Definitely a small town restaurant. About 12 tables. Quiet atmosphere, staff was nice.
Ordered the deluxe cheeseburger...not quite a "man vs food" burger...more like "man vs anorexia"... But it was good and juicy. Bathrooms are small.
Best moment-- got to sit in the same booth that Harrison Ford(the actor) sat in. Can't get that at the local Sonic or Church's Chicken
Shelter from the storm. While moving across country this past winter my travel mate and I were "stranded" on a corner in Winslow, Arizona when the highways were shut down due to a large amount of snowfall. This gave us some extra time to explore the town and stumble upon the Brown Mug Cafe. The dining room is a typical cafe, making a traveler feel comfortable and at home, and southwestern eats. I recommend the fry bread taco. The waitress was pleasant and attentative, even with the increased business as more travelers found themselves having a bit of time fill.
Such food! Very wow!
We were on Northern Arizona for a week and this was the meal we all agreed was the best. The Navajo Tacos were our favorites... the combo plate was great... the service was excellent. We couldn't gave asked for better. We wished we lived closer.
Thanks for a wonderful lunch stopping on our way to Sedona, Arizona.
It was wonderful to be able to eat and not worry about the bikes. Navajo tacos highly recommended.
Above average been there for ever eatery. Top notch Red and Green Sauces. Many locals there late in the afternoon. Definitely a repeat.
Really Good Food and Service, Homeade chips and salsa, the salsa is very hot they do not have mild, I order a chimichangia it was really good my husband ordered enchiladas he loved it.
The food was out of this world. Great service and the atmosphere was fun. Fast and friendly service. The chips and salsa were delicious. We had the Navajo tacos and enchiladas-- everything had a great flavor and was very filling.
Always a local favorite. . Its a treat for sure. . Always look forward to getting food 😋 their. . Good chili good tacos
Well, let's start off with their homemade chips and salsa....yum! There is nothing better than when a restaurant makes their own chips and salsa. Theirs's was sooooooooo good that I got a bag of chips and a jar of salsa to go! For my dinner, I ordered the Navajo taco. Once again freshly prepared taco with all the toppings including red and green chili. I like a little heat, so I added some of that homemade salsa on top of it all to make it complete. Highly recommend this local spot. Fast and friendly service and easy to get back on I-40.
