My favorite Thai restaurant in the are. The peanut sauce is so good, I wish I could order it as soup. The curries are excellent, as is the pad Thai. Staff is friendly.
Last time we ordered basics to check them out. They passed so we went back tonight. Everything was marvelous. Duck with honey, druken noodles, piran with chicken.
Best Thai food. Love love love this place!!!! Usually get the yellow curry and pad Thai - both are outstanding!!! They bring out a small salad with every meal. The peanut dressing makes it!!!
Underwent a few changes in ownership, but the current team has Thai Place on the right track. Yellow and peanut curries are both truly outstanding. Staff are attentive and friendly, always making for a wonderful meal.
This is one of favorite places to eat lunch during the week and also best Thai places I've tried in the area. Service is fast & efficient even on their busier days and every dish I have tried has been delicious. I highly recommend their Mussaman Curry or Pad Thai. Their crispy spring rolls & fresh summer rolls are also great appetizers!
There are some decent Thai restaurants in Orlando, but Thai Place has become my favorite. (Was turned on to it by a couple of friends who live in Thailand several months a year.) The Hot pots, desserts, and Shu-Shee Beef are outstanding. Looking forward to trying many other dishes.
Amazing. We found this place by coincidence. The lunch was delicious and it made easy our top 3 Thai list of Orlando and the best in Winterpark.
Awesome!. Love to lunch here with my daughter. We are curry fans and theirs is great! The food is always good, the prices are reasonable and the service is great, even during the lunch rush. I highly recommend. It is my second favorite Thai restaurant in Orlando - my heart still belongs to Thai House, but this is a very close second!
Our office eats here almost every week for lunch. Everything is good and the service is great. They do tofu really well also!
Awesome. Don't go anywhere else in Central Florida. Consistently excellent food EVERY time, great atmosphere and excellent service. I try to go once a week for lunch, and dinner when I can.
Thai Noodle Soup. The absolute best I've had in the last few years. Great flavor, nice spice kick, very delicious. Service was very good and they had a dancer. A little awkward that our table was right beside her.
Definitely going again!
Live Entertainment. They have certain nights where they have traditional Thai Dancing. Very very cool. The servers are super sweet girls. Excellent service. I can't help but order the Peanut Curry every time. Most of their other dishes are different that what I remember from my childhood but I wouldn't discount them. Every chef has their own interpretation of a dish. Doughnut desert is to die for. I keep coming back for the awesome service. Food is pretty good too.
Awesome yellow curry chicken!! Yum!
The remodel is beautiful, unfortunately you will be helping pay for it with the higher prices on your old favorites. My pineapple fried rice with shrimp (3) and chicken was $12.95 VS. $8.95 just 6 months ago!
This place is the best!!! Get the yellow curry. NOW!! green curry is excellent
December 21, 2014 By Sherry Nappa Leave a Comment Thai Place – Beef Param Lately, it seems like Thai is the food of choice when my son and I get together on Fridays. We picked up my daughter this Friday, and we headed straight for the Thai Place located at the corner of Lee Road and North Orlando Avenue in Winter Park. It doesn’t open until noon for lunch; it fills up fast shortly after it opens. Sometimes we arrive a bit early, and we hang out in the parking lot until it opens. Thai Place Appetizers – Chicken Satay, Crispy Spring Rolls, and Fresh Summer Rolls Regardless of the time of day, we always start with appetizers. I love the Summer Rolls or the Crispy Fried Rolls. My son faithfully orders the Chicken Satay with Cucumber Salad. I usually order a Thai Ice Tea or Thai Coffee. They’re deliciously sweet and refreshing. I’d like to order a refill, but I suspect the drinks might be high in calories (both drinks are made with sweetened condensed milk). Thai Place – Peanut Chicken Curry Even at lunch, a salad topped with a ginger-peanut dressing is served with each entrée. By this point, I’m usually full of Summer Rolls and Thai Ice Tea, but still, I drool thinking about the delicious entrée. We tend to order the same things every time we go. Usually, we stick with Pad Thai, one of the curries, Beef Param—or anything with peanuts, Thai basil, or peppers. I always threaten to try something different, but I’m so satisfied with my usual fare that I never do. The quality of the food is excellent and consistent, too. Portion sizes are more than adequate for the price, and we usually take leftovers with us. I rarely order dessert, but when I do, it’s always sticky rice with mango. Thai Place – Chicken Pad Thai We’ve always had good, friendly
Thai Place serves lunch and dinner. It offers great portions for each, and at a reasonable price. They give each patron a small salad with peanut dressing. The salad is the perfect size to whet your appetite, and get you in the mood for Thai food. Rarely
Service was great, quick! The staff worked together as a team, any one of the staff that passed by checked on our table and asked if we needed anything and helped serve us. I tried the drunken shrimp fried rice. Food was amazingly delicious and flavorful with a little spice to it. Absolutely Loved it. My party enjoyed their meals. I would definitely stop by here again. If you are looking for great Thai food, I would recommend this place.

