Upon walking up to the restaurant and wondering if we had parked in the right area, someone from the restaurant enthusiastically welcomed us and invited us into this colorful blue restaurant. Our waitress continued the welcoming atmosphere as we were seated. We really enjoyed our locally sourced meals and the dessert tray selection was another plus. And the prices were pretty good!

Excellent breakfast as well as barbecue. We had the breakfast platters and son loved the French toast- were willing to substitute for the meat options. Very friendly.

We stopped here while traveling through. The food was down home Southern cooking good with generous portions.  The staff was friendly and helpful.  The next time we are past there, it is a must stop!

Treat Yourself!. Yes, that is the tag line listed on all their pickles, juices and condiments and it is spot on! Not sure if the Parks & Recreation reference was intentional, but quality points regardless. - -

Authentic southern bbq and soul food, someone here has clearly spent some time in Texas and the southeast, because they really know how to use their smoker. My dad really enjoyed the catfish on a previous visit, but this trip my mother and I enjoy two orders, the house smoked kielbasa and a huge baked potato with pulled pork. Mac ‘n cheese was delicious and the biscuit was nice too. I appreciated the cold Natty Boh bottles in the fridge and there was a nice coffee bar right when you walk in, so options for everyone. - -

Parking is limited, along with seating, so if you are lucky it will be nice outside and you can put the picnic tables to good use. There is a sign saying you can park at Walgreens and then use the crosswalk to head on over, so not to worry, but everything is served takeout-style, so that is easy too. This is truly authentic, intimate southern market and worth visiting again and again!

My parents and I decided to have breakfast at Bonnie Blue on the way home after visiting Winchester. We had the most lovely time and our server Charlotte was such a delight to talk to. The other waitress working at the time (sorry I didn't get her name!) was also very friendly and welcoming. Between the three of us, we ordered the shrimp and grits, meat omelette and biscuits and gravy. Everything was made like we were sitting in grandma's kitchen, in the best way possible- tasty and very filling. We got some carrot cake and cookies for the drive home. Would come back again and recommend to anyone visiting the area

We literally just left lol and we ordered the steak and both were not cooked right and they forgot to put my daughter's meal in but got it out super fast. Every place makes mistakes but most don't wanna do anything as a way to make it right. They went above and beyond not only did they recook our steaks perfectly they gave all 5 of us free desert, didn't charge for my daughter's fried chicken meal and gave us the friend & family discount. Not only that we tried to buy a Apple Cider on the way to leave and they just let us have it. I've never seen a place so so much to make it better. The deserts were amazing, it all was. The manager was the sweetest and our server was great especially for being new. I can't recommend this place enough for the polite way they handled it. We'll definitely be back

Amazing. I got the Crab cake and Eggs, which 👌🏽. My biggest complaint about crab cakes is that they tend to be so bready that you hardly notice the crab. This is NOT the case. It was CRAB and i LOVED it. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned so well that I would've just eaten them alone and would have still been happy. The service was great. I also got the lemon curd which is a must if you're a lemon bar fan. Great food. Great people. You should go!

Picked this place up driving on I-81 and looking for an outdoor sit down restaurant. A fabulous experience with Harrison as our server. Great shrimp and grits and Pullman toast. Wonderful meaty omelet. We got a sample of their beef brisket. Yummy. Added to the list between Philly and Lexington

Despite the outdoor seating being roadside, it is fenced off for privacy. Wooded picnic tables with sun umbrellas make outside dining great. Food is wonderful and service with a smile is refreshing! Great coffee too! Such a cute place!

I've lived here for too long for this to be my first time eating at this tasty restaurant. It was my first time but definitely won't be my last. I ordered the crab cake with mac n cheese, french fries, cornbread, and an arnold palmer (with sweet tea of course). The cornbread wasn't quite ready so they gave me a biscuit as a placeholder. What can I say but it was some amazing good ole southern cookin! My only suggestion would be to serve the biscuit and cornbread warm with butter and a side of jelly. Besides that I was extremely satisfied with my meal and cannot wait to go back and try the fried chicken.
