We live on Leroy Island, less than a mile from Skipper’s and are very familiar with this place. Over the years I’ve had varying opinions of the food and service. The atmosphere has always been resort rather than fine dining. Since new ownership we have found the food presently up scale and very well presented. Service has been excellent and in all each seating has been enjoyed. As for price point, we find the prices in line with current prepared food costs. In all its great to have Skipper’s, its new owners and some very good fare on the Eastern shore of Sodus Bay!

We were visiting Chimney Bluffs state park and on our way back looked this place up. Restaurant offers some really amazing views. The staff was super friendly. Seems like a family owned business. We were in a hurry so staff accommodated us and served food really very quickly. The fish and chips were really good and fresh and the fries were really nice along with the tartar sauce. Good quality food. Ambiance: offer great natural lake views. Sitting area was good too. Parking Easily available beside restaurant.

Pleasantly surprised, looked like a local bar when I walked in the door! Passing thru town and Skipper’s Landing was open for dinner - I had the Scallop and Shrimp Linguine with Cajun Cream Sauce, it was FANTASTIC! Also ordered the loaf of fresh baked Italian bread with butter which was a delightful start to the meal. Loved the fire places for ambience and warmth - looks like it would be a great place to try in the summer as well.

Really nice RESTAURANT. Not a pub. Tremendous service. Staff are very very friendly and professional. Food was wonderful. My prime rib was the best I have had in a very long time. Scallops were perfectly cooked and seasoned. My soup was great as well. Wish the salad bar had been open but they really do everything to keep COVID-19 in check. All staff wearing masks and everything sanitized. The first place in the area to have hand sanitizer at the door.

We have been to Skippers several times. Staff and service are solid and we have always had a good meal. Prime rib is consistently tasty and the have gluten free pasta for my wife which is a plus. We have never had a poor meal there and the drinks are reasonable. I recommend this place.

My friend and I stopped here for lunch after checking out Chimney Bluffs State Park. The food was really great. I had the battered lake perch and lobster bisque soup and both were delicious. We had a nice view of the lake from inside and overall it was a really nice spot if you were craving seafood.

Newly reopened, Skipper's Landing was super busy. Although we had to wait for an inside table to open up, we had a drink at the bar while we waited. The staff were all friendly and attentive, food was excellent, and we enjoyed a great evening out.

Skipper's Landing is a nice restaurant located right on Sodus Bay that serves mostly sea food options for lunch and dinner. The food is delicious but on the expensive side and it's known for attracting alot of vacationers and retirees that can afford the higher price gouging. The inside is pretty big with lots of indoor dining but the downside is that you're practically on top of the group of people next to you and it's hard to be able to not concentrate on other people's conversations. They have a bar inside as soon as you walk in the door and there's an outdoor tiki bar that sells alcohol and provides live music from local artists that have minimal talent but still enjoyable. It's a great place to eat if you can afford it

Its great here, but one request is that you could pit a list of drink choices on the menu aswell. But the Alfredo is good.

Very nice location on the east shore of Sodus bay with outdoor seating and a great view of Sodus Bay. A good selection of drinks along with good service and food. There is also plenty of dock space if you travel there by boat.

We ate here for our anniversary dinner and it was perfect. Warm, welcoming, just the thing for a chilly November night. The waitstaff was a delight, the food was wonderful, especially the local caught perch, the mahi, and the scallops. A friendly, cozy place right on the water, even when it's too cold to sit outside!

Gorgeous view of the bay, delicious food (I had the scallops & caprese salad, burgers were also great. Other patrons food all looked appealing and I only heard compliments of how it tasted by others around us), great cocktail selection and friendly staff. Pricing was affordable. There wasn't any negatives to our experience.

First time for me to visit this restaurant as my parents have been there several times. We all went there today while out on our motorcycles. The environment was very nice, the setting was great, a guy named Eric who was bar tending also was very impressive. He did a great job taking our food order, drink order and served our food while we sat at the bar watching the football game. Eric is very talented and was on top of everything and he made sure we were satisfied as well as many other customers he was taken are of. Skippers Landing is an amazing restaurant and the food was very delicious and the service was beyond excellent. AAAA++++ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO EAT AT FOR SURE