Lovely Thai restaurant. Great service and food. I am sure most menu items can be made vegetarian. I had the pad Thai and it was excellent. The prices are reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a good Thai restaurant.
This place has got yummy Thai food and has a great vibe! We had the chicken curry, papaya salad, dumplings and Thai tea! Everything was flavorful and our server was very attentive. Would recommend this place!
They have pretty good Thai food, but nothing too impressive. Pretty standard menu with all the classics like chicken satay, curries, stir fried, and noodles dishes. I liked the panang curry and chicken satay the most. Service was friendly, and prices are reasonable. I'd come back.
We had to leave when our food was ready. But the staff was understanding and packed it away for us quickly. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was excellent!! I look forward to eating and dining here soon!!

Craving drunken noodles and this came up first. Quickly seated and attended to. Started with chicken satay, drunken noodles and pad Thai came in a timely manner shortly after. Was great service. Good portions.
The Red Curry was quite good, not 5 stars because I like a bit more soup with my curry. But there were plenty of vegetables and chicken.
Presentation and food was delish! Service was quick and prompt. The restaurant doesn't have your typical Thai feel and they should match the music but we are so glad we stopped in to try this place. We had the Spring Rolls, Drunken Noodles with chicken and the Thai Basil Duck and Shrimp. Everything was fresh and hot. I loved the crunch from the fresh cabbage in the spring rolls and the duck melted in your mouth. The Basil Sauce was amazing! We will definitely be back!
I have never had a bad meal from Thai Place Yesterday we had the drunken noodles with chicken and Thai Palace fried rice 10/10 ABSOLUTELY NO COMPLAINTS! The food is great!
Just moved here and been searching for the best Thai cuisine in the area. I found this placed and was please to see they have all the dishes I like most. Today I got the fresh spring rolls and Basil Fried Rice. Both were amazing! Plated very neatly and didnt wait long at all. I will be back to try more items.
Excellent, delicious foods, waited 30 minutes to open because of Sunday but worth waiting,
Exceptional customer care service, thank you so much for your care, keep it up
GOD bless you all
Meeting new friends in florida and they recommend this place amazing food and love the coconut drink
Long story short: this resturant is ideal for a classy authentic meal.
I loved the taste and couldn't wait until finished my whole plate and my brother's too!
One thing I found odd was that the chicken tenders were served with rice, however, I did not follow how was that dish supposed to be eaten - it felt little odd.
Secondly, the dishes labelled "Thai spicy" were plain spicy instead of hot & spicy.
Overall, I feel like visiting this place all over again!
Amazing food. Duck was cooked wonderfully, crispy yet soft inside. Better than thai house in orlando. Shrimp was great. Noodles were great too. My only complaints were that the shrimp was a bit under seasoned and the food wasn’t super warm. Staff was very polite, funny, and organized.
I ordered the drunk noodles and sticky rice to go.
The noodles were a very good portion and with the price.
The sticky rice was on point, just wish it was a little more in volume for the price.
All in all the food was very good, presentable and well packaged.
I would absolutely go back for more.
Thai place is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to. The Thai tea, Tom Kha soup and Panang red snapper is definitely a must! The staff is nice and the service is always great!
I went here for lunch 10/07/2021. I wanted to get a curry. I ordered a peanut curry and 2 fresh rolls. I believe those are "summer" rolls instead of "spring" rolls. that have the rice wrapping on the outside and are not fried. Overall I like those better and are a healthier option. The curry was very good. It had some seasoning. with vegetables and beef protein inside. The meal was small and fast. The price was good and the service was very good. The waitresses were nice. This was a good stop. I do recommend
Have been coming here for a long time but haven't been here since they remodeled. The place is beautiful!! The bar is a nice touch and they have Happy Hour. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because we missed the complimentary side salad with peanut sauce and my husband ordered cashew chicken it had a LOT of red peppers and onions and a few carrots. It was missing any other veggies, broccoli and snow peas. My Pad Thai Tofu was PERFECT.
