Absolutely love this place. My wife and I were customers before they closed last year and were disappointed to see it go, but the new owner Mel has made the cafe even better than before. They've got all the usual items you'd expect at a coffee shop like cappuccinos, lattes, drip coffee, etc., and also breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and pastries. My personal favorite is the cappuccino, and my wife loves the latte (with 1 shot of vanilla). The drip coffee is also delicious, and I don't normally like drip coffee (try the dark roast, its to die for).
I've already been 3 times and can't wait to go back!
Awesome staff beautiful atmosphere. Stoped in for Ackee Patty by amazingackee and they did not disappoint :). Well worth the trip. The blueberry muffins was pretty good too and prices are great. Great place to relax and have a cup of tea
Great little coffee shop with fantastic staff and wonderful owner. I visited every morning during a recent visit back to my home town. People were hanging out playing games, working on laptops, or just enjoying their morning coffee. The coffee and iced tea were delicious as were the breakfast sandwiches and bagels. Definitely worth stopping by if you find yourself in Windsor!
Hands down best coffee I've ever had, and I've had alotttttt of coffee. the owner Mel is an absolute delight and I'll continue to come out here. Definitely recommend if you're sick of paying for overpriced coffees that aren't made right. 10/10
Love the Bean! Great coffee and the donuts are amazing. The shop has a great vibe and Mel the owner is awesome. It’s a little gem in the center of our town.
I LOVE The Bean 226. It is what we’ve needed in Windsor for quite some time. Mel is the most welcoming owner/barista and the coffee is delicious. I am so excited to have a coffee shop in downtown again.

Mel has done an exceptional job establishing her coffee cafe and eatery in the heart of Windsor. Seating spills out from the cool grey interior onto the spacious walk way for warmer weather enjoyment. My white mocha-mocha latte was expertly made with skim milk.....and the toasted PBJ on toasted multigrain satisfied my hunger and nostalgic cravings. The staff was knowledgeable and engaging, working hard to get my order right. Take timeout for a timeout at the Bean 226. You won't be disappointed.
Homegrown, friendly, welcoming atmosphere! Mel feels every person who walks through the door feel like family. Delicious espresso drinks - my daughter says try the Nutella Mocha! I highly recommend.
So glad there’s now an amazing coffee shop in Windsor center again. New owner is incredible! Coffee delicious and good hours.

My boyfriend and I stopped in today for the first time. Our white mocha’s were amazing and not too sweet, and we also loved the sweet and spicy cream cheese. Mel and her staff were engaging, energetic and super friendly. We will be back!
