First Real PoBoy in Orlando. For those of you not from NOLA, the difference in a PoBoy and other sandwiches served on long loaves of bread is the French bread. Flaky, almost crispy, thin thin crust with a light and soft, not mushy or dense, inside. For some reason, no one who tries to do a "poboy" in Orlando can figure this out. We get hoagie rolls or sub rolls or Publix rolls. All of which are great (love me a Publix sub!) but, they are not PoBoys. New Orleans Cajun Seafood got it right! The bread was perfect. I had an oyster poboy, wife had a shrimp and they tasted just like ones from Danny and Clydes! Just need some Zapps and a Barqs Red Cream Soda. For everyone whining about the simple nature of this place, there are simple, independent poboy shops like this all over New Orleans. Will go back to see how the boiled seafood is.
Not sure what the discord was between previous reviewers expectations and reality. This is a tiny New Orleans-style fish house. The server was really helpful, offered suggestions. Jambalaya was spicy and had big pieces of sweet crab in the shell stewing. It was amazing. Big gulf oysters fried up with a cornmeal breading on the poboy. The bread was perfect: crispy outside soft inside. It wasnt dressed up with lots of silliness. Just mayo tomato and lettuce like it ought. Went back next day for the gumbo. IT'S SO GOOD. And all the prices are ridiculously reasonable. It's not Tibbys in that it's authentic and not overpriced.

This is a little gem of a shop if you haven't been there you really should stop by very seasoned Seafood for a good price friendly staff not a long wait.
#crab is the best here and locals with fancy #corvettes come to dine $13.50 for crab legs, corn, and boiled red potato
Great stuff! I went here for the first time yesterday and liked it so much that I returned today. The gumbo was a delicious appetizer and had a perfect level of spice. The shrimp, crab, and crawfish in Cajun sauce were all fresh and tasty, and the combo was at an extremely reasonable price. This place is a hidden gem, and an amazing place to get some Cajun seafood.
Stopped in here today, based on a referral from a friend. Amazing gumbo! Had a shrimp po’ boy and was impressed with how perfectly it was prepared. The staff was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. I’ll be coming back on a regular basis. Highly recommended!
Love their Seafood Platter with crab legs and shrimp. So happy they opened on this side of Orlando. Was driving to West Colonial location until I found this one closer to me. If you love seafood this is a must place to try
Food is delicious, It is the definition of a dive. However what it lacks in ambiance, it more than makes up for in good food. The Crawfish and Blue crabs are fantastic. They also serve a pretty good po boy!!! They do not serve beer, however if you are sweet to the counter lady she may let you bring your own..
I was happy to find this place. The Po Boys are like NOLA, but maybe a little smaller. The shrimp egg rolls are to die for. Wings were good too. My only suggestion would be to add the gravy to the beef Po boy, which was forgotten and to add a roux to the gumbo. The gumbo was very tasty actually without it. However, true gumbo has a roux base. If they added a roux the gumbo would have been flawless. Just some suggestions for a place that has much potential. I will be back to see how big progresses, hopefully after reading this rating.
This place is a hole in the wall for sure. You can just drive by and not even notice it was there. But the food here is pretty solid. Great place for crawfish! I suggest getting the special which comes with 2lbs of crawfish (with 2 options for seasoning) corn, and a potato.
Great food for a great price! Small and unassuming little place. Don't judge a book by it's cover. If you like fresh crab and shrimp, this is your place. I'll be back!
Friendly staff. Small but enjoyable. Good food. I enjoyed it and the ones that were there have frequent flyer miles. That should tell you something. Up and coming and good.
This place has the best po boys I have found in central florida. If you disagree please comment where else I should try! I don't think many will though. Shrimp crab and fish options. Also man other options on the menu. Don't be fooled by the empty lobby when you go in because everyone I have ever seen there comes for carry out.
Hole in the wall Cajun surprise. The main lady who takes your order or whoever she was was incredibly nice and explained the dishes you might not know are. No fluff here you get your food on a box or on a paper plate and it's perfect.
Great food. This is for sure a bit of a hole in the wall seafood joint but I love it for the price and delicious food if you want a nice seafood dinner to take home this is the place!
The food was incredible!!!! I expected mediocre but it was so incredibly tasty and the portions were falling off the plate full! The price was not that bad...I will be going back.
