Hands down BEST catering company I have ever encountered. From the very first tasting Liz was amazing. My bridesmaid and I showed up to the tasting and of course I bring along the one bridesmaid that’s vegan. � I must’ve looked like a deer in headlights. Without a beat, Liz and her chef came back with vegan friendly dishes similar to the ones that I picked out. That right there was the +1 customer service.
Then my wedding. My wedding went so fast but ppl went crazy over the food. I had guests who have worked in high end restaurants and have worked with tv worthy chefs and they all claim that this was the best food they’ve ever had. Friends and family are still raving over the food. I wish I could have a wedding every year just to book Thyme Savor!

We had a great experience with Thyme Savor Catering! From booking our dinner to the chef, server and food - our overall experience was excellent! They took care of everything and allowed us to have a wonderful evening! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Will definitely use them again if we’re in the NC area again!!
I used A Thyme Savor for my wedding and they were excellent! After having a few busts with other caterers in town, A Thyme Savor renewed my faith after our first tasting. Their staff was extremely helpful and they provided everything we could have ever wanted. We got absolutely no complaints at the wedding about the food and honestly had guests asking where they could buy more! They packaged up leftover food for us to take home after the wedding and their spread of food was elegant. Book this company for an event and you wont be disappointed!

What a great experience - almost didn't cater my daughters wedding, but now I am so glad I did. There was lots of food that tasted great, and I didn't have to spend days putting it together. Wonderful people to work with; fitted us in at the last minute for a tasting, and even delivered on July 4th!

If you are having an event or wedding in Wilmington, NC you need to work with Thyme Savors! Every step of planning my wedding catering with Thyme Savor was a positive one! Liz and the team were so accommodating from the very first email exchange to the tasting to the menu design and finally to the execution of the event.
I would highly recommend Thyme Savor for brides who are planning their event themselves. At every step of the way Thyme Savor was available to make changes, answer my questions, and provide input on decor, equipment rentals, and service options. It was so helpful as a bride to have that honest input from experts!
If you want a lot of control over the menu or want to do something a bit unconventional, Thyme Savor is more than willing to come up with new options or change some of their menu options to meet your needs! We did stations and heavy appetizers and Thyme Savor was more than willing to get creative to make our ideal menu come to life!
Most importantly the FOOD WAS AMAZING! Our guests were raving about all the options and the quality of all the offerings! We loved every bite at our first tasting and a year later we had the same quality of food served to our guests!
I don't have a single complaint, Thyme Savor was so kind, attentive, flexible, and provide us with amazing food for our event!

A Thyme Savor helped to make our wedding dream at Wrightsville Manor come true! The food was delicious, fresh, and highly-complimented by all our guests. Liz was wonderful from the moment we emailed with questions, to the tasting and all that followed - she worked with us to create a menu that would work with our budget, but also still include our favorites. The value was excellent. Our guests couldn’t get enough of the appetizers especially the chicken & waffles and the kids loved the macaroni & cheese bar! The staff was gracious, warm, and attentive. A Thyme Savor blew us away from the first appetizer we tried at our tasting all the way to the last bite at the wedding! I got married on April 1st, 2023 and chose A Thyme Savor as our caterer. I had previously sampled their food at a friend's wedding, and it was some of the best ahi tuna I'd ever had. We also selected their alcohol package. Although the bill was by far our largest wedding expense, it was worth every penny. We were able to select a menu that truly catered to our guests tastes. Liz was great to work with, helping adjust the order as needed. During our cocktail hour, we opted to go with the huge Southern Roots display, which was pleasing to the eye, and to our guests, who didn't have to hunt down waiters for a passed hors d'oeuvre. For our main courses, the coq au vin was tender and rich, the butternut squash polenta cakes were to die for, and the baked salmon with champagne sauce was incredibly fresh. So glad that we made the choice to go with A Thyme Savor.
If you're on Castle Street and even if you're not, get to Thyme Savor! The crowd of people will let you know you're at the right place. The food is amazing! The staff is excellent and takes great care of their customers. Everything about this place will make you want to come back, and we will definitely be back!
A Thyme Savor catered our wedding rehearsal dinner and it was perfection! Everyone is still talking about the food. In addition to the most delicious appetizers, dinner, and desserts, I greatly appreciated the support and input from Liz as we selected the menu, and the professionalism of the staff as they prepared and served our guests. I recently had A Thyme Savor cater a bridal shower. They were so patient and helpful. I booked them pre-Covid so had to reschedule. Last minute the venue wasn't able to host our event and there were a number of changes. Lindsey was incredibly patient and accommodating.
The food was incredibly delicious and the presentation was impressive! There were so many compliments! The guests particularly loved the shrimp and grits and the tomato pies...the two items listed on their website as award winning!
I will definitly use them again and would highly recommend! You will impress your guests with beautiful and delicious food!
Wonderful catering experience! From the ease in putting in the order with Liz to the timely and conscientious set up by Aaron the morning of our baby shower brunch - everything was perfection! The food was incredible! Gourmet, locally-sourced, tasted made-from-scratch, and beautifully presented. Everything was so flavorful - and honestly, the best shrimp and grits I've ever had. 1000% recommend. Thanks again for making our event so special.
5 STARS!! A Thyme Savor Catering was a key part of making my wedding day so magical! We chose the Taste of Italy for cocktail hour which was a beautifully displayed charcuterie spread. Every aspect of this spread was very detailed and absolutely delicious. Our guests could not stop taking pictures of the display and even took to-go plates into the reception. To top it off, we chose the Little Italy dinner buffet. We had penne pasta with three options of sauce: Pesto cream, marinara and alfredo. We paired this with meatballs, Italian chicken and fresh garlic bread. We also added the salad and roasted vegetable display. All of this was a big hit with our guests. People went back for seconds….and thirds. A month later, and my wedding guests are still raving about my wedding! Look no further, book with confidence to make your wedding food just as memorable! Shout out to Liz with A Thyme Savor! She was a joy to work with and answered all my questions promptly.
Delectable food, punctual service, and highly communicative folks. The chef is a genius. Everything we ate had a unique and charming flavor profile. Our POC at Thyme Savor, Liz, gave us quick responses and helped us create the perfect menu for our guests. She’s a gem and a great representation of how well the whole organization runs.
On the day of the wedding, our guests were blown away with the whole experience, from cocktail hour snacks to kahlua pound cake bites. The event staff had bright smiles and were endlessly patient with us. We truly enjoyed every little thing. Thank you!
This place will be tough to beat as my new favorite. Pancakes, biscuits, eggs, grits and coffee were all perfection. The service is beyond great and please try the coffee.... amazing.
