had the Fresh Prince and Pimento Cheese fries. Everything was absolutely amazing! I can't wait to try one of their awesome custom cocktails next time.
Soooooooo good! I'd never eaten here before and the server on the phone pointed me in the right direction! You wouldn't expect the takeout items to be plated as well as in the restaurant, but when I opened my to go box everything looked fantastic. The Ghostfacekilla is a must as well as the cheesy prosciuto bread!! I got the side of mac and it was so good. If you love cheese and carbs, get what I got!!
